In the past I have had some very pleasant dealing with people at this location...Today there was a women that I got upset with who told me outright..I cannot give the information to her and said I should have done it all online alreay. I was appuald and upset. This is the third time she has done this to me. I said I would complain and she saif her name is 'Donna'. Middle aged, caucasion, reddish hair about 5'5". From reading the reviews, it appears I'm not the only person who had issues with her. FedEx, this person lies to customers, does want to take shipping information and should not be dealing with the public. I will %100 connect with corperate on her. I've have an ongoing problems with FedEx delivering packages to the wrong town. I live on Susan Drive in Saugus, MA, and there is also a Susan Drive in Lynn, MA, only a few miles away. Yet at least once a month, FedEx brings packages meant for the Lynn address to my home in Saugus. This has been happening for a couple of years, even though both I and the woman who lives at the Lynn address have called FedEx to report it. The shipping labels clearly say Lynn, but the driver still delivers them to Saugus. Today they even dropped off a box of oranges that was clearly marked for Lynn. It is not my responsibility to fix FedEx's mistakes. I shouldn't have to call the other customer and wait for her to pick up something that should have gone to her home in the first place. The shipper paid for correct delivery, and FedEx isn't cheap. What makes this even worse is I don't have this problem with Amazon, UPS or the U.S. Postal Service. They charge less than FedEx, yet they manage to deliver to the right address. If UPS and USPS -- both more affordable services -- can consistently get it right, why can't FedEx, which charges more, do the same? Both of us have reported this to FedEx If their system still points drivers to the wrong town, that's a serious failure on FedEx's end. I'm honestly fed up with dealing with this over and over. What seemed to doom and gloom at the Lakeland Park Drive FedEx was completely transformed by a woman working there named Greta. She went above and beyond to help me and despite the fella next to her she was trying to mentor, she saved the day!!! She deserves a raise and a promotion!!!!! Local delivery based out of this center is poor. They never deliver to my company but instead leave packages in a publicly accessible lobby in our building. Drivers are lazy and don't deliver to the individual offices. UPS delivers to our office suite. Today's package was incorrectly addressed by the shipper/vendor. Floor 2 was added to the label. We aren't on that floor. Instead of looking at the building directory or calling me they called the package undeliverable because "we were closed". As for delivery to my home. They leave packages in front of the garage door where you are more likely going to damage the package or your car. They easily could deliver next to the garage door opening or on the front deck. The drivers do what's easiest for them and clearly don't care about how well they do their jobs. read more

I received a package from FedEx that was last handled by this ship center. It was left out in the rain. Contents are completely damaged. Does this happen in the shipping world? Sure. Is it forgivable? Perhaps. But consider this- there is a DRY enclosed mail room no more than THREE feet away from the drop site. During a torrential downpour. Whoever delivered the package needs to be fired. I called FedEx and they claim no responsibility and state that my shipper must send another, as they were authorized to leave it without signature. This apparently saves them from any light of COMMON SENSE with how to handle cardboard and tape in moist conditions, and where is appropriate to leave things. read more

Absolutely deceptive, liars at this facility. Had a package coming Fedex overnight (Friday arrival), guaranteed deliver by 8 pm the following night. Was home all day sitting 5 feet from the front door. Driver absolutely lied and said they tried to deliver it. I have 24/7 video footage of my house proving they made no such attempt. No door tag left. Miraculously the package made it from my house to the FedEx office in 5 minutes. It's a 25 minute drive. Now they say they can graciously deliver it on Monday. I will never use FedEx again. The Peabody distribution center lost my package,but never informed me, nor called me as promised to keep me updated on any progress. First, you have to tell them that you didn't get it even though they know. You have to keep calling to get any info, then they go dark. A lot of excuses and ultimately no results. read more

I called 3 times first time was this morning as I am not familiar with Fedex. I made sure to tell them where to bring my package as normally i get my shipments through the post office. So i am waiting and waiting for my package. second time i called i got hung up on in the middle of the conversation. 3rd time I was told my package was delivered and sure enough they left it outside. Lucky for me one of my neighbors saw the package and brought it inside. My instruction were to ring my bell and to bring my package to me at my apartment due to thefts in the complex. but instead they left it outside in the snow, without even ringing my bell to let me know the package had arrived. that is after I had left them instructions to ring my bell and bring package to me. this is the first time i have ever used FEDEX and it will also be my last time. messages apparently were not given to the driver either that or the driver just didn't care. not sure which. I should consider myself lucky that i got the package at all. From this point on I will tell the people I do business with to not used FEDEX . I always have used the local post office and they are the best. read more

Bring small package in to ship Fedex standard. Simple enough... Not. Associate says that she needs to retype out my shipping bill and measures my box. Associate... Is the address correct? Yup. That will be $210. What??? Me... I went on the Fedex site and it should be in the $40 range. Associate... You must have looked at a letter or simple pack. Me... I'm not paying that. Please find a less expensive way. Associate... Looks like I typed in the wrong box dimensions... "Sorry about that". In the $40s after all. Inexcusable sloppiness. I actually had a very good experience at this place. Kinda sketchy location. (As I never been here before) but other then that I had a good experience. The lady there (don't know her name) was very nice and helpful. She helped me get my product in the box and was very understanding that I was new at this sort of thing. They certainly milk the "weather" card to justify great delays. Paid over $60 for overnight letter. Didn't get here as scheduled because of storm. Understandable. Next day, gorgeous sunny day, roads are all cleared up. FedEx bothers to call and advise letter will get here early per high payment. Over 3 hours late. It's the weather. They will decide "at their own discretion" when weather cannot be used as excuse any longer. No recourse! Next time, regular mail, why bother? They should stop bothering people with automated calls which are pointless and inaccurate and instead make those calls when service is disrupted to let customers know. read more

Can't do a no star rating. Horrible customer service. Closed my Fedex accounts and will not be using them again specifically because of my experience with this location. Had multiple customer service and customer advocacy reps try to talk them into doing their job of delivering my package, but to no avail. Be warned, if you have any kind of delivery instructions, they will not be followed and attempts to discuss the situation will simply be met with "no" or hang ups. I just had a bad experience with FedEx. I was supposed to receive a package. FedEx driver came early on the day of the delivery. Left a notice. I left a message asking him or her to drop it off at a location that handles FedEx. He came the day after and left me a message that if I wanted my package I had to go to Peabody, which is half an hour driving from where I live. I do not have a car and can't go to Peabody. I called FedEx, I asked if the driver could come after 6:30 pm, I was told that the driver was going to stop by at 8:00pm the day after. No one came. Called spoke to someone in charge. Said that he would arrange everything so I can have my package the day after between 10:30am and 12:30pm. 3:00pm no sign of FedEx. I called again, spoke to someone in charge again. Was told that my package was out for delivery and I'm supposed to get it by 5:00pm. I went online to track my package, and I found out that my package was NEVER out for delivery. I called again spoke to someone in charge, and that person said that yes the package was never sent out, they still had it at the location, and the best thing he could do is to deliver it himself after 5:30pm on that day. It's 5:32pm. Will see. All that is taking 5 days. FedEx is hiring people who do not know what they are doing. Every one is telling you a different story. They promise you things just to get rid of you. I had to talk to around 5 people to maybe I'm going to receive the package today anytime soon. I had to be stuck at my place for the entire day today. This is the first 5-star rating I have provided on any site, ever. I always feel like top ratings should be reserved for service or products that go above and beyond. Which is just the reason I am providing 5 stars here today. I knew I would be cutting it close needing a package delivered only a few hours prior to an important meeting. First, the driver resolved having the wrong address on the label and correctly found my place. But I missed him by about ten minutes and came back to see a "missed delivery" tag on the door. I couldn't wait until the available pickup-at-facility option after 4pm. I was able to get Larry from the shipping center on the phone and he very graciously made arrangements so I could meet the driver and receive my delivery. There was really no effort on my part. I felt both Larry and the driver went above and beyond to make sure I got my shipment when I needed it. Thank you very much! read more
