Lalo is unreliable and unlicensed (as far as I could find after an exhaustive search). His written proposals shows a BL# and it turns out to be fake, it belongs to a completely different, unrelated company. He asks for money upfront, and then asks for more money, and then never shows up to finish the job (in our case painting/sealing our new fence that we had already paid him for). 2+ months over due and it still not done. He rarely responds to texts or calls (once he has most of your money and most of the work done). We asked for our remaining money back so we can paint our new fence ourselves since he never shows up and when he actually responds, it is to put us off yet another week, or two. I DO NOT recommend Alpha & Omega Landscaping!! read more

I'll start by saying that I hate having to even write this but hope it's helpful to others in either a similar situation or looking avoid this situation altogether. My experience has been nothing short of fraudulent. Lalo would continuously not show up on a scheduled date or postpone last minute. Also worth noting that Lalo would intermittently request additional funds outside of the initial deposit. After nearly two months of no-shows, I requested a return of my deposit. After this point, Lalo failed to respond forcing the matter to go to small claims court. read more

They are hard to get in contact with. Says they will call back tomorrow, 3 days later they finally do. Parked their trailer in my driveway, demolished the old fence but left the trailer with the junk in my driveway for 4 days so I couldn't put my car away. Big mistake to hire them. I have other projects this year, I will certainly hire someone else. read more

First, they require payment up front and then don't show up. they know little or nothing about plants and ruined or killed several mature plantings, and just laughed when I mentioned it. watch out. they will stiff you and wreck your garden in the bargain. read more

After a few years we are saddened to see poor quality of work. Recently found out that his crew has not been servicing our property as agreed. Trash on the property had been left for over a month (last week checked). Unreliable. read more

We started having Lalo and his team work on our yard over a year ago and were happy with their work. But this year, the service went downhill. I prepaid every month, yet I have had to make several calls to see when someone was coming out. This July month, though I paid the last week of June, no one has come out, and I have sent several texts but haven't received any response. Last December, when Lalo's services were more reliable, my husband paid him $1000 for another yard project. His team came out a couple of days at the start of the year to work on it and haven't been back since. He made several promises to have his team come back out, all broken, and now no responses. We are saddened to see the services deteriorate so suddenly and upset about the money we gave him based on his false promises. read more

I would recommend Alpha & Omega for fencing needs. Lalo and his team were responsive, professional and fair throughout our project. We will go back to them for future projects. read more

Lalo and his crew are great and did a very professional job. 2nd review. It has been over a month and Lalo has not returned my call about picking up his equipment. This is way too long to leave his equipment. His stars have gone down because of this. I would now give him 2 stars. read more

Lalo And his crew are all great guys and do an amazing job. I would hire them again for any work that I need done.

Lalo (owner) and his crew did an awesome job in removing our 30 year old fence in our backyard to installing our new horizontal redwood fence. Several other fence companies said that redwood was not available but Lalo's resources were able to find some and he was able to hold it for our project. They had to dig 26 post holes to accommodate the horizontal fence and gate and then he finished the entire 120 foot fence with a beautiful cap. (Look closely at the final fence). He also built and installed two front gates (neighbors). Then to top everything, he gave us an excellent offer to seal the fence. Lalo is professional, honest, a talented craftsman, detail oriented, friendly and completes the project as quoted. He gave us a fair and reasonable price for the entire project. Plus the price includes removing and hauling off all the old wood. My husband and I are very happy with our new fence and gate and we plan to hire him back in the Spring for landscaping our back yard and front yard. read more

I hired this company to install HIGH QUALITY artificial lawn. The quote was quite high for the amount installed. They assured me it was very high quality. They completed the job in 1.5 days. They broke several of my pavers away from the others, scraped a chunk out of the resin gravel walkway. The grass was installed very poorly and weeds are growing through it since the material is so thin. It was also cut poorly to fit in space and feels like it will come up easily as it doesn't seem fastened down very well. They also left large cardboard and wood pieces behind. I called many time and was promised they would come pick up the left over trash, but they never showed up. read more

Took my 900 dollar deposit to put new sod in. Showed up one weekend. Moved some rocks and put in pvc for sprinklers. Guess what. No grass after two months. So I paid 900 dollars for nothing. Only response lalo says is it will be done. Asked for a refund but guess what no response. read more

Repeat customer here! We were so happy with the fence he built us, we asked Lalo to do a remodel of our front yard before the holidays and he moved his schedule around to accommodate that. We are very happy with the results and will call on him again for our next project. read more

Omg the only landscape company that answered my desperate call! Lalo is a super nice guy that helped me out right off the bat! He was busy thru October but said he would help me level my yard so could put a above ground pool in. He came out on a Saturday with his crew of three men that worked tirelessly until the job was done! Then! Without me asking a word these guys started setting up my doughboy I couldn't believe it I'm like really ??you guys are going to set up my pool too and waited to see if it was level when I started filling the water who does that ?well these guys do! Highly recommend alpha and omega! Thanks again to Lalo and his crew! read more

Lalo and his guys came and did a great job! They helped tame the crazy overgrown bushes along my dad's porch, and helped weed and clean up various garden and planter areas around our house, and laid down fresh ground cover to make everything look nice for the sale of my dad's house. They were fast, professional and friendly! Would definitely hire again :) read more

Lalo of Alpha Landscape & Fencing was working for two of our neighbors (re-build fence) at Oak Knoll Estates in Paso Robles. We noticed the quality work Lalo was doing. We spoke with him and requested a quote to rebuild a fence at our rental property in the Deer Park Estate neighborhood. We hired him and happy we did. He completed the job on time and to our specs. He does great work at reasonable cost. He is very accommodating, talented, friendly, humble and kind. I am happy to recommend him for your project. He also paints and we have a quote pending for a paint job. Edward read more

Lalo answered my Yelp request within an hour or two.As promised he mowed my difficult overgrown lawn the next day .He trusted me to mail his check from another state. He was so friendly. His price was so reasonable I gave him a ten dollar tip.He travels 45 minutes each way from his home without a complaint. read more

We chose Alpha Landscape to rip out some lawn and put down rock, as well as replacing a falling down fence. Lalo responded quickly to our call and came over to do an estimate promptly. Showed up to do the job when scheduled and did a good job for a reasonable price. Lalo is flexible and easy to work with. The best compliment I can give is to say we would call him again for any future jobs...I have already recommended him to others. read more

Ditto to Joyce L. in Atascadero....Lalo did the same to me. Would NEVER recommend this company. Used men that didn't know how to lay sod, then just showed them how in a quick minute and left for the rest of the day. I was out there showing them the technique of laying sod (staggering) and then found out the sod was delivered a few days before and piled behind my garage and never watered. So the sod was half dead by the time it was layed..told just to "water it good, it will come back". NOT! I made the mistake of giving him most of the money for the job during the process...never again, will wait to the end and when I am happy with the outcome, then I will pay whoever is the contractor. He's a rip-off artist. He isn't even licensed, his father is the licencee. read more
