Front door is 10 feet from the garbage room. Sent a video of the rodents and the state of the garbage room at 4pm on a Monday. They came by at 10pm on a Monday to set traps and 'clean' the garbage room. Woke up to rodents in the apartment. Sent that photo and the video of the rodents STILL in the garage room three days later. Spoke with the owner at 8:30am named "Iddo"...asked for a refund. He refused. Offered to move me to another place. I objected, offered to settle for a refund and deposit return. Calling 311 to log a formal complaint. DO NOT STAY HERE!

U check in by the pool, chairs are first come first serve, u do get towels. Drinks they have a frozen Aperol spritz which was great, nice & frozen perfect for a warm day. On the food we tried the Beachside dogs, it's 2 mini NY style hot dogs they were good comes with Chips not bad. Order of fries were decent nicely cooked , not greasy. Next time gave the Winter pool pass a try & what a difference! Pool is Heated, same deal after check in this time u get towels & a Robe. Once settled inside we headed outside to the Pool perfect because the pool was nearly empty not so perfect because it was a cold, add a windy day & the time spend outside is limited. Nice hot saunas to jump in for some added warmth. Drinks we tried the Warm me up Toddy first the Cazadores tequila reposado & the Captain Morgan spiced rum , nice & warm, good on the Alcohol. Also tried Angry orchard cider, not bad. Summer months the pool gives off a Beach club type vibe, u have good music playing & for the most part people are just hanging enjoying the day. Winter months, the pool could be 10-15 degrees hotter, a sunny day helps but the wind tends to limit your time outside. The day pass is a nice way to treat yourself to a little staycation, small pool area outside more lively in the summer versus nice & quiet in the winter. Good service, price wise on the high side for drinks, doable overall since u are paying for the vibe & comfort of the hotel. Whether u visit in the summer or winter months either way u are sure to have an enjoyable time, it does make u feel like u are on a mini vacation.

I booked a room (Studio 5) at the High Tide for an anniversary weekend trip, and it does have lovely amenities and a great location (very close to the beach). However, from 10 PM until well after 1 AM, the noise from the bar below was LOUD, making it impossible to sleep (even with using a noise machine and earplugs). I think it was a live band until about 1, then switched to a loud sound system. The bed and walls were reverberating from the bass. It was perhaps the worst sleep I've gotten in years and I was exhausted the next day. I checked out early and we cut our trip short because I couldn't deal with two sleepless nights in a row. I got in touch with management hoping they would refund me for the night I wasn't there, and they wouldn't. They said I should have contacted them to switch rooms, but I don't see how that would have fixed having a hotel above a loud bar. I wish I had read the many reviews I now see here about how loud this place is at night. If you're a night owl this place will probably suit you, but keep this in mind if you go to bed earlier.

The only drawback I've encountered is the noise from the restaurant/nightclub downstairs. I'm writing this at 2:11 AM and the music is still pounding (and it's technically a weeknight). I'm not really bothered by it, however I could see this being a major frustration for anyone looking for a quiet place to sleep, relax, or work so it's something to keep in mind. That being said, I always look forward to staying here and I most certainly will stay again in the future.
