I worked with Mike from Fensu to get a quote on a new vinyl fence installation and a few other small quality of life improvements with our existing front gate. While we didn't end up moving forward with Fensu, I must commend Mike and the team for being amazing to work with: the communication was super easy, scheduling happened quickly AND they showed up on time, and Mike followed up with the quote to my email and a referral to an electric gate installation company without me having to ask for it. Anyone who regularly works with contractors probably knows that one of the hardest parts can be getting ahold of them in the first place, and I'm delighted to report that it was not an issue with Fensu. The actual quote process was similarly amazing, with Mike explaining all of the work he was doing (such as calculating the minimum number of panels to buy and determining if changing the angles would result in less labour cost), and it only took about thirty minutes total. I received a hand-drawn picture of a fence and an un-itemized quotation for $13.6K for two pieces (20-feet) of fence for a condo patio (yes a patio folks!!) from Hristopher after Mike visited my property. When Mike visited, he showed me no styles, options, etc. Just measured. As the amount made no sense (I had obtained quotations from two other fence companies), I tried to get Hristopher to break the quotation down so I could understand what the differences could possibly be. He emailed "we do not charge per foot but per job. materials are about 45% of the total and the rest is labor." That's a lot of labor! All the other companies gave me quotations in the range of $6-7k. So, caveat emptor (buyer beware)! read more

Chris was always extremely responsive and helpful. His crew was professional, with attention to detail, and really nice guys. We needed the street facing portion of our fence replaced, so we began the search. I contacted three of the the big name guys and four more local companies. I got recommendations from my local Facebook town group and Yelp. After much deliberation, we went with Fensu for our vinyl fence and we are glad we did! First off, the big name companies were coming in at $2000-$3000 plus more than Fensu. One big name company practically hung up on me when I said I was getting quotes from multiple companies and never contacted me again. The locals gave good enough quotes. One of them didn't do vinyl, so we had to take them off the list. Another one had no pics of their work anywhere so we didn't feel compelled to use them. It was down to two and Fensu had an impressive amount of pics on their website and good reviews on Yelp. Plus, the owner Chris is the most responsive contractor I've ever worked with. Emails, calls, or texts within minutes of my inquiries. They didn't bat an eye when we changed our mind along the way. Good crew. We had a full fence installation on our property last week, and I can't say enough about the Fensu team and their work. Over the course of three days of massive work, the three-person team took out our old, rotting fence and installed a beautiful, solid new cedar fence around our home. They checked in with me when major decisions needed to be made or questions arose and were extremely sensitive to being sure that the fence fell clearly within our (rather confusing) property lines. One of the fence lines took the fence right through a favorite tree in our backyard, and the crew found a way to build the fence around the tree while taking good care of it-- making it look like a featured work of art! First let me say this, I did not use Fensu, My neighbor did. It was a bitter battle until the fence went up. Hey, when your yards are postage stamp every square inch counts. There was also a dispute over property line. The fence that went up is well made and installers were very good and respectful of my property. Besides a few eyerolls from the owner/manager (LOL) They were professional. They accidentally cut my sprinkler line and we were reimbursed immediately by the company for the amount it cost us to have it fixed. Im sure it wasn't an easy job especially given the discourse leading up to the installation. They handled it quite well. read more

We used FENSU to replace a stockade fence around our 2-family residence in Boston in March 2022. Their bid was not the cheapest, but we went with them because they offered solutions for working around a tree and a stump on the property line instead of telling us to hire a different company to deal with those things. ... It took us many months to decide on a fence company. Every time I contacted the office, my questions were answered courteously and promptly. Once we were ready, Fensu was able to accommodate our scheduling request. The crew was polite and came when they said they would. We're particular about our garden, and the crew helped us move some heavy planter things and "replanted" one of those poles for hanging plants that had to get moved during "take-down." Maybe it's nothing to the guys, but it's greatly appreciated from my vantage point. The fence materials are high-quality and it has been installed properly, so I won't need a new fence for 25 years. But to you who are looking: I do recommend these guys. The difference in price between FENSU and the cheaper guys, over 25 years is negligible. read more
