The customer service here has a lot to be desired. I went online and placed a package on hold, when I went to pick up it was sent out. The customer service person behind counter named Ellen was rude and dry. She contacted the courier about my package but left me stand waiting with no response to whether I was able to leave. I waited and finally called out to her in her office if she was done with me. She dryly said yes and when I bid her a good day she muddled back. Very unfriendly. read more

Tried to return a package and had the fedex label on my phone. They said since I didn't have a QR code, they couldn't help me. I literally had the label. she said there was nothing she could do to help me. Looked at me as if I had 4 heads and told me to go to Walmart to do the return. I'll never return to this place. I received some packages from my Walmart order this evening. And, just as I've come to expect from the FedEx driver, my packages appear to have been thrown onto my driveway. This is more of a "heads up" to your drivers than anything else. Because, I will be installing and using my security cameras from here on out. I have to talk to someone about a problem you have at the following location: FedEx Ship Center 211 Victory Rd Winchester, VA 22602 I have a small eBay business and for 2 years I was at FedEx with boxes to ship every day. This is not an embellishment nor an exaggeration, I was literally at FedEx every day with 1 or more packages. I also used USPS, but for large boxes, FedEx Ground can't be beat. I recently moved out of Winchester to the nearby town of White Post. However, when I lived in Winchester, I had to stop frequenting the Victory road location due to a problem with one of your employees. I don't have her name but I will try and describe her: * Late 40s early 50s. * Caucasian * Approximately 5"6 170 pounds * Light brown hair. * She is a full time (and longtime) employee. The problem is: Every time I would come in, I would have to argue with her to get a receipt. She would always parrot the same lines: "just refer to the tracking number you have on eBay" "just take a picture of the label" I explained to her, on numerous occasions that the receipt is to prove to FedEx, PayPal and my customers that the package was scanned and in FedEx's possession, thus making FedEx responsible for it from then on. This receipt is very important for my partners at eBay and PayPal. Surely everyone knows this. * receipt [ ri-seet ] * a written acknowledgment of having received, or taken into one's possession, a specified amount of money, goods, etc. Well, she not only refused to print one she was arrogant, angry and condescending when I insisted that I needed one. It was exhausting. I've owned and operated several businesses over the years, and I am used to dealing with a wide variety of people. I try to be patient with the less than motivated crowd. After several run-ins with this horrible woman, I finally gave up. I drove 20 miles to a different FedEx (remember, this is every day) just so I wouldn't have to deal with this ogre. Tonight, after having stayed out of this particular FedEx Shipping center for over a year, I stopped by to drop off a package: December 07, 2020 5:11:39 PM is the time stamp on the receipt. Guess who I ran into? My nemesis, the belligerent FedEx women screamed at me then left me in the the lobby and just went on about her business in back after yelling at me that "We are not giving receipts. Just drop offs." I had to wait for 15 minutes and even then, she argued with me until I thought I was going to have a stoke and die right then and there. You have a real problem with this employee. I think she has mental or emotional issues: Seriously, I don't mean that in a flippant way, she is unstable. So, just in case you think it's just me and maybe I'm over sensitive, please see some of the Google Maps reviews from this location many of them mention a very rude woman. I have been waiting approximately 10 days for a package it has purchased at the end of November, the original delivery date was slated for December 10th, the package was delayed -two and a half days ago it was set to deliver on Friday (the 17th) and was greeted later that evening at 6:27 PM: Delivery exception: Customer not available or business was close which a total lie, if they did so, where is the "we missed you" sticker or note on my door? There wasn't one, I reached out this morning to six or more support agents all of them refused to let me speak with a supervisor regarding this matter however two gentleman (out side of the first six) promised that the package would arrive today before 4PM and once again it did not arrive...I'm now being told it will be here Monday at the latest when I'm leaving on holiday which is when the package is now going to arrive. TL;DR: FedEx Ground is a mediocre service that delays packages and lie, customer service doesn't try to help they only give empty apologies and make notes that end up ignored. read more

There is more than enough room to turn around on parking pad at the bottom of the driveway, but they consistently leave everything at the top of the top. And the packages whether big, small, light, or heavy are placed in such a way to block driving up to pick them up or just over the top to be run over. I have tried to contact and explain but to no avail. I am done with FEDEX. I will patronize companies that do not use you. read more

I hate using fed ex in this area. I always have problems with them NEVER knocking on my door when I'm home waiting & just leaving door tags instead of actually seeing if someone is home. FedEx fuuuuuucking sucks. FedEx drivers can't even read numbers. They continue to leave packages on the wrong porch.

I ordered over $1000 in car parts and when they delivered my parts, they left them outside of my apartment building. Amazon never does this as they deliver to the doorstep (as expected) and even send you a picture of where your package(s) can be found. Thankfully I had incredible neighbors who were kind enough to bring them in. I am extremely disappointed in their service in comparison to Amazon. The employee who delivered that day is obviously incredibly lazy and incapable of doing a decent job. I understand packages can be heavy sometimes but that is absolutely no reason to leave outside an apartment building. I will always order through Amazon from now on whenever I can help it. read more

We went to the Winchester office and there is a big sign on the door about not going in without a mask. Two men were inside the tiny, tight space without masks, so I waited outside. Another unmasked person came and went in in front of me. Still I waited. Finally everyone left and I went in but one of the morons who was there before came back because he left something and just barged right in. That was the only contact I had so if I get COVID I will be suing FedEx. The woman behind the counter was apologetic but she was hamstrung by FedEx Policy that does not allow her to deny entry to unmasked people, so DO NOT TRUST FedEx. Go elsewhere. read more

Repeated problems with FedEx in this area. The status does not meet the reality; it is often off by a day or more. They left a package in the rain when 2 more feet would have put them under the overhang. Today they dumped my package (and other peoples packages) around a bunch of mailboxes, unprotected, in the open and far from my home. read more

simple issue, two packages 5 days apart same size and weight, same address on both, second one gets here by date first one should arrive however, the first one has not arrived according to tracking they could not find the address twice two separate days. The only offer to fix it before shipping it back was to make an 80 mile round trip to pick it up is their nearest location even though the tracking info says its at the local city sorting facility 0.6 miles from me. Absolutely horrible experience. I went during business hours during the week. It was well after lunchtime. The place looked closed so I looked for another one and before I finished I seen her open the door let somebody out. I was parked right in front of the building I open my car door to ask her if they were open and she slammed the door and flips the lock. I don't recommend anyone ever use this FedEx location. In the future, I'll do everything possible to avoid using FedEX!. Your customer service reps and station managers are completely unhelpful. When I set-up the delivery schedule I was told by the agent (Kim at 800-218-6640) that the driver would call me ~1 hour prior to arrival so I wouldn't have to hang around the house from 0800AM to 0800PM. When I called today at ~1201PM to confirm that my shipment was on the truck because I hadn't heard anything from FedEx or the driver, (Hector at 800-218-6640) I was told that drivers do not call prior to arrival. So which one is it, do they call or not. I was told by Gloria the station manager at Winchester, VA that she would contact the driver and get back to me with an ETA. That was over 2.5 hours ago and no update. You guys are as bad as the cable companies to expect people to waste their valuable time waiting for a delivery between 0800AM and 0800PM. read more
