The young men were very personable, polite and the price was very respectable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants great service with a price that feels fair. He came to our house the day after I called him and gave me a verbal quote which he followed up that night with an emailed quote. The next week, he arrived on time with his crew and took the trees down to just the trunks the first day. He wore fall protection while he was in the trees which pleased me as I didn't want anyone hurt. Then they cleaned up all the debris. The next day they returned and took down the trunks and ground out all 3 stumps. Then they raked the lawn and swept the driveway. The whole thing was a pleasant experience. Derrik and his crew were friendly and easy to talk to and they checked with us about moving sprinklers so they weren't damaged by falling branches. The owner said sure, and came over to give me an estimate. He said that normally they have a minimum charge per hour, but he would do it himself, and quoted me a very reasonable price (giving me a considerable break)! Ten minute later, he was over, scaled my tree, then started limbing it, to ensure that other shrubury in the immediate vicinity, would not be harmed. It turned out to be a much larger job than originally estimated, but he stuck to the price quoted, with awesome results, including pickup and grinding of all branches and the huge tree stub portion. When Shuswap Tree Service does a job, they do it right, with an emphasis on SERVICE! We would certainly use them again, and highly recommend this company. Ken S.
