What a breath of fresh air this FedEx place is! I've been here a few times to ship packages and the lovely ladies that work the front desk are genuinely nice and helpful! They work very quickly and efficiently, so I've always been in and out in a matter of minutes! The last few large shipments I've made have been significantly cheaper to ship via FedEx than UPS, so lately brown hasn't been receiving my business. The FedEx 800 number was unhelpful, but the actual sort facility helped track down my package! They are going above and beyond. It's easier to deal with on a local level. If you get a run around from the 800 number, have them give you their local phone number. read more

Horrible customer service. Couldn't pull off a deliver for 2 day shipping, then holds my packing for afternoon delivery after I complained. This is the absolute worst place to do packaging. I am a FedEx employee. My 80 year old mother wanted me to help her send a package so I took her to FedEx because I work for the company! The moron manager would not wait on me till every customer in the store was taken care of because I was an employee of the company. If a new customer arrived, she'd push my package aside and make me wait further. After about 15 minutes of this, my 80 YEAR OLD MOTHER got tired of waiting so she had to go sit in the car. After another 15 minutes of this treatment I finally walked out. I went to the UPS store in Strongsville and was treated like royalty. I understand that I am getting a measly discount, but being treated like that is completely unnecessary! I'm still a customer! Go to UPS for your shipping, don't use a company that treats people like this, employee or not!!! read more

Absolutely ridiculous!! I ordered thousands of dollars of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. Had a delivery time from 9-3. At 2:45 called and was told they were running 1-1 1/2 hours late. Unfortunately I could not wait. The next day I called to have the package held because I was in a different office. They said they had to get the shippers permission. So another 10 minute phone call with the shipper and I was assured I could get my package. That once again was not the case. After working my 10 hours I went back to FedEx and since my government issued drivers license didn't have my business address I couldn't get the package. Keep in mind the product is on dry ice. Once again I called the shipper and they guaranteed that I could pick up the package the next day because they sent a fax to fed ex. Once again, after an 8 hour work day, I went back to fed ex and once again they said they said they couldn't release it. Ultimately I called the shipper and they once again sent notification, this time via email, to the fed ex office. They still gave me a problem because the shipper had to put the address on my license in the email. This is the WORST policy ever and I will not use Fed Ex unless I am forced to. Came here after leaving UPS. I received amazing customer service! The woman was very helpful and even boxed my item up with me. I had tried going to UPS because they were the closest to my location, but after having them tell me it would be $196, I turned around and came here. Not only was it a more pleasant experience, but it only cost me $59! I would highly recommend FedEx to anyone who is looking to ship larger items! read more
