I made my reservation online through SelfStorage.com. It was quick, risk free, and easy. I was only disappointed that this facility only allows you to hold the risk free reservation online for one day. But once I was in the office, it sounded like they can extend that once completing your contract. Their prices are reasonable, the site seems very secure, safe, and clean. Safe part of town. Haley, their front desk manager, I believe, was INCREDIBLY friendly and accommodating. She has fantastic customer service and genuinely seems to enjoy her job and care for her clients. I feel very pleased with my decision to rent here. Thank you Haley for everything! She deserves a raise!!

I ordered 6 U-boxes for our move this past June. They arrived without issue when expected. We…read morepacked our belongings and the boxes were picked up and put into storage at the Elyria U-haul as scheduled. I paid for a moving company to pick up the u-boxes and deliver to my new home, as we stayed with family until our new house was ready. However, I am told somehow the "order for box pick up at Elyria was canceled." I am told this happened on the Toledo end. When the movers went to Elyria to pick up the boxes, Elyria had no idea about my order, pickup or if my u-boxes were even there, as they did not have record. The movers had to wait for 10 hrs in Elyria for that u-Haul store to find my boxes, unload them into a 26' truck and then have the movers drive to my new house. I had to pay the movers for their time spent doing nothing at the Elyria store ($2,000) because they were still on the clock waiting for u-Hail to remedy the situation. I paid the movers to pick up the boxes from Elyria, drive to my house and unload the boxes and bring into my house. My husband and i were forced to unpack a 26 ft u-haul by ourselves when we paid someone else to do it, but they couldn't complete the job because they had been working 12 hours already because of u-hauls mistake. A Spencer, who identified himself as the owner of the Toledo store called me and informed me i would be getting a refund of $2250.00. I have not seen this refund, nor have I had any further correspondence from Spencer. I have called corporate u-haul several times telling them my experience. I did receive a partial refund of $500 from the Elyria store. I have yet to hear from Toledo or Spencer and have called and left several messages. I have also emailed the company. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT USE U-haul U-boxes!!!!!!!!!! I also tried to return unused, new packing supplies i purchased from U-haul online that were extras and was told i could not return them to them to the Toledo store because "they were bought online" even though i had printed off the online receipt and handed to the manager there. Unbelievable. Unprofessional. Ripoff. Never again will i use u-haul.

Reserved a unit for $64 ended up being $84 a month. The last month renting from them the rate was randomly raised to $133 without notice. Was told something was sent in the mail never received. Called to terminate my rental & understand the price increase. Management hung up on me 2 times with no solution. I then proceeded to escalate my matter with no response after being told someone will reach out in 24-48 hours. I waited and waited I finally reach back out and the district team lead Alexis Myrice claimed she called Which I never received, was super rude and disrespectful on the phone. I wouldn't recommend 0/10
