The guy says "that's fine if you don't believe me." Then I called to get a copy of my receipt and confirm the card used. I was transferred 4 times because I guess it's easier for them to transfer me then say "I don't know let me ask." 5th time, they finally said accounting where I'm on hold now. With this in mind, my cross-country moving experience with Dodge/ Mayflower came pretty close to perfection because of my moving coordinator, Cindy. To be frank, my movers came about 2-3 hours past the scheduled time slot (because of a larger-than-anticipated move they had before me). When they arrived though, they did not rush me and took great care to wrap all of my furniture. A quality control manager was with the two other movers and he took the time to answer all of my questions and oversaw everything else. Cindy called me throughout the day to make sure that my movers had arrived, and when they didn't she tracked them down and kept me updated, and then made sure everything went smoothly. Even though it took two weeks to receive my items, Cindy gave me detailed updates throughout this period. On drop off day, true to form, Cindy continued to make sure that everything went smoothly. Cindy made me feel like I was her only client and that my happiness was her success. She never said "no" to me and when something seemed difficult or not within "the rules," she always had a solution ready for me. Given the terrifying reviews for the moving industry in general, your moving coordinator is really the key to ensuring that you have a smooth transition.

They were on time, polite, great dispositions, and very good follow up to let me know they were on their way. Once they arrived and introduced themselves, Devon asked to see where the mattress was to be placed. When he saw that the entrance and stairs to the second floor were going to be very challenging, he told me that they would do their best but that he couldn't promise that the matters and boxsprings would fit. They did struggle a lot but being very careful not to knock into any of the chandeliers or damaging anything. After they got the mattress and boxsprings up all the twisting stairs, they set it up and asked for me to confirm all was well. I asked if they could move it around and over a foot or two and they did without complaint. Thank you Scott and Devon for your hard work and great can do attitudes!

I recently moved into a new apartment and decided to use POD services for what I expected would be…read morea straightforward move. I booked my POD delivery about a month in advance. Initially, I wanted to rent a 12-foot pod and received an order confirmation for that size, but the only available units for rental were actually 16-foot sizes. My price was adjusted accordingly based on my initial confirmation. I had hired movers to help me and needed the pod to arrive beforehand. The schedule that I received from PODS stated the pod would arrive anywhere from 12:15 and 3:15 PM, which perfectly aligned with the time I scheduled my movers. However, as the afternoon progressed, the estimated arrival window was pushed back to 1:45 to 4:45 PM, with the POD ultimately arriving near 4 pm. During an already stressful time, I expected the estimates provided by PODS to be accurate and trustworthy. When I called the numbers listed on their website for assistance, an automated message explained that while these timelines are estimates, they can and likely will change. The POD arrived about 30 minutes after my movers, and it was picked up a few days later. Karl was the driver and was friendly and courteous. While using the POD itself was easy and helpful for my move, the logistics of ordering and receiving the POD significantly detracted from my overall experience.

They will find a way to get their money and the bank won't let you dispute it. I was charged almost double what I was originally told and charged to my card getting more charges. They are impossible to deal with and customer service manager was the most grotesque attitude. Do yourself a favor and Just rent Penske because we have never had an issue and they are always ready to answer questions. And if pods wants to question me again I'll add all the emails and contracts they made us sign.
