I get scared, and there have been times I have left in the middle of an appointment (as in literally walked out mid procedure) because no one was respecting my mouth of the pain I was in. Elite Dental is NOT a place I would ever feel scared or worried. First of all, they take state insurance, which most places don't. I'm very happy with that. Secondly, everyone is friendly and nice. (Alexia is a wonderful receptionist. She is honestly a peach and a half. You rock). Everyone there makes you feel comfortable. Third, I was not in pain. AT ALL. not for a moment. Dr. James Nguyen is a friendly, professional dentist who cares to make sure you leave with happy, healthy teeth. The last time I was at a dentist was some place in Avon 2 years ago. They had claimed I had 14 cavities and wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for fillings. I did not have money so I wasn't going about to do that. Columbia Dental had also tried telling me I had cavities too and places like those, were trying to get money out of me any way they could. Saying I need a deep cleaning and other things (I swear to god I have really decent teeth. I do not have that many cavities.) Turns out, there are such things as microcavities: beginning, superficial stages of tooth decay that may/may not turn into an actual cavity. They do NOT necessarily need to be filled because if you take care of them, your teeth can get better and remineralize from fluoride. But once you drill and fill a tooth, the damage is done. You will probably have to get it refilled down the line. The point is I only had 1 cavity. I know this because Dr. Nguyen showed me it. This place is not after money. They really are just wonderful, honest people. You don't have to be in pain for a dentist to be doing a good job. I know he cleaned my teeth, and I promise there was not a second I felt pain. Even when he filled my cavity. I did not have novacaine, I did not need to be numbed. It was quick, he was precise, and it was over in a matter of minutes. I am so grateful. I love this place. I love the dentist. THANK YOU.

In Jan 2026, I had a dental emergency- lost a crown and it needed to be replaced. I was given an appointment with Dr Manocha who TOTALLY botched the the new crown - it did not fit properly in my mouth and my partial no longer fit. She never bothered to even look at the fit once she glued the new crown in!!! I've never had a dentist not check the fit of work that they completed. When I tried to go back in the next day because it didn't fit properly, I asked to see Dr. Ctoss since I never want to see Manocha ever again. In addition to being incompetent in replacing my crown, she complained about my dental work the entire time I was in the chair. That's when I was told that Dr Cross was no longer with them. Furthermore, they would not let me see one of the other dentists for any fitting or needed corrections. That was unacceptable and I have since become a patient at another dental office. My new dentist is now having to correct the work that Manocha did and fix the problems she created.

For myself I got a few cavities filled, the next day I was flossing and a piece of my tooth broke off! I knew they would try do the same to me so I am looking for a new office. I have never had issues with my teeth like that and just the fact that this has happened to both of us within the same week is concerning. Please beware. I will be going to a new dental office and filing complaints. I'm sure there are many more issues not being heard. They should not be able to continue with this type of malpractice.
