It is in a good school system and boosts an interesting and diverse socio-economic pool. Rich Wheaton kids, middle income Wheaton kids, poor Wheaton kids, poor kids off the "bad" side of Carol Stream...A good place though if you know what your kid is up too...and trust me money and a nice house doesn't buy good behavior. Bower, Hubble, and Wheaton Warrenville South High School. Still struggling from trauma inflicted from both staff and peers alike. But this is symptomatic of all government-funded public schools. I will admit, some of the teachers here were amazing. But good teachers within a broken system can only do so much. And even some of the ones I liked would more or less blow me off. Unless you have immense confidence and your parents have a good source of income, you won't get far with the arts programs here. Unfortunately, I had neither. Also, the amount of homework is insane, and there wasn't really any good support for me in being able to manage it all. I feel bad for the teachers, because I know some of them did their best, staying after school to help me. But alas, I had to drop out my junior year at 17, partially because I was behind credits and still technically a sophomore. The other part, well, the bullying and complete social isolation. I guess that is why I am here now reviewing this 7 years later, as it was my anniversary of that day a few days ago. I really can't bring myself to give this any more than 1 star, sorry.

Madison has the most wonderful staff in the world. They're just the right amount of sweet and strict. Gene Sikorski, the principal for over 25 years, just retired this past year. The teachers are always trying to help their students as much as possible. They are always positive and never ignore their students' questions or requests. The best education in Wheaton, bring your child to Madison. You won't regret it.

The parking is somewhat limited for these sports events and is VERY hard to find. Parking on nearby streets is restricted and there's barely any parking near the lake. There are indoor bathroom facilities as well as the Johnny On the Spots. The concession area is easy to get to. Too bad they were out of most food when I went there. It's a shame I can't legitimately review the organization in charge of the track meet. Although there were many fast runners there, those working the meet were VERY slow. This was the second meet I have been to at this facility and the amount of time between heats and different events is ridiculous! Us parents could come down from the bleachers, take a few laps ourselves and they STILL wouldn't be ready!

They do a great job of staying Bible based and at the same time very relevant. Their academics, athletics, and arts are all at a top level.
