Some of the play areas are already showing wear and tear - even though the park is fairly new. Hope the city does regular maintenance to keep this park in safe and good condition! Note: the parking lot is not very big. No washroom facilities except for one portable toilet by the parking lot.

The little kids can enjoy this area, and for the larger kids and adults, there's a baseball diamond beside it, with a netting to protect the little kids from fly balls that go out of the park. One thing that kind of freaked me out was the tarmac under the monkey bars. I coudln't figure out why the designers would use that instead of soft grass or sand! However, I found out later that it's not actually made of tar, but of recycled tires or something, and it's blown into place like foam insulation. So it's actually a protective layer! Very advanced, and I'm very impressed now! The kids seemed to enjoy the place.
