TL;DR: terrible experience, nightmare of a dream, extremely unprofessional, low quality,…read moreunorganized, found mold in an hotbox they potentially used, but if not, why was it even there in the prep kitchen? He only cares about his bottom line. Ended up terminating contract and losing deposit but luckily found a different venue and our day was perfect. I never usually post reviews but this experience was something I couldn't ignore and feel like it's best to warn anyone considering this venue. Contrary to the what you should expect from a venue called "Love to Dream", our experience was an absolute nightmare. The venue is fairly new. It switched owners in Oct 2023. This new venue owner was unprofessional, quality of work is low because he tries to run everything himself. We went to observe a wedding and he was literally pausing and playing the ceremony music from his phone. Also wasn't sure if he checked with the couple if they were okay with us being there. He will get things done, but it won't be the best quality work (compared to other all inclusive venues we looked at). We made the mistake of booking this place first before looking at other venues. The prep kitchen is dirty - we found a tray of moldy chicken in their hotbox that had probably been there for a couple of weeks, which ultimately made us reconsider if we wanted to continue working with them. We were touring the barn with a separate coordinator that we hired because he was unpleasant to communicate with, and even she was appalled by the mold. The prep area in the barn is also unorganized and unused equipment are not stowed away from the view of guests - it's just sitting to the side of the barn. We were so fed up with his unprofessionalism and dirty conditions that we would rather lose our deposit than to keep dealing with him, so we terminated the contract. He didn't seem to care why because he already seemed fed up with us. We booked them 7 months before our wedding but he didn't reach out about anything by the time we were 3 months out. Based on my exchanges with him, he seemed to not want to answer my questions and only cared about his bottom line. As a first time bride, I just had questions about how things would be run and more clarification on what he would be responsible for. He was obviously tired of my questions said he wanted to get on a final call because he "kinda didn't wanna answer the same questions" (his actual words and that was not the case). Those who have planned a wedding before know that there's so many moving pieces that you can't possibly have just one call to go over everything. And based on his demeanor, I definitely couldn't trust that everything would get done with high professionalism and quality. The venue owner doesn't care about customer satisfaction, and you will definitely get what you pay for. I should have paid attention to the red flags. Before I booked him, we spoke over the phone about his package details, and at one point, he casually mentioned that he was okay terminating the business relationship if things didn't work out. This should have been a sign to avoid working with him. Strongly advise to avoid this place at all costs unless you don't care about quality, cleanliness, or customer satisfaction. The venue owner's lack of support, unprofessional behavior, and disregard for food safety make it clear that this is not a reliable or safe option for hosting events. Luckily we found a new venue and are so glad we didn't continue with this one. Our day turned out beautifully.

We were even more ecstatic when we finally got to meet and work with them. Cindy was very easy to communicate with and very open to learning about us and our relationship, which made working together so much more fun and personable! After our shoot, we all went to coffee together and talked about the struggles and blessings of being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Cindy is a phenomenal photographer (one of our engagement photos even won her an award!!), but she is so much more than that. She is worth giving your money to. She genuinely cares for the people she meets, and that is exactly the kind of photographer we were hoping to find. She has been a dream - thanks Cindy!!

Cindy was patient and persistent in scheduling our photo shoot around our very hectic lives. As a joke, my fiance suggested we do the shoot at a mud run we had entered. Cindy loved the idea and ran with it! The pictures of us, covered in mud, are better than most people's pictures where they are clean and beautiful in Piedmont Park. Because we loved the pictures that Cindy did for our engagement session, we opted to fly her to Mexico with us to shoot our wedding as well! Again, Cindy's shots were amazing. I wish we had known ahead of time what to expect from our Mayan ceremony, but even going in completely unprepared for what was to occur (due to a language barrier) Cindy was still able to get all the important shots! Cindy and Sharon truly became part of our family and we loved having them with us. When we came home, Cindy put together the most amazing album for us. (This may border on TMI but this was my third wedding however it was the first time I got the professional wedding album.) Cindy removes the overwhelming project of sorting through the thousands of great shots and arranges them for you with an artistic eye. The one thing I would recommend is being prepared for the album upgrade, you'll want more than the standard 30 pages as you will have too many amazing photos to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend C Brown Photography for your special event!

I want to thank Sky for my amazing photos and stop motion video of my wedding day. Not only is she…read moretalented, but she is also a very genuine and caring person. I sent Sky an e-mail shortly after my fiancé and I decided to get married in Las Vegas and she replied within 20 minutes. Within a few e-mails back and forth that evening I felt that I did not have to look for any other vendors. Prior to finding Sky, I had filled out a lot of contact forms with other photographers and I felt like none of them had actually read what I filled out. Their e-mail back to me would ask me things that I had already given information about. With Sky, she actually took the time out to read everything I wrote. She also asked questions about me and my fiancé. No one else had really done that before. This definitely set Sky apart from everyone else. I was first drawn to Sky's work because it is colorful and fun. I knew I wanted video because my fiancé and I were eloping and would not have anyone else joining us, but I did not want to have to find one vendor for photography and another for videography. The problem was that I never really cared for video, and I couldn't find any examples of work that was my style. Then I saw that Sky offers stop motion films. It was perfect. I loved how whimsical Sky's stop motion videos are. I love that she makes the wedding rings and shoes dance across the screen. I had finally found a video style that felt like me. I had only been to Las Vegas once about 7 years ago and my fiancé had never been. I had asked Sky for recommendations on where I could take photos. She recommended the Neon Boneyard Museum and I am so glad that she did. I feel those photos she took are so unique. I also told Sky that I was in love with colored smoke bombs and she helped us find that perfect backdrop. This is one of my favorite scenes in the stop motion video. The package that I had picked included an engagement photoshoot. I really didn't think I had time for one since it wasn't in our budget to fly out to Vegas in the months before our wedding date. Sky had insisted that we schedule the shoot and made time in her schedule for the night before my wedding. I am so grateful to Sky. She was in San Diego the morning of and had driven back to make sure that we had time for an engagement shoot and also that we made it to see our Cirque du Soleil show on time. Sky is super patient. I am so awkward in front of a camera! Sky would just talk to us and make me feel at ease. I am glad Sky insisted on the engagement shoot and I have a lot of really lovely photos. I am glad that I have a nice mixture of photos from our wedding trip. The day of the wedding Sky arrived to my room and was keeping track of time. I felt less awkward in front of the camera thanks for Sky and the engagement shoot the night before. Sky had so many creative ideas for the stop motion video. It was so fun and she was so patient in getting me out of my head. I have so many photos of our wedding day. Sky is very amazing and I am lucky to have been able to connect with her. My husband was so impressed with the amount of time that Sky spent with us. Everyone has been blown away by our stop motion video and our photos. Please do not hesitate to book with Sky. I don't take a lot of photos of myself because I am not comfortable in my own skin, but I love ALL of my photos from Sky. She spent a lot of time with us on our wedding day. We started the day around 7am and ended around 8pm. Not once did Sky complain. We were practically on our feet the whole day bouncing from location to location. She kept us on track and made sure that I had all the shots that I pinned from Pinterest recreated. I look forward to when I will be able to work with Sky again. You can find our photos under Tanya and Dave on Sky's blog. Thank you for everything Sky!
