His bid was competitive, and he was able to offer suggestions and ideas that we hadn't thought of or didn't know were feasible. The initial timeline was several months out, but Rob remained in contact and was able to move us up on the calendar. The project was completed at the quoted price, plus a couple of scope additions we requested. Work took a little longer than expected, likely due to modifications needed to bring our aging home up to standard, and the perfection of our tile work; Rob does things the right way, and uses great subcontractors. The end result is beautiful. The bathroom remodel was completed so perfectly that we now see flaws in our guest bathroom which was remodeled 3 years ago by a different contractor. Our master suite has transformed from the worst part of our home to our personal sanctuary. I would not hesitate to hire Rob Tol Construction again. In fact, we're already planning to when we're ready to start our next project. As a side note, but important to us, Rob and all of his subs were great with our dogs. so we never had to lock them away during the project.

All were taken down to the studs, so there was lots of demolition. Rob sequenced the work so I was never without a functioning bathroom. Everything adjacent to the work areas was wrapped and the floors protected. Rob and his helper were meticulous about checking all the new fittings for leaks and repaired damage from a pre-existing leak from an upstairs bathroom. Rob's original estimate was accurate and the only extras were things I asked for in the course of the job. Now that the job has been done a while I am completely satisfied.

Our job was a bit more challenging because the removal of the old fence also required the removal of a Ficus vine that covered the entire length on one side. And the old 6 foot fence had an additional 2 foot of lattice on top. From demo to finish was only four days, and the quality of fencing materials and workmanship were topnotch. As other reviews pointed out, what we appreciated most about Reasons Construction is the guys who own the company are the ones doing the work. Sam and/or Nathan were always onsite working side by side with their crew. Had there been any issues, we could have worked them out with Sam or Nathan on the spot. We also appreciated the fact that when they were done, they left our side of the fence so clean, we would have never known our fence had just been replaced. We had put off our vacation because we felt we needed to be around during construction. What a mistake! Our project was in good hands with Sam, Nathan, and the rest of Reasons Construction. The pool techs are very junior, familiar with basic pool chemical balancing. If anything is not right, I as the homeowner have to ask why (why is the water cloudy?) and the response is (shrugs shoulders) call the office and have the send a repair person out to investigate. I've been paying this company to come weekly (even in the dead of Winter when no one is using the pool) because I was sold on "we need be there weekly to stay on top of any issues." That is far from what has been happening -- homeowner should not have troubleshoot water quality issues. Dear Pool Experts, as the company that services our pool you need to inform me that there is a problem so that I can do something about it since you are unable to.
