Lalo is unreliable and unlicensed (as far as I could find after an exhaustive search). His written proposals shows a BL# and it turns out to be fake, it belongs to a completely different, unrelated company. He asks for money upfront, and then asks for more money, and then never shows up to finish the job (in our case painting/sealing our new fence that we had already paid him for). 2+ months over due and it still not done. He rarely responds to texts or calls (once he has most of your money and most of the work done). We asked for our remaining money back so we can paint our new fence ourselves since he never shows up and when he actually responds, it is to put us off yet another week, or two. I'll start by saying that I hate having to even write this but hope it's helpful to others in either a similar situation or looking avoid this situation altogether. My experience has been nothing short of fraudulent. Lalo would continuously not show up on a scheduled date or postpone last minute. Also worth noting that Lalo would intermittently request additional funds outside of the initial deposit. After nearly two months of no-shows, I requested a return of my deposit. They are hard to get in contact with. Says they will call back tomorrow, 3 days later they finally do. Parked their trailer in my driveway, demolished the old fence but left the trailer with the junk in my driveway for 4 days so I couldn't put my car away. Big mistake to hire them. I have other projects this year, I will certainly hire someone else. read more

First, they require payment up front and then don't show up. they know little or nothing about plants and ruined or killed several mature plantings, and just laughed when I mentioned it. watch out. they will stiff you and wreck your garden in the bargain. read more

We started having Lalo and his team work on our yard over a year ago and were happy with their work. But this year, the service went downhill. I prepaid every month, yet I have had to make several calls to see when someone was coming out. This July month, though I paid the last week of June, no one has come out, and I have sent several texts but haven't received any response. Last December, when Lalo's services were more reliable, my husband paid him $1000 for another yard project. His team came out a couple of days at the start of the year to work on it and haven't been back since. He made several promises to have his team come back out, all broken, and now no responses. We are saddened to see the services deteriorate so suddenly and upset about the money we gave him based on his false promises. read more

Lalo (owner) and his crew did an awesome job in removing our 30 year old fence in our backyard to installing our new horizontal redwood fence. Several other fence companies said that redwood was not available but Lalo's resources were able to find some and he was able to hold it for our project. They had to dig 26 post holes to accommodate the horizontal fence and gate and then he finished the entire 120 foot fence with a beautiful cap. (Look closely at the final fence). He also built and installed two front gates (neighbors). Then to top everything, he gave us an excellent offer to seal the fence. Lalo is professional, honest, a talented craftsman, detail oriented, friendly and completes the project as quoted. He gave us a fair and reasonable price for the entire project. Plus the price includes removing and hauling off all the old wood. My husband and I are very happy with our new fence and gate and we plan to hire him back in the Spring for landscaping our back yard and front yard. read more

I hired this company to install HIGH QUALITY artificial lawn. The quote was quite high for the amount installed. They assured me it was very high quality. They completed the job in 1.5 days. They broke several of my pavers away from the others, scraped a chunk out of the resin gravel walkway. The grass was installed very poorly and weeds are growing through it since the material is so thin. It was also cut poorly to fit in space and feels like it will come up easily as it doesn't seem fastened down very well. They also left large cardboard and wood pieces behind. I called many time and was promised they would come pick up the left over trash, but they never showed up. read more

Omg the only landscape company that answered my desperate call! Lalo is a super nice guy that helped me out right off the bat! He was busy thru October but said he would help me level my yard so could put a above ground pool in. He came out on a Saturday with his crew of three men that worked tirelessly until the job was done! Then! Without me asking a word these guys started setting up my doughboy I couldn't believe it I'm like really ??you guys are going to set up my pool too and waited to see if it was level when I started filling the water who does that ?well these guys do! Ditto to Joyce L. in Atascadero....Lalo did the same to me. Would NEVER recommend this company. Used men that didn't know how to lay sod, then just showed them how in a quick minute and left for the rest of the day. I was out there showing them the technique of laying sod (staggering) and then found out the sod was delivered a few days before and piled behind my garage and never watered. So the sod was half dead by the time it was layed..told just to "water it good, it will come back". NOT! I made the mistake of giving him most of the money for the job during the process...never again, will wait to the end and when I am happy with the outcome, then I will pay whoever is the contractor. He's a rip-off artist. He isn't even licensed, his father is the licencee. read more
