Fence Boss: WORST COMPANY EVER! They will never install your fence and will not give your money back! I have contacted an attorney and If anyone would like to join in the lawsuit let me know. I've been waiting since June 2022 and still today December, they have not installed, communicated nor refunded my money. I've asked them many times, and the last communication I was told that I was #6 in the refund list; two months ago. I've spoken with Karla (liar), Timothy (another liar), Mandy (Incredible liar). As you can see, they are all liars and just want to steal your money. It's a SCAM Company! Karla "The Liar" told me that they were so blessed that they had so much work and were very busy. However, when I spoke with Timothy "The Owner", he said that they only had $18 in the bank, they have no money and short staffed, So I said, Ok, so I gave you $1,998 I gave you to start my fence, his response was; "Well I have to pay my employees, and your are not a priority right now". So they used "MY" money to pay their employees and have not even placed a single nail in my house and six months later, still no fence and no money. Fence Boss: Worst Company EVER!!! Total Scam. I signed a contract for a fence in August of 2022 and the same thing happened to me. First the company submitted the application to my HOA for approval, they had all of the information incorrect, and it took two months for the HOA to approve the fence. The approval was given on October 9, 2022. As of today, I still don't have a fence or the refund I requested of my 50 % deposit. I went to the Florida Attorney General's website and filed a formal complaint against the company. DON'T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP!!! I would not recommend this company even in my dreams. One of the worst mistakes I have did is hiring them. I paid 50% deposit on start of January and they submitted for city permit. After that they totally ghosted me and whenever I get in contact with them, they blame it on city permit thats taking time for approval. That was a complete LIE. I called the city permit folks and they confirmed that documents are pending from fence boss to be submitted. Fence Boss uses THIS AS STRATEGY TO DELAY THE INSTALL. After multiple follow-ups (more than half the time, they won't even pick up the call) they agreed to install the fence on May 7th which they called off at last minute. Unfortunately I don't recommend Fence Boss, they gave me an estimate and I accepted by signing a contract, I even made the initial payment, then they asked me to sign another contract with a different price, a higher one, because the color of the fence would be more expensive, I didn't want to continue and sent a cancellation, which in reality would be a cancellation on their part and not mine since they could not fulfill what was promised in the contract. Now I'm asking for my money back calling several times and still nothing. They told me they would return it to me in 20 business days, it was supposed to be on last week but until today I did not receive my refund, it's been over a month. When I purchased my house last year in Haines City I was looking for a company to install my fence. I came across Fence Boss because of the flyers they left around the whole community. I called them for an estimate and they came right out and gave me one. Once a price was given and a deposit was received that's when it all fell apart. They first said it would be done once all the permits were received and the Hoa gave clearance. Then they said they were delayed because of materials. Then we got a call and said it might be a few months before they can give us an install date. That date came and went and this is when I had enough and requested a refund. At first, they said a refund would be sent within 20 days. After about a month of back and forth, we received a letter saying we would be on a list to get a refund because the company wasn't doing well and under new management. We never received a refund and recently we received a letter saying this company is filing chapter 7. What a nightmare. read more

After hurricane Ian some of the panels came down just need to be put back on one new rail. Tim came out and 3 weeks later still no estimate no response to emails or texts after awhile. Finally got a hold of some NASTY RUDE female who's now running the phone line and she is disgusting and a huge cunt. They sent me an estimate for what 3 brand new gates costs and literally had the worst stanky attitude she is rude and thinks she can talk to people anyway she wants.Spoke with Tim and he said the price was absolutely wrong he would take a look and change it no way we would pay for brand new gates when it was one gate with barely any damage. I hired them in February to install my fence. I was able to finally get my fence installed in late May. When Hurricane Ian came in I had one gate snap and the back of my fence needs to be re-enforced as it has a slight lean. I called right after Hurricane Ian they advise maintenance would be by to review and give an estimate on what it would cost. No one came. Nicole came and my other gate was out of wack. I called again and they advised they would get back to me. I am still waiting. But from Reading the other reviews I dont think they are doing to well if this they way they treat their customers. They do not answer their phones or respond to Text Messages. I will go elsewhere to fix my fence. Very Sad and bad business read more

I got an aluminum fence installed with them and overall I am satisfied with my fence. It did take a little longer than expected but after calling around just about every company is in the current times. By far the worst experience ever!!! due to HOA issues I decided to cancel project, The deposit was made and sent immediately via Zelle to the number 321-626-7944. After the issue with HOA, I requested a refund. I was sent /emailed documents to sign for a refund. They confirmed the papers and signatures and they told me 20 business days to expect a check in the mail. This was done Starting April/May 2022 I was told I should receive it by June 6th it is now JULY 14th this is beyond their policy and written in their own contract and commitment. I have emailed and called several times and each time was given a different story, they will not provide owners information and or address to business, I have had to contact a lawyer to advocate for me before going to small claims court and even AMANDA who is the Marketing Administration lied and hung on the paralegal. This company is unprofessional on all levels and should be SUED by all and each team member as well. AMANDA, KARLA CHUCK and anyone else involved. I am beyond frustrated!!! this nightmare started in July I contacted the company I requested a quote they were very fast at first I sent 50% ($3387) they sent me payment receipts they were very attentive that's how they work to catch you, then they told me they had no work staff they were going to hire new employees who were going through personal problems and endless stories, months went by they didn't give me dates for the job at the end of so much insisting they told me for December and they had agreed with me it wasn't going to take more than two months I decided to cancel with them, they sent the request, I made it, it's been more than a month and they haven't refunded the money, and they no longer answer emails, calls or messages. read more

Apparently it's common practice for this company to get a deposit from the client, make you wait 3 months because "supposedly they are booked" and then on the day of the appointment say their contractors don't want to work and they are delayed. Then their so called owner Timothy Beaver never shows his face, sends his Marketing team to do his dirty work of informing the client of these negligences. It wouldn't surprise me this company just takes our money, invests it and once those 3 months pass, they have no issue refunding you back since they probably doubled what you paid them in some sort of illegal scam. This business has an F on the Better Business Bureau and honestly with the amount of clients they have scammed, we should all file a class action lawsuit against them. DO NOT HIRE THEM. If I could give them 0 reviews I would have. I should have been more cautious and do my research before going with them. First red alert was when the guy that came to do the estimate told me my fence will be up in 45 days after signing the contract with them. Of course I was happy because the other companies were saying 90 days wait period. So on April 14, 2022, I signed the contract and zelle them $1988 half the deposit amount. I got the HOA approval within a week later and was excited that the fence will be up sooner. When I called Carla, she said the installation dept. will call me back with a date. I did not get a text back till 3days later with an October 10, 2022 installation date. I was very upset and called their office back and request an explanation but none could be given. After hurricane Nicole they called me and states the company supplies and truck was destroyed and I was number 29 on the list. I couldn't understand because it was a week later we were supposed to get the fence installed. Now they're filling for bankruptcy so we can't get our money back. where do I even begin, If this company contacts you RUN don't WALK .. we started with this company in Feb of 2022, we made an initial deposit and then everything went south. first the company was suppose to get the permits from the city they supposedly submitted the documents via mail and however we waited 2months on permits just to finally get tired of waiting go to the permit department ourself and find out the paperwork was never even submitted and they don't even except mail in the only did in person and online submissions. then we got the permit in 3 days and the company tells us they have to schedule out 4 months till august. this alone was extremely frustrating because we have a large dog and needed a fence urgent but we let it go . fast forward we are now in Aug our appointment was the 11th no show we contacted the company the day before to confirm and they stated they would be here . we were calling all day and kept hearing that they were going to call when they were coming and they never called. they kept saying that they will be here soon they were finishing another job but I knew for a fact that they were not coming at all . I requested a refund and they refund was on a freaking google doc. this company is extremely unprofessional and a waste of time and from the review I don't even wanna hold my breath about our refund supposed they have a 21 day refund policy but there are numerous people who have said they never received a refund and it's been months.
