They moved from 20th St tto 19th St. Service was somewhat fast. What I didn't like was that I was returning a pair of Nike's but they were not put in a bag to seal them. The worker gave me packing tape to seal the box, stating the box would make but the sneakers probably wouldn't if the box wasn't closed. I hope my return isn't lower because the box would be damaged by the tape... Wish they would have put it in a bag. Otherwise, service was good. read more

Checked my order this afternoon: The idiot who was delivering my package arrived at 2PM WHEN I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED 6-8PM WHEN I WILL BE HOME TO ACCEPT THE DELIVERY!!!!! My experience with the Brooklyn FedEx shipping center was incredibly frustrating, and that was largely due to the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Tiffany. After my phone and wallet were stolen, I relied on FedEx to deliver my replacement phone. I called customer service five times and was explicitly told I'd be contacted via email only--the number on file was temporary and no longer active. Instead, Tiffany, the manager, called the wrong number and never emailed me. No one told me I'd need the tracking number either, so I showed up at the shipping center and was turned away. When I asked to speak with Tiffany, she refused to come out and sent an employee instead--who told me she had yelled at him about the situation. Whether it was a communication failure or just a lack of care, the result was the same:Tiffany failed to take responsibility, failed to communicate appropriately, and couldn't even honor a basic request to send an email. Tiffany's actions--or lack thereof--worsened an already difficult situation and wasted my time and energy. I hate that I had to give a star in order to start this review. FedEx has me so frustrated over the last few days. I am moving my daughter to her dorm and paid for FedEx to ship the larger items to be delivered within 2 business days. Not only was the pick-up person extremely rude and belligerent but the packages were at the FedEx facility here in Bklyn for a full day. After inquiring as to why this was, no one could give me an answer that made sense. The customer service employees are not trained to deal with real life situations. They are professional but all they care about is positive feedback on their survey. I plan to file a claim for a refund because I am beyond disappointed. I've shipped pkgs with UPS without issue but decided to use FedEx for this shipment because the service was cheaper. I would going forward continue to use UPS. FedEx has lost me as a customer. This is the worse Fedex Office in the USA. My delivery is "out for delivery" once, twice and so on.... and they do not deliver. The funny part is that they send a picture to proof that the address is "close" and it's showing nothing. They always say that they attempted to delivery, but it's all lies. Best Fed Ex EVER!!! We showed up at 8:20 am to pick-up a venomous animal. They open at 9:00 am. They raised the gate to let us in at 8:30 am. Our package still had not arrived, but they looked up when it would, and informed us it would be there within an hour or so. They offered us a seat and some water. I was floored at this point. Each time a new agent would come to the desk, they would ask us if we needed help in a friendly manner. All the employees were very attentive and the place was clean, the supplies were adequately stocked and neatly arranged. My only complaint would be the location of the actual office. It's located down a street which clearly does not get a lot of foot traffic and it's right by the water. At night, it must be rat central over there, but in the morning time, it was fine. Around 9:10 am or so, the agent informed us that the truck would be there within 5 minutes. Once the truck arrived, she went out to search for our package and brought it in. We were out of there 5 minutes later. I thanked them for the great service, and we were on our way without any fuss or hassle. It was a great experience! I've picked up similar packages at other Fed Ex locations (primarily the one in Maspeth) and each time it was terrible. There's no waiting area. You have to line up behind a closed door within a non-temperature regulated stairwell. It's crazy hot in the Summer and freezing cold in the Winter. There are barely any supplies in the displays, the rugs are filthy, the place overall is dirty, and the people are clearly bored with their jobs. read more

I dropped by here on a Wednesday morning (half an hour after opening) to drop off my two packages. The location itself was pretty out of the way, especially if you're walking. You don't notice it at first because you assume it's strictly a FedEx warehouse instead of a shipping center. The inside of the place was about the size of a doctor's waiting room, with a line already being long. This place is just for shipping your package or picking one up. It's NOT a FedEx Office location where you would find printers and stuff. The interior is all gray and the counters look exactly like those at an airport check-in. There was only one woman working when I came in and she was noticebly stressed. It didn't help that there were 2 customers who were picking up packages that started yelling at her for not doing her job right, which I found completely unnecessary since she wasn't in charge of the giant warehouse in the back where there must be millions of packages. Eventually, I finally got to the counter and they promptly took my packages. I arrived with a pre-paid label, so it didn't take long at all. The line made the wait seem like an hour. If you're looking to drop-off or pick-up a package from this page, come in the afternoon when it's usually empty. The best times to come here are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 11 am and 4 pm. Other than that, you would end up waiting for a long time. read more

THIS EFFING FEDEX IS THE WORST! I ordered a tv from Walmart on sale and they sent it through Fedex, it made it to Brooklyn ok but it never made it out. The tracking number cut off and finally after days of hounding FedEx, they admitted to Walmart that they lost it. Walmart then called me and issued a refund but because the tv was on sale, it sold out and I couldn't get another at that price. Fast Forward 2-3 weeks. I found another tv that I liked but this time, through best buy. My unfortunate luck, they too used shitty FedEx to deliver my tv. Once again, it made it to Brooklyn ok and then had a whole bunch of issues. This time, they refused to admit that they lost it but instead decided to lie and say that they attempted to deliver it three times! Did I mention that I ordered the tv for my poor mom who stayed home for days waiting for the tv to get delivered? I mean, the poor old woman was even afraid to get in the shower in case she missed the damn delivery. FedEx had the nerve to say that because they had attempted to deliver it 3 times that they were going to send it back to best buy, I called best buy and let them know what was going on and guess what? IT MAGICALLY GOT FOUND AND DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY! I can't figure out if the workers at this particular facility are just incompetent, have sticky fingers or both. Hands down, the worst shipping provider in the area. Whoever drives my route is irresponsible, lazy, disrespectful, or all of the above. It's gotten to the point where if an order is being shipped by Fedex I know that I'm going to have to watch like a hawk, and call customer service multiple times just to have a chance to receive my package. I live in a standard apartment building. My apartment has fully functioning buzzers. My instructions clearly state my apartment number and my last name. I will get notes about packages being left at the side door (which I don't have). The packages will be non-existent. Myself and/or my wife will be waiting for valuable packages that need a signature, and no one will buzz. I'll just get a notification that the recipient refused, and they will try again tomorrow. I'll follow up with Fedex customer service, and they say they will leave a note. The following day, the same problem will occur. The solution given is indirectly sign. I can barely trust the driver to put my packages inside the building. I will not leave something of value up to chance to be left on the street and stolen. UPS is able to deliver with no issue. Amazon is able to deliver with no issue. USPS is able to deliver with no issue. Everyone, aside from Fedex, is able to deliver with no issue. Any attempt to contact and rectify the situation falls on deaf ears because of the continued incompetence of this location's driver/drivers. I've never done anything to these drivers personally. So, I can only assume that this level of nonsense is a reoccurring theme with many people in the area. read more

Packages marked as "on truck" just so you can wait there all day until they backfill the status to "delivery exception" Driver cursing you because you refuse to accept a package that's arrived broken. I have never had such consistently terrible service from a place of business (and that includes rude waiters, crappy hotels, and even the Post Office!) in my life. Last year I was supposed to have a dress delivered last minute for a wedding. I stayed home from work just to be there to make sure I didn't miss it. At some point during that day, I checked the tracking code out of curiosity - and they claimed to have made an attempt at delivery! At first I thought my buzzer must be broken, but after a few more experiences I am convinced that they lied and are just too lazy to actually do their jobs. The dress was never delivered, even after I called Customer Service and they assured me a second attempt would be made that day. Instead, they sent the dress back to the sender and I had to scramble to find something to wear to a black tie wedding in less than 24 hours. A nightmare. Just last week, my boyfriend was supposed to get his new iPhone 6S in the mail (woo hoo!), but after a failed first attempt at delivery, this too was sent back to the sender. They didn't even try to deliver it a second time, even though the tracking number said they would. He had to call Verizon and cancel his order. Then, this week, I was supposed to have a necklace delivered to me from a friend across the country. A first attempt was made while I was at work and - sensing a pattern - I went online to request to have the package held at their location for me to pick up. I figured "just keep the package where it is and I'll come get it - can't mess that up, right?" WRONG. After my tracking number revealed that the package was still "not ready for pickup" 2 days later, I finally called FedEx. Guess what - THEY HAD SENT IT BACK. They even had the gall to claim that they tried to contact me but couldn't. When I spoke to someone at FedEx Customer Service they saw that my phone number was there, so they lied about that too. WHY EVEN BE IN THIS BUSINESS IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH? IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING? I am infuriated and afraid that I won't ever get my necklace back. Wish me luck. This has been my all-time worst delivery experience, which is saying a lot given that I typically get a few packages delivered each week. Mess up #1 - I came home on a Thursday evening to two door tags, one marked for an attempted delivery Wednesday and the other on Thursday. The one marked for Wednesday wasn't there the previous day; my girlfriend and I exited or entered the buidling a twice each between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, so it's nearly impossible we missed it all four times. Presumably, somebody got lazy and pretended to "attempt" delivery and never showed up. Mess up #2 - I couldn't even look up what package these slips were for--or even whether the were for the same package or different ones--since neither one's "Door Tag Number" matched any record on FedEx's online system (it's around Christmas, so we're receiving a few per day, and I'm sure they're too busy to scan them into the system the way they're supposed to). Mess up #3 - Both slips had the "Another attempt will be made" checkbox checked, so we signed the box "agree[ing] that FedEx will not be liable for any loss or damage that results from leaving this shipment" and left both slips affixed to the door. But on Friday and Saturday, nothing. Mess up #4 - Friday at work, I get an email from the sender while: "FedEx have contacted us because they are having difficulty delivering your package" along with the helpful tracking number, so now I actually know what package this is. FedEx's website says it's being held at this facility and (contrary to the door tag) no delivery is planned, but both sources suggest the package would be available for pickup M-F after 5pm. So on Monday after work, I take the subway a couple extra stops, walk across the Gowanus Expressway, entered the Sunset Industrial Park that houses this place, and give the guy at the counter my tracking number. He brusquely replies, "we sent it back to China". He also hands me a slip/receipt. Mistake #5? - when I finally get back home otherwise empty-handed, I see that (a) the slip supposedly corresponding to my package has some other guy's name on it, and (b) the FedEx website indicates my package is still there rather than on its way back to China. Mistake #6 - given 5(b), for what it's worth, I submit a request to pick up at another location just a couple miles away from the first one. **One week later**, FedEx still indicates this package hasn't moved. In my experience, no updates for a week typically means they lost it. read more

Bad location. The reviews are true. Very lazy and disrespectful employees. Long lines, almost a comical level of unprofessionalism.

This is the worst service I've ever dealt with--there is ONE person, "helping" the customers and there are clearly more employees in the back. I get it, there are deadlines to be met and when the truck is there to pick up you have to have everything ready to go, but when there is a line of more than 5 people, someone should come out and work at one of the 3 computer stations, to aleviate the situation. I also don't like when businesses do not have a direct phone, which this location used to have--now the Fed Ex corporate line does their dirty work instead. read more

Super shady. I took the day off of work the day my furniture was supposed to get delivered. They never came, said it was coming next day. Took a second day off, spent all day watching the window for fedex, and kept checking status online. Eventually the driver said he attempted to drop it off which is a complete lie. They didn't ring the doorbell, call, or leave a note. When I called customer service, they said maybe somebody stole the mystery note. Obviously the driver never stopped by. Dont know what type of business model these shipping companies in Brooklyn have with package pick up, but this FedEx location needs to get it together. You have a big package that is going via Fedex. Your choice in Brooklyn is have it picked up and take a day off from work or break your back carrying it to one of the close local "will ship Fedex for you" places. If you have a car though, this is your only option as it has actual parking. Staff is slow to average, but you don't have to worry about getting a ticket for double parking, so it is a wash I suppose. read more

Literally got into an argument with a driver today. I avoid using FedEx at all costs but sometimes something ships to me through them without my control. They do not ring your bell and just automatically leave a door tag. How do I know? I work from home and am home every time they've claimed they have tried to deliver. My bell works. I step outside to find a door tag. If you call customer service and raise an issue they will redeliver the same day. Over recent weeks the driver has done this to me multiple times and most recently lied to my face about ringing my bell. Thankfully that was the last time I'm using the vendor that ships through them and am so fed up at this point that I will never knowingly allow someone to ship something to me via FedEx. I was expecting a package today and stayed home all day so I wouldn't miss the delivery, just to receive a notification of a delivery exception stating no one was home!!!! Tomorrow is Mother's Day and this package is a gift. I called Fedex customer service within 20 minutes of the notice to advise them of this and to ask that the driver be contacted to come back (by the way if the driver really attempted delivery why is there no door tag downstairs???) the agent indicated that he could not reach anyone at this location (during business hours really??). I am so disappointed that I sat here all day for this, messed up all my plans and for nothing!!! The assistance I received was no help and did not fix anything. The driver made no attempt to reach me or use the virtual doorman; maybe he was in a hurry to go home to make his wife or mom's Mother's Day special, while disregarding Fedex customers' special day!
