Came home one day to find a stranger had let himself into my back yard without warning and no concern for my pups who have access to that yard. After a few visits, I have given up and fired them. He gave me a timeline for getting the work done based on his availability, which was a few weeks out. He was available a week early, called the night before to confirm it was okay to do the job early, and then arrived on time the next day. He was careful with his equipment not to damage my yard (the chipper was huge), and he chipped all the material within a few hours. I want to comment on his clean-up as I have never had another contractor do such a fantastic job. My yard, and the four areas with the very large piles of dead trees were spotless. He did a much better job cleaning that I could have done on my best day. No little twigs, no leaves, and no damage to the grass that was under the pile. Spotless.
