It's like this every day. I attached a couple videos from different days. The videos are from the alley directly behind sunset barquis. Personally I wouldn't leave my dog in a place that allows dogs to just sit in their cages and bark at each other. They're all prob just freaking each other out. Just a heads up! I don't know how on earth this is acceptable.

He is so excited to go and loves to greet all of the girls working there every morning! They are sooooo nice to my fur baby!!!! I am just so lucky that I found them! If you are considering it, DO IT! You won't regret it. They feed my baby breakfast lunch and dinner, walk him and make sure he drinks water. They post Instagram stories throughout the day and send me an email "pupdate" every afternoon that I can't wait to read!!! They also do a photo shoot for certain holidays and even did a birthday post last year for sausage! I have a dachshund and when he hurt his back (not at daycare) and had to be sedated and wasn't allowed to play they put him in an enclosed area covered in blankets and would go in to give him pets. When he couldn't find the water bowl at first, they had him on a watering schedule!!!! I mean this place is unreal. We also let sausage spend the night when we go on vacation and he gets to sleep IN BED with one of the girls because that's what he's used to at home. No crates (unless they want one)!!! Samantha sends the SWEETEST pupdates with the cutest videos of him getting good boy pets and almost every time I come pick him up he is sitting on Zoe's lap! They spoil him rotten but I wouldn't have it any other way! I can't thank sunset Barquis enough!!!!! Thank you for treating my baby as well as I do!!

I've been a loyal customer for about 10 years now and I've enjoyed just about every bit of it…read more Until now. My cat pictured in my original review passed away a few years ago and after she passed I decided I was ready for a dog and along came Georgie. A goofy, fluffy, loyal Goldendoodle. His fur is on the curly side taking after his poodle genes. I've taken him to Posh for a bath and haircut several times and he's been to daycare many many times. I've never really had a bad experience. However, this most recent time was extremely disappointing and quite literally heartbreaking. I made an appointment for a haircut and bath + daycare. When I arrived I was greeted by their friendly staff as always then by Jeanine. She was pleasant and friendly but had all of these additional charges that she added on at the beginning of my service. I'll break it down below and explain. Mattes: my dog had mattes on his legs and body. I was aware and was prepared to pay the fee to take them out. Poodle feet: she said there was an additional fee to shave his feet? However at the end I didn't see any sign of poodle feet. Flea bath: because of the itching she recommended a flea bath, granted she did find 1 singular flea on him so that's fair. I also mentioned to her that he is on a flea medication. I check him regularly and have yet to find a flea. Shave fee?: additional charge to shave him I guess Cancellation fee: I live 2 hours away (recently moved out of the area) but wanted to stay loyal to Poshpetcare. Unfortunately I had made an appointment in March and had to reschedule for the following day within the 24hr window so they charged me a cancellation fee. I've never canceled within 24 hours and have been loyal to them For many years. This really hurt my feelings. I wouldn't cancel last minute and mess with someone's money. I simply rescheduled for the following day. They had lots of availability too so it's not like the appointment time was in high demand. When my dog came out he literally looked like a rat. His beautiful fur had been vandalized. It broke my heart and I just felt so bad. Like how could someone do this to him? If this was going to be the outcome they should've turned me away or shown me pictures of the absolute horror I was not prepared for. The poor front desk man knew how devastated I was. I got into my car and literally wanted to like blow up but I had to keep my cool bc I'm an adult lol. I've put two pictures below. One of his haircut done by Puppy Prom on 3rd and another by Poshpetcare. I go between the two businesses because Puppy prom isn't open on weekends and Posh is. I spent $300 for him to be shaved and given an uneven head haircut. I'm absolutely devastated. He's still the same happy pup but I just feel so bad that I did this to him. I highly recommend any Doodle owners take their pups to Puppy Prom on 3rd st. It's less than a mile away. Ask for David. He's the owner and will make your pup look like an absolute show dog. Also, everything is included in their flat rate. No "poodle feet" or "extra shampoo" fees. I've learned my lesson and do not plan to return to Poshpetcare. After spending over $12k in services over the years, my heart is broken. If you're a cat owner, I highly recommend Sabina at Poshpetcare. She's an absolute doll and takes exceptional care of your precious babies. Attention Doodle Owners!!! Puppy Prom

My dog's fur was unevenly trimmed and it looked like a rushed job, especially around the face, and he was left with severe razor burn around his genitals. The irritation was bad enough that I had to take him to the vet, resulting in a $200 bill for treatment, medication, and a cone. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be going back. I was very disappointed and expected much better care, but specially considering the cost and very generous tip.

Wolly is a 12 lb, 10 year old Maltipoo who is very social but definitely set in his ways, so we do not say this lightly: we truly cannot say enough good things about the care he received here. From a logistics standpoint, the entire experience was incredibly easy. The flexibility of drop off before noon without needing daily sign ups was a huge win for us while traveling and juggling plans. Pick up as late as 7 PM was equally helpful, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the level of service. What really stood out was the thoughtfulness around safety and care. The facility is secure and gated at drop off, and we watched staff carefully manage dog flow right at the entrance. At one point, a team member even positioned themselves between our children and a larger dog out of an abundance of caution. That level of awareness told us everything we needed to know. We also appreciated the small but meaningful details. There is a live camera so we could check in whenever we missed him. They feed dogs separately and sanitize the area afterward, which gave us real peace of mind. But the true highlight was the caregivers. The way they greeted Wolly each day, how gently they handled him, and how clearly they knew the dogs in their care made this place special. Every afternoon we received the most adorable photo of him, and by midweek he was literally running inside, tail wagging, completely comfortable and happy. As dog parents, there is no better feeling than knowing your pup loves where he is and is being looked after by professionals who genuinely care. Wag Hotels Hollywood made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Wolly. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in LA.

They have cameras, so I could peek in on her anytime (which, yes, I absolutely did). She had the best time. They even emailed me photos of her living her best life and sent home a report card at the end of the day. This is officially my go-to spot anytime I'm in the office. She gets out of the house, gets great stimulation, and I get peace of mind knowing she's happy--away from backyard boredom and the lovable chaos of my kids. Win-win.

The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

Although she usually won't let us out of her sight, she DRAGS us inside here because she can't wait to play! It also took us FOREVER to find a place that doesn't cage their pups when they stay for overnights. The room they play in during the day is the same they sleep in at night, so we don't have to worry about her being scared and destroying her teeth trying to escape at night :( We didn't understand this the first time, and it made us anxious to leave her there for the weekend, but they DO take the doggos out on short walks when they stay for overnights (they are not just expected to go inside!!) I've visited places that smell like dog pee before, and this is not one of them. Love that they're open every day, even if you can't drop off on Sundays. (I wish the hours were later at night, especially Saturdays, but I understand why they can't be!) The staff is lovely and really care about the doggos and never make me feel like a crazy person when I explain Llyka's special quirks (and my helicopter parent worries ) There are always loads of other dogs, and I'm so happy Llyka has so many options for who to play with! She's never been afraid to stubbornly tell me if she hates a place, but clearly she has nothing but love for it here! I can sleep at night knowing she's safe, being fed and watered, and cared for! I'm so happy we found our daycare!
