We hired Gabriel and his crew for another project this year, after the great experience we had with them for our first fence installation. They are very professional, provided suggestions how to handle the fence, quoted fairly. One thing to call out is that we paid the deposit but had to postpone our installation for about 7 months out due to our house additional project. Super grateful that Gabriel can accommodate this. 7 months after, we connected again (we touch base from time to time during this period) to discuss details on the fence installation. After my initial review, I finally heard from Gabriel to let me know he'd fix the fence. Then I got a call out of the blue today to say he was 15 mins away. Fence fixed. Apparently a screw was missing. Not sure if it was there originally but it's now fixed. Communication is not their strong suit but happy to have a fixed fence. read more

If I could give more stars to FenceX, I would. They truly go above and beyond in their work, and I cannot recommend this company enough. Gabriel is responsive, friendly, and really informative in his responses. I had them come out and put up a wooden fence around my 1/2 acre property. They came out in a timely manner to assess the property, and guided us on the best materials to buy. Two workers came out shortly after to begin work. They were friendly, professional, and efficient during the fence building process. About a year or so after the fence was built, we wanted the fence to be lower in the ground because we regraded our backyard and took down a shed that was in the way. We found a small gap y dee the fence when the shed came down and worried about our dogs digging through. We asked FenceX to come back out to do that, and they were very responsive and quick to do so. They lowered the fence for us free of charge and came back out within a week to see the section behind the shed. They were sweet enough to also cut up a metal pole that was sticking out near the fence. Go with them - you won't regret it. It's rare we write these kinds of reviews but they are far and away the best fence experts in the Boston area and we can't wait to tell all of our friends about this amazing fence. read more

I had contacted this company twice to set up a consultation for a fencing project for my new home. The first attempt was through their website, where I received an email to set up an appointment. I responded back with a day that i'd be available and never received a response back. The second time I called and left a voicemail and Gabriel called me back. We were able to set up an appointment however the day of - he texted me at the time he was supposed to be at my home saying he would be late. I responded back via text asking if they could come later in the afternoon as I had another commitment and couldn't leave the whole day open. I never received a response back from him. read more

While others seemed unable to return a timely quotation itemizing the costs, Gabriel sent this by email using a secure attachment (professionalism). As I own a condo, my plans had to be run through the management company and HOA, which took time and necessitated several revisions. He provided the contractor's certificate of insurance and all documentation that my HOA required without any argument. Gabriel was patient and didn't press me while I waited for approval. Our fence had 2 posts that rotted out and fence replaced them. They did a really good good job. Came right out with good quality posts. properly dug the hole as deep as possible. Way deeper then who ever previously built the fence did. Put it in and put everything back exactly the way it was and reattached the fence to the posts well and sturdy with all the right nails and stuff. He paid good attention to detail during installation especially with symmetry and making things look even, and he had no problem answering my many questions throughout the process. Most of all, he had great customer service -- we weren't home for the walk through for the quote, so he did it over FaceTime with us. The materials ended up being delivered early by the supplier and left on the side of the driveway, so Gabriel stopped by to move them in the garage for me. On the day I closed on my first house, there was a wild storm with huge wind gusts. The day after, I went to the house, only to find that the gate doors on my vinyl fence gave way to the winds and ruined the hinges and fence doors. FenceX came down and gave us an very reasonable estimate very quickly despite all the other companies that I called that were either not reasonable with prices, asked for 100% DP or simply didn't get back to me (this was during the COVID19 pandemic). Communication for me was important because I've been duped before by paying first and not having work done by a contractor, but FenceX committed to all his promises and if he wasn't able to make it during a rainy day, he would tell me so I didn't have to wait around.
