Their mistake ended up with me paying the cost and package returned. They wouldn't even refund me!

While I was scanning my returns, an employee interrupted me to tell me to use the poly mailer bags, even though I was already using the exact type and size that she was handing me. I told her that's exactly the same one I was using. She seemed hesitant to believe me. After I completed my return, received my receipt, and i went to the counter for help with a larger return, as there was no poly mailer bag big enough, and the machine instructed me to do so. After approaching the counter, the same woman yelled that I needed to exit the kiosk and couldn't just leave my return "up." I explained that I had already completed the transaction and had my receipt. Then she wanted to know why I need help instead of using the kiosk. I told her the kiosk itself instructed me to go to the counter because there wasn't a mailer large enough for my item. There was no reason for the entire experience to be so confrontational. I have used these machines before. I was following the instructions provided by the kiosk and simply needed assistance with something the kiosk couldn't accommodate. A little patience and basic customer service would have gone a long way. I was embarrassed to be spoken to like this In front of other customers.

Fralley Electric

Fralley Electric

Based on recommendations and reviews on NextDoor, I have been using Fralley Electric since we moved…read moreto this area about 10 years ago. I am really happy with their responsiveness and service. They were just here recently to handle about 5-6 items that had been accumulating on my to-do list and didn't disappoint. I've used them to install outlets and ceiling fixtures, diagnose & fix a problem with a chandelier (switch needed replacement), replace 2 fixtures flanking the front door and one over the garage, discuss outdoor lighting for security purposes and install a motion sensor over the garage (they had the fixture on hand). My husband also wanted heating in a tiny, frigid bathroom we had. He brought in an electrician who recommended installing a small baseboard heater for $300. I knew the bathroom was too small even for that. I went over this with Fralley the last time they were here, and they explained that, in addition, a baseboard heater would rust within a year (we have a steam boiler which doesn't really go with baseboard heaters anyway, although a prior owner put some in the house). One of the techs went out to pick up a fixture that would work and they installed it as soon as he returned. It's a ceiling fan with light and an option to make the fan distribute warm air without having to replace the switches. As I already knew, there wasn't enough power to support a heater in that part of the house, and they added a circuit (or whatever it is). These fixtures use a lot of power, and the one they installed is energy-efficient, which was a nice bonus. Last, one day a branch from a tree on our property fell onto a power line and caused the cable to detach from a neighbor's house, which disconnected her from the grid. Scott helped me immediately, first explaining whether or not we had to call the power company or fire department. A couple of techs came out right away and reattached the cable to my neighbor's house. I paid for it, of course, and the price was much lower than I expected--not that I had any idea how much these things cost. I wouldn't use any other electrician.
