He was given anywhere from 1 month to a year to live by a different vet around 4 years ago now. We cherish every extra day we get with him due to the meds and oversight of the vets at this clinic. It should be noted that the vet techs and front desk are always kind, personable, and knowledgeable. This clinic has the feel of a tight-knit, small business and it shows in how wonderful all of the employees are to each other and to the animals and families in their care. Recently, we had meds for our cat donated by a family who had just lost their dog. To whoever that was, thank you so much and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

I try to never leave negative reviews, yet it's extremely hard for me to give a glowing, 5 star rating to an establishment that you will be visiting multiple times; I find it best for me to start with a 4 and adjust from there, if the service is good. So, yes, it's good! Recently, my dog developed an ear hematoma, and the vet that I was going to select for him would not see him without any sort of payment. They insisted that the hematoma could wait until Monday to be looked at, when I could have help with paying for it. So we did, and they gave me an estimated bill, and I took him home, and surgery was scheduled for Wednesday. Well, he didn't wait until Wednesday. Poor hound started crying and whimpering and then I noticed some blood on his neck (this was Tuesday, btw), and when I got closer, I saw blood shooting out of the pouch. I called the vet who was going to operate, and they said they would not do anything, even over the phone, without Care Credit or Money (needless to say, I'll be revising that review), so an internet friend referred me here. I called, simply asking "can it wait, or do we have to get it done now?" By that time, it had burst again, as well. They explained that it could be done the next day, by either place, but the risk we took was it bursting while we were either gone, or asleep; which would not be controlled like when I was with him, and the result would look like a murder scene. So, my husband's paycheck direct deposit came while I was on the phone with them, so I said I'd take him out. I bring my dog out, and they were the most sweet people I've ever seen. They knew exactly what was going to be done, already had a doctor ready, and brought him back for care. The staff up front explained that if it was too much cost up front, I could elect payment arrangements. MAN, that helped! The next day, my dog had his ear drain in (I asked them to keep him overnight), and they did great with him, as temperamental as he was being. So, right now, he's on the mend. He's doing well, procedures and medicine were well explained, and so far, yes, I am happy. I hope to have a long relationship with this vet.

Still, everyone has bad days. Whatever. But today i saw someone wearing a "Carbondale Vet Hospital" T-shirt. Thats right, they cant manage to take care of animals or be a good vet, but they can sure screen print some merch!!! Opportunistic and disgusting. NEVER go to these scammers.

I called her vet today to see if we could get her in soon. They were booked and recommended we take her to Tulsa Animal Urgent care at 61st and Mingo. I had no idea we had an Urgent care for animals I looked online and the prices were very reasonable for a vet. We took our baby there last night. We got right in, no appt needed. Front desk staff both were super nice and friendly, they got out Addie all checked in and put us in a room. We were in the room only a few minutes before the Dr came in (Dr. Suzanne Caruso, DVM). She was so Gental as out Addie is such a queen (drama queen too, lol). She liked her over and then took her back to do a deeper exam with her techs. (Just like human kids, they do better without parents around). In a short wait she came back to talk to us about her diagnosis. Dr Caruso's diagnosis was arthritis which I was relieved, she did not feel we needed x-rays but did leave it up to us. I loved that they just did not do them and it cost us more if she felt they were not really needed. She recommended a monthly injection and we can come there to get it for Ms Addie. The overall moment coming in the door to going out the door I could tell they all cared about doing what was best for our little queen Addie

We brought our pup to this clinic and he was being seen by the vet in less than five minutes. She was kind, compassionate and caring. Our dog ended up with 14 stitches in his face and is wearing a cone -- for 10 days to two weeks. They gave him meds and took care to not only address his pain needs, but were also kind about our distress over the whole situation. I would HIGHLY recommend this group.

These people really understand cats and cat owners. I fully respect and appreciate them for all…read morethey do. They are all volunteers, all 40 or so of them, many behind the scenes, and they really do a great service to the community and to people who are looking for good cats. These cats will have great lives because of them. After having lost two older cats to separate, sudden and severe medical issues a few months apart in 2024, I stlll had one cat, but after some time I realized I needed one more to make my family complete. And not just any cat, one that I chose and that also chose me. I found him there, and what a nice fellow he is! With the help of the very nice volunteers I was able to apply for adoption and check out a handsome five year old cat who had no health issues, that was displaced through no fault of his own. It didn't take very long from start to finish. With patience and lots of love I am incorporate him into the family. He is a very loving and outgoing cat, to counterbalance my other sweet older one who is an introvert and sleeps all the time. The story is the "happily ever after" kind. I just can't say enough good about the people who made this all come together! So much was done before I got there to have everything ready to just add a new pet owner. I highly recommend Streetcats.
