They called with an ETA of 915, at 945 I called to see where they were only to find out their truck broke down, waited to get it towed, have someone pick them up and head back to get a new truck. New ETA was an additional 2 hours, over 3 hours of their scheduled time. No one had the decency to call me to tell me this. When I told them I understand things happen (Ie car issues), but would have appreciated a phone call so I was not waiting for 3 hours, the owner called me and was inappropriate. He was yelling, stating that they had 10 other jobs that that and are simply NOT coming to move me. Oh, not to mention they took the deposit. Extremely unprofessional, with what sounds like malfunctioning trucks. Do not waste your time.

They accepted the task and made it happen. On top of the performance, they called to confirm pickup, called an hour from the destination, and called to confirm delivery once it was made. A pleasant interaction, and did all and more than could be asked for! Will use again when the opportunity arises.

I first called on Metro Delivery to bring over a Cost Plus World Market couch; they showed up in the scheduled window and carried it into the room still boxed, which made things easy. Next up are some storm windows, which would have fit in my last car, but are just barely too large for this one. Scheduled-for-the-future delivery is pretty cheap; prices go up as you get into same day, 4-hour, or rush orders. Bit of a niche business, but it's a niche I need --- I'll be back.

They are way more affordable than the larger companies in the area and I enjoy supporting a small business. They even offer a service where they will pick up furniture/appliances you purchase from a store that doesn't offer delivery or delivery takes to long. Definitely give them a call!
