You can easily request items on their website and Aaron responds immediately with any questions or confirmation. He is polite, respectful, efficient, informative and flexible. A deposit is requested to hold the date and items, conveniently payable via their website link or Venmo, Pay Pal. A confirmation email locks your date and items in with the deposit. The day of the delivery driver calls to confirm address and drop off time and pick up. We have never experienced any problems with dropping off at wrong time, wrong items, incorrect number or broken. The chairs and tables we order are always clean and in good working condition. We wipe them down before stacking to make it easier for them to pick up. Unfortunately, the night before the event the guest of honor that we were throwing the party had to go to the hospital so we could not carryon on with their party. While customer service is always great, no one forgets the bottom line, and Hawaii Special Events offered very affordable pricing, and he allowed us to make changes throughout the planning process, even on the day of! For my wedding they did a few different linen services. They did the pipe and drape for my bridal backdrop to "hide" the TVs that we're mounted at Kapolei Golf Club. They also did the sweetheart and cake table linens in my color scheme but with different textured linens which was fun! Finally, they did my chair sashes which I was extra excited for because I asked them to add on these swirly embellishments! I did not get to talk to or meet with anyone after meeting with Jazz, but they were also responsive by email & everything turned out beautifully. And so, I decided on throwing my baby's party at Bishop Museum's great lawn. With that said, I needed to find a tent company that could supply tables, chairs, and lighting for that amount of guests. Hawaii Tents & Events happened to be the best option especially for the price paid. Other tent companies I researched would have charged easily over $5,000 (without tax) and one company even quoted me close to $10,000. With Hawaii Tents & Events, I did pay a little under $5,000. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The tents, tables and chairs weren't in the best condition but they weren't bad looking either. I did knock off a star because my communication with Tracey (Director of Sales & Marketing), though not the worst, was also not the greatest. Over the phone, she seemed really nice. It was just, at times, it was hard to get a hold of her. I didn't get responses as quick as I would have liked, especially when it came down to figuring out the layout of everything. A lot of my other vendors were dependent on the final layout and some decisions throughout my party planning had to be held off longer than I would have wanted. The mediocre communication, however, would not keep me from booking with them in the future. Their prices really cannot be beat!
