They only drove to my mailbox slapped a tag on that no one was home, and they did not even go up the driveway! And every time I talk to anybody all I get is I'm sorry someone should have been there! I've been at home for the past 4 days. Got a call this morning that 3 attempts were made to deliver my package despite no fed ex truck ever pulling into my driveway. My tracking update did show a picture of them in my neighbors driveway once with a small dog facing away from the truck. Mismanagement at Horseheads NY Fedex. Have had two packages from two senders drop off tracking completely and promised delivery dates are long gone. First one was due to 'many people calling in sick' which caused the back up. I was told they could hold it and I could drive there myself and pick it up! your package will sit at this facility 100% of the time sometimes for weeks. I've had packages ship across the entire United States in 4 days only to sit at this facility for over a week. Thousands of dollars in damaged product. Contact customer service and if your lucky they'll tell you they will submit an inquiry with this location and call you back. You will never receive a call back. So many people are let down by this delivery site I just have no idea how they are even open! FedEx is the worst at delivering packages. I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but it makes me. I ordered a package on black Friday and it's been almost a month and I still haven't received it. It coming from PA to NY, it shouldn't take this long. I looked at the tracking and it was in Horseheads, NY then sent back to Clinton, PA when it was already shipped from there once. FedEx is the absolute worst delivery company out there. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping online...no package has been delivered on time that came from FEDEX...I live in a senior apartment complex and when I just checked to see why my package didnt come today, it shows it was returned to Horseheads because the business was closed or I wasnt available...both lies. Our complex has an area for deliveries to be taken...I am calling both companies I bought from and requesting they NOT use FEDEX. I am sure FEDEX would hate losing Wal-Mart and Christianbook.com as customers. read more

Never found. 3 overhangs on the house and garage and they leave them where? Assuming by the mailbox again. Instructions are clear. Leave under the garage overhang. Multiple deliveries left at the end of the driveway, in the snow, at a neighbor's house, and most recently at the end of a driveway to an apple orchard. How hard is it? Worse, they report to Amazon that they delivered it to my front porch. read more

My package arrived at this facility on a Monday it is now Friday and my package has still not been delivered. The scheduled delivery date has gone by and now the tracking does not have a delivery date. This has happened so many times. We stopped our misfit food delivery because the food would sit at this facility until it was rotten. If anyone has a phone number for this facility please share. If I could give this location a 1/2 star, I would. Two months in a row I have waited for a package delivery on Saturday and then as we reach the 3:00 hour, I get an email saying they were unable to deliver and will deliver on Tuesday. Then I sat here all day Tuesday because the package needed a signature, and about 3:00 I got an email saying that they had tried to deliver but no one was home! No one knocked on the door, no one left a tag saying they'd tried to deliver. The absolute worst service I have ever experienced. Run away.....use some one else but not these guys! read more

Absolutely the worst delivery service to the Burdett/Hector, NY area. Packages reported as delivered and not, or delivered to the wrong address. I would sooner drive to pick up my own package than have them deliver to me. read more

This place is worthless. My business is open weekdays 8-5 and 8-4 on Saturdays and by 9 am they have a notice stating they were unable to complete delivery because we are closed. This has happened for months. We are a retail business, so there is most definitely someone here. I've updated delivery instructions on our FedEx profile months ago to let them know to deliver on Saturdays, but apparently nobody reads that either. I've called the 800 number for this problem multiple times and they are also worthless. They can't contact the local building or give some excuse that they don't even see where an attempt was made to deliver, but tell me it will be delivered the next business day. My opinion, we are 40 miles from there building (not my problem) and the driver is too lazy to drive to us if they don't have another delivery in the area. Most times my shipments aren't that critical that I need them on Saturday, but sometimes they are and I get tired of people not doing their jobs and then lying about why the delivery didn't happen. If I didn't want Saturday delivery, I'd use UPS. Which I may request all my shipments from now on are delivered by UPS. They're more reliable. read more

The result of common core education in New York State is fully on display with this company. I had a package spent from Directv that was dropped off at the wrong location. Did the driver have a problem with reading? Numbers? Or just lazy? Bottom line, it's very sad that this company would have employees with such low abilities. In the last several months I have orders arriving by Fed Ex. Every time my packages are put on the truck out for delivery, the truck literally drives right by my house into my neighborhood, delivers to a neighbor and drives out without delivering my package. Upon calling Fed Ex I am always told they are behind in their deliveries and couldn't deliver it, so it was taken back to the fed ex center, unloaded and re loaded the next day for delivery. Fedex engages in deceptive practices. Pkg sat in their facility for several days. I called Fedex to have it delivered and was promised it would be the next day. Called the following day- nope, they can't deliver it. So they lied, and apparently are OK with holding packages for many days for no logical reason. I had a scheduled delivery today that needed to be signed for and if I wasn't home to sign for it they would attempt to deliver it three times. The problem is they won't tell you what time they are coming, only that it will be sometime between 8:00am and 8:00pm. So, I wasted an entire day waiting only to find out late that it was never put on the truck and they will get to it tomorrow. Which means I waste another whole day tomorrow waiting! UPS and USPS is set up so we can see where our packages are at all times when they are on route. In this day and age of gps and texting why can't FedEx accommodate their customers in the same way. I might add, today is Valentines Day and I gave up my plans to sit here and wait for a package I had every reason to believe was being delivered. Add to that the fact that I was supposed to be getting free delivery on this package but it has just cost me two days!!!!
