It has not updated since and I still do not have a package on 3/24. Im now finding out theft and lost items are extremely common here. Have had a package from Verizon sitting here since last week. No scans at all except when it got there. Spoke with Adrian at Fedex after speaking with no less than 10 indian folks with very common American names all with no understanding of how shipping actually works. Adrian was very nice and said he is looking into it. He and others have made calls to the hub, and to the numbers listed for management there and no one answers the phone. Literal black hole for packages. Filed a complaint as well as a claim and nothing so far. read more

My package is several days late already and service is terrible. They've been saying its due to inclement weather, which on one hand is understandable until you consider having received shipments from Amazon, UPS, USPS, and even DHL during the same weather. I've gotten 4 separate "estimated delivery dates and times" none of which were met and in each case the package was several hundred miles away and obviously not marked as out for delivery on the day. The website is virtually useless and the virtual assistant is completely useless. Customer service, while having my tracking number, has been of no help and just keeps repeating it will arrive "soon". Soon is defined as minutes, hours, days, or even possibly years so which is it? My package has been sitting in Hutchins Texas for about four days now and in an email about a case ticket, with my tracking number in the email, a customer service rep actually asked me if I have received my package yet. What was once a great logistics company has gone downhill and everytime I see a package heading my way via FedEx I cringe. Utterly useless and checking the company profile shows how vested they are in DEI, maybe try hiring qualified personnel and you can get your reputation back on track. For now, I recommend using any shipper except FedEx because its one failure after another with this company. read more

Fedex Hutchins, Texas is where packages go to get lost or significantly delayed. I've never been to Hutchins, Texas. I have no idea what it's like there. I only know that when a shipper ships by Fedex and it goes through Hutchins, it will be delayed or it will be lost. They are batting 100% on that. Maybe it's bad management. Maybe its bad employees. Maybe it's both. But I now deliberately choose a shipper other than Fedex (and of course USPS) when I have the option (which typically leaves only UPS) primarily because alot of the packages that come to me through Fedex travel through Hutchins, Texas. Terrible location. I'd love to hear someone with a different view. Because I can say 100% of my packages that have gone through Hurtchins have been either lost (only a few to be honest), or delayed (which is almost all of them). Fedex needs to do an audit on the Hutchins, Texas location to find out what is wrong there. Because there must be lots of things wrong. read more

The odds of getting a package once it arrives at the Hutchins facility is very low. I never receive about 25% of my packages once they go there. Alot of times they will end up in Mesquite or Forthworth when my residence is 10 miles from the Hutchins location. read more

I have a package that has been "tracking" at this location since 11/13/24. Package was shipped EXPRESS and was scheduled to arrive on 11/13/24. The tracking number states the package is on the truck with the driver Jeremy. It is now 11/17/24 and NO ONE can give me an answer as to where my package is at. Ordered a computer on Amazon and they said delivery date was Tuesday. The package doesn't get to FedEx Hutchins til 8 that night. So I got a notification that it would be delivered Wednesday 1030 to 230 then changed to by end of night then changed to Thursday but when I looked at the details it said not attempted delivery due to operational delays then changed to weather delays. It was a sunny day and I'm 20 minutes from that location. We'll it happened again. Out for delivery 1030 to 230 then by end of day now says no attempt made due to weather but fedex express was able to delivery to a neighbor. Called customer support they said it will be delivered tomorrow prioritizing since I've been delayed twice for no reason so I'm still waiting and hope my package isn't a wreck when I do get it. read more

This company is trash. Shit on the customer but takes your money. I sent a package from California to Texas Saturday May 13th, was told it would arrive on Monday the 15th. It is now Tuesday May 16th and they're telling me that it will arrive Wednesday May 17th. This is a very sensitive package and it's unreasonably delayed. Next time I'll use UPS. I'm sure they'll "absolutely positively get it there overnight"! FedEx...you fucked up big time on this one. read more

I just moved to an area that this shipping center services and this is by far the worst courier service I've experienced in my life. I live in a gated community which the courier uses as an excuse to mark my packages undeliverable. I've given instructions on the gate code and the drivers just decide to ignore them. And FedEx customer service is no help either. Twice I have had to drive to the shipping center to pick up my packages that I paid next-day delivery for. It just seems like a case of lazy, unreliable people not wanting deliver packages. read more

I've been waiting on my "overnight" phone for days. It requires a signature so I have been home and expectant. I have a video doorbell and no one came by. No one left a door tag to let me know they'd attempted delivery. After the delivery day was complete and it was obvious I had been overlooked, I drove an hour round trip to their facility because I need my phone. The update said I could pick it up if I went over there between 7-8 PM. The clerk was so busy wrapping up for the day. he dismissed me and said there was no way he was willing to look up my package for me. They have too many packages and its too much trouble. He said I couldn't use any phone or computer on the premises to look up the tracking number myself, and he was unwilling to do so by my address or name. Really? I can log into FedEx myself and easily get all that tracking info IF I HAD A PHONE, but the clerk standing there with a computer with FedEx's own system is unable to look it a package? I am headed back over there again this morning before they open and someone will give me my package I already paid for. I'm not sitting by the door waiting another day for a package I paid extra for overnight. This makes 2 hours round trip for me for an overnight service for a package I already paid for. Give me my stuff. DO BETTER. read more

Absolutely horrible never fails if a package goes through Hutchins FedEx there will be a delay. If you have a package that requires signature you will waste a full day waiting for them and you wont get a delayed alert until the end of the day. read more

12/17/20 - whoever the guy was working this evening around 7pm should be fired because he was awful, rude and doesn't really care about FedEx or its customers. I tracked my package and received an error message that my address was wrong and undeliverable (my building uses a 3rd party delivery service that Amazon and UPS have no issues with but for some reason, FedEx won't use them). After speaking on the phone with FedEx Customer Service and the shipper about changing the address, they said the package could be picked up at FedEx. I called and confirmed which location and they told me it was at Irving - so I drove to Irving and when I got there, they told me "No, it's in Lancaster" The guy at the FedEx Irving was so nice and helpful. Told me the address and that I can get it there. But the guy at Lancaster he just didn't even want to try. "Yeah, it's here but you had a wrong address so they didn't send it. It's in the back going to Irving tonight, you can get it in Irving if you want or just wait for it like you're supposed to". So of course, I ask if I can get the package since I'm here and I just drove 30+ miles from Irving to get it. His response "Nope" that's not their job and then he proceeded to tell me the exact opposite of everything customer service and the other FedEX rep in Irving said and when I tried to talk to him about what I was told and how I have been driving all over TX for this because I'm flying the next day he looked at me and said "I'm not going in circles with you, we're done" and then tried to bad mouth me to another customer. I'm guessing this location is where they place the not so bright employees. I hope I never have to go there again. Better yet, use UPS. Back the BROWN! read more

I received a call earlier today letting me know my package will be here for me to pick up from 7pm-8pm. I left work in a hurry at 7:30pm arrived here at 7:48pm just so a rude lady can scream at me as soon as I walk in and say "if you're here to pick up I can't locate your package". She did not take the time to tell me why. I had to ask questions and she responded to me in the worse tone ever!! I work in customer service and that would never be tolerated nor acceptable. I had Fed EX deliver a package to my home on Saturday May 29. My yard was extremely muddy. The driver drove off the driveway and got stuck in my yard for 2 hours until a wrecker pulled him out. It caused extensive damage to my yard. The van's back wheel was buried 1/4 of the way. I have called FED EX 8 times to get a resolution. I am told that they will call back. They never do. My husband is 78 and cannot do the repairs. I have pictures proving my statement. I only want my yard repaired. I am not asking for a fortune. FED EX customer service is a bad joke. It is impossible to get through the answering machine to speak to a real person. I had two agents hang up on me after putting me on hold for over 8 minutes.
