The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. I recently purchased an orange braising pan, the medium-sized one, and a cobalt blue oval dutch oven for my mother-in-law. Before this, I would normally cook my orzo and rice pilaf in my Lodge Logic iron cast skillet, which is well seasoned from years of use. However, when I made the rice in the braising pan, my husband made a comment about how he loved that the rice didn't get crispy on the bottom. Stuff doesn't stick to the pan either, so it's a really easy clean-up. Just remember to wait until the pan is completely cooled before you run water over it. This could damage the cookware otherwise. And although they always tell you at the store that there's a lifetime warranty on all their cookware, Amazon reviews of Le Creuset products will tell you otherwise. According to other buyers on Amazon, they are really super nit-picky and basically blame you, the customer, for mistreating the product and will not replace it for you. Right now, though, I'm happy with my product. No complaints. By the way, the customer service is great. They will bring out your purchases to your car if you need help. All the women who work there really know the product, and one was even honest enough to tell me that they did not prefer the Le Creuset wok over a normal wok because of the heating factor.

We hired Luxe Kitchen and Bath for several home improvements, but the quality of work was unacceptable and improperly executed: - Flooring: The original glue was not removed, and the slab was not leveled before installation. When an independent flooring inspector evaluated the work, Greg falsely claimed a moisture barrier had been installed. Luxe Kitchen and Bath later stated they let the installer go, yet Don refused to accept the inspection report and demanded an additional $5,000 to fix the issue, claiming my wife's wheelchair caused the damage. - Plumbing & Bathroom: They broke the toilet flanges and overtightened the toilet, cracking the porcelain and causing water to leak beneath the flooring. - Doors & Paint: The storm doors were not installed properly, and the wall painting was poorly executed. Throughout this process, project management and communication were virtually non-existent. Don never visited the site to inspect the work, and Greg only came when specifically requested. We received no progress updates, and Don failed to appear for the independent inspection, sending Greg and Kim instead. It is deeply unacceptable for a contractor to perform sub-standard work, refuse to take responsibility, and attempt to blame the resulting damage on a disability while demanding more money. Luckily the tile was in stock and The employee helping us went to go get another box off the shelf so we didn't have to enter the store. But I feel the guy was really careful when he was putting the box of the tiles in our truck. I don't think he broke them. I like their holiday sales . I always wake up early on Black Friday because they have great prices on poinsettias for $1.99 each and wreaths for $7.99 can't beat that. The reason I get up at 6 AM is poinsettias and wreaths run out pretty quickly.
