Not very happy with our experience with Dustbusters! I asked them to clean just the 2 1/2 bathrooms and the floors of our house. We have dark hardwood floors, which are very hard to clean, which is one of the reasons we decided to hire someone. We have a non-toxic home, so I asked them to clean the floors with a mixture of vinegar and water. When I do it myself, they end up spotless and shiny. The bathrooms looked great after, but the floors were a disgrace. The were not vacuumed, just swept. The area rugs were also not vacuumed at all. Any small mats had been lifted up and hung over whatever was nearby, and left piles of dirt where they had been hung. One such mat was placed on my husband's clothes on the bed. Dirt all over his clothes! Because the floors weren't vacuumed before they were mopped, there is dirt in lines all over the place, and footprints. No furniture was moved, so there is dirt around all of the legs and underneath. The underneath of the bed was covered in dirt still because it wasn't vacuumed. I called them to tell them about the problems, and they began to make excuses, saying that it had to do with the vinegar and water I had them use. They offered to have the girls come and clean again but my husband and I had just spent an hour cleaning it up so I declined. I was quite upset, and almost in tears. The woman began yelling at me and telling me I was pissing her off. She said she was trying to find a solution, but really she was just making excuses. I told her that $106 was a lot of money to us, and she said it was a lot of money to those three girls who had come to clean. I agreed, but said I hired them to do a job for me... then she hung up. And she won't answer my calls now. So if you want a company that doesn't stand behind their service, hire Dustbusters!! read more
