Adrian had everything setup and even let the kids pick what music to listen to on Alexa (Hamilton!) The studio is cozy and well-stocked with supplies. Adrian is super talented and also a patient, fun, accommodating, creative and encouraging guide to crafting. He walked us through the almost-two-hour process of making our own, unique wooden signs-- from sanding, staining, pressing patterns, choosing colors and painting. We had a great time and came away with beautiful art. And for the very, very reasonable cost, I'm surprised there are any openings this winter. Run to DIT!!

The teacher, Alexander, was so kind and very thorough in his teaching, which made it easy for me to follow along :) Any questions I had or anytime I needed suggestions, he was immediately there to help. I also appreciated his efforts in letting everyone express themselves and not having to follow the class exactly, but more about having fun! I thought everyone working was kind (big thanks to the owner as well!!) and I am definitely coming back to paint more! This location is really spacious with different rooms for different experiences, with lots of great drink options (including THC/CBD options for non-drinkers like me who still like to have some fun). I thought the price was really fair considering you get to take a beautiful painting home after being taught in a prompt two hours (wish it could've been longer since I had so much fun). The staff is wonderful. They take the time to know your child and help them in areas that they struggle. Among many things that are good it's wonderful to be able to participate in helper days. He then went through their other classes - 2-year old, 3-day, and PreK. He is now doing great in Kindergarten and loves school and I feel that the Co-Op is a big reason why. My three-year old now goes to the Tuesday/Thursday class from 9 to 11 am and his teachers are wonderful - patient and caring and they are so dedicated to helping the kids participate in a lot of fun and educational activities. My 15-month old will start soon with the parent-tot class also. It is so fun to watch the little ones interact with each other and explore the activities and toys in the room. Since it is a Co-Op, you have the opportunity to participate in your child's education by being the third grown-up in the classroom once every 6 to 8 weeks. (Except for parent-tot where you stay each week.) If you work or otherwise are not able to be in the classroom, there is an option that the school can provide an aide. (Just costs a little bit more.) All of the staff are very special and so great with the kids! (And they often have good parenting advice too!)

The classrooms were all different, set up to serve different teachers and classes. Some classrooms still had chalkboards. The cafeteria worked great to serve as a student lounge and hold lunch. However, we were not notified of any injury at the time it occurred or when we picked him up. To this day (weeks later) MAGE has been unable to tell us how or when our son was injured that day. Due to our son's age, he was unable to articulate what happened, but it is obviously unlikely he did this to himself. Due to the lack of information provided by MAGE, the pediatric doctor requested x-rays to eliminate the possibility of a broken bone. After x-rays revealed no broken bones, his arm was adjusted back into place. We were asking for 100% reimbursement of the $530 for the x-rays which was our out-of-pocket after insurance, and MAGE denied our request. We are very dissatisfied with how this was handled.
