I thought it was going to be an all day job, but he was done in just a short while. I am pretty picky, so I looked everything over very well and the job was flawless. He even offered to come back if I found any issues that I did not cause. I really like that he stands by his work. There is no doubt that if I have another paint job, I will definitely call Starr Construction. He came back and gave me a quote of $1000 for materials and labor. (It's a small mobile home that he said was a 2 day job) I gave him the total amount and he never came back. For almost a month I got one excuse after another or no response at all. I told him I wanted to cancel the job and get my money back so that I could find someone else. He said no. I am an elderly woman who lives alone and I guess he thought he could take advantage of me. I told him I would make a police report and he said that they wouldn't do anything. You were wrong Joneric! It is a crime! It's called theft and they didn't hesitate to take the report. Now my next stop is the BBB. And then a civil suit if I have to. I saved that money for years. $10 here and $20 there and I'll be darned if you're going to steal from me Joneric!
