Bank overnighted a new card to home. They took 1 day for F to respond and never apologized for sending the package to wrong location. They advised me to go to a residence some doors down to get my package since they delivered it to the wrong location. Usually, the delivery system personally corrects their error. I'm disappointed and dissatisfied with how they didn't own up to their error. read more

So I don't usually yelp, never have had a bad enough encounter to where I needed to, but what the fuck! We ordered something that was glass (box says to handle carefully) but the dumb useless person that I assume can't read delivered our box today and it's pretty small, and my girlfriend heard a loud thud and by the time she went and got the package the delivery guy/girl left. Upon opening the package, all excited we were left extremely disappointed to find our item broken and in pieces due to the lack of knowledge to handle a simple task such as delivering a box. read more

I'm firmly convinced the only other reviewer of this place has never been to a blue-collar environment before. This is a shipping center! A small bay with a few trucks that are to deliver things to our homes. The slip of paper can be signed and left on our own doorsteps for the driver to pick up as they deliver the package the next business day! It is not a Nordstroms, it is not a fine restaurant, it is a shipping center! With that being said, it is a nice extra service that they have a place where we can pick up our packages if we are in such a rush we can't wait for them to operate according to normal protocol. I have had to go there twice in the last few months and the worse occassion was better than I expected, and this time it was a great experience! The place is in a far off pocket of town because we live in a small town with a tiny airport that the packages fly in and out of. All the upperlevel education is at the other end... in no way FedExes fault. My visits: First time was to drop off a dead phone. Some drivers were making jokes and the young lady who helped me was kind of paying attention to them, but when I said I had never dropped off a package there before she assisted me. She did not dote on me, but she helped me ably. This time I came to pick up a package, a very important package... otherwise I would have signed the slip and waited until the next day for it to be on my doorstep. He was very friendly and when I began opening the parcel in the building he reached over and said "let me help you." I agreed, handed it to him and he nimbly sliced it open without damaging anything (box included) and handed it to me. I looked and pulled out the contents and smiled "ALL GOOD". At that, he asked if I wanted him to trash the packaging or keep it. I chose to keep it so he picked up all the excess, took my parcel, and rewrapped it for me so it looked as good as new. I really don't think he had to do any of this assisting, he was just very friendly. I really appreciated it. OK, so summing up: 1) in a corner of town that is hard to get to due to the growth of our town in recent years 2) a blue collar shipping center, not a fancy place where you expect pampering, 3) still adequate or exceptional service, 4) trying to do other jobs at same time. I don't see a reason to knock them. I would recommend them highly and leave my attitude in their 'small parking lot'. read more

Very disappointed in how this company including the Merced station handles lost package investigations. This Merced Fed-Ex driver did not pay attention to the address on my package. Because my house address ends in a "1" he left the package 2 houses from mine which also ends with a "1." My security camera shows the driver never stopped at my house. Fed-Ex asked me for a description of my house after I opened the case. What for??? If the driver never attempted to go to the house where he left the package at. You need to train your drivers to READ the full address. Now I have to contact my shipper to get my money back and go through that inconvenient process. read more

Believe the other reviews on this place. Horrible customer service. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I didn't have a good experience there. The location is out by the airport which is fine, but the girl at the counter was very unhelpful bordering on rude. It bothered her that I was there trying to FedEx an envelope. read more

I live in a rural town in CA and my driveway is a mile long dirt road. I have tracked my package since I ordered it from Glendale, NY. On the day after I ordered it I looked up my tracking number, I got a delivery day and the delivery time was by end of that day. It did come exactly on that day before the end of that day. I am very impressed by the FedEx company and the delivery driver was so nice and kind. I was afraid he would not find my house because of the long driveway. I thought he may turn around but he found my house!. I will use them for all my deliveries from now on. read more

Well, parcel ex Walmart, email from Fedex saying delivered at 8pm!! I was in all day, NO DELIVERY..absolutely abysmal follow up by Fedex..They promised driver would contact me - never happened..Final outcome they don't care what happened, as long as they get their shipping fee.. New Driver at the merced facility quits at 3pm when normally it was 5:30pm so for all the businesses that dropped off their packages at end of the day or closing in hopes they'd go out the same day are pretty much out of luck. To think I used to think the local UPS hours of operation/drop off time of 4pm-6pm were weird or uncommon. Now I'm thankful! UPS until they get a new driver that can handle our local needs read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! So, I ordered a textbook online. Unfortunately, I wasn't home when the FedEx guy came; therefore, I got the slip to go pick it up at the store. My boyfriend and I had to drive all the way across town to get to the store. It was by the airport and parking was small. When I walked through the door, there was no one there. It was open for 15-20 minutes already and there was no service. I was pretty upset because I had other things to do and I felt like it was a complete waste of time. My boyfriend and I waited for a good 5-10 minutes until someone came to the counter to help us. We rang the little bell and everything and still this chick took her sweet time getting to us. She gave us dirty looks and a snooty attitude, which I totally didn't appreciate. I finally got my book and still said, "thank you" to the chick. She didn't even say anything. What kind of customer service is that? She had the nerve to roll her eyes at me when I really didn't do anything to her. Hopefully, I won't have to come back to this store ever again!
