    The pick up is going down as I pull up and they won't take my box.. saying it won't ship tonight - told me to take it up the street

    We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 4 Great convenient location! They have all of the service options here. Nice size operation with supplies available for purchase too. I visited yesterday to drop off 2 small boxes. As I was pulling up the FEDEX pickup guy was there as well so I knew my timing was just perfect. Long story short, i run inside with my boxes only to hear that they could not take my boxes because the drive had already inventoried his truck. I pulled up as the pick up was going down and they won't take my box.. saying it won't ship tonight - told me to take it up the street. I was just floored... so i drove 10 minutes up the street to take my boxes. I guess one tip would be don't show up within the last hour of the business being open or you will run into issues like I did.

    I had a terrible experience with this company and with their customer service staff…read more I am a graduate student and ordered 500 business cards in November. They arrived in January. I expected some time between ordering and delivery but two months is kind of pushing it to the extreme. But that is not my major issue. When the cards arrive they had what I approved in the proof AND the words "Title 2" and "Title 3" printed underneath my name. I opened the box to see if this was a misprint on the displayed card, however it was on all 500 cards. I called the customer service line and a woman named Donna told me the electronic error that occured (the system timed out and it added the text back that I deleted) but offered no sort of solution on how to fix the misprinted cards. Her advice was basically, put in the order again. I asked if I could be charged again and she said, "yes!" My response was, "why would I use this service again when you messed up the job the first time?" She did not respond. If this error happens enough for you to be able to tell me how it happened I feel as if the website should be tweaked or add a final proof step at the end after you enter your card information. Donna said that the proof is saved as a PDF and goes to print without any sort of quality assurance. My school recommended this service to me and my Fellowship students so I asked if they had any input on how to deal with the misprinted cards. They had previously worked with the company so I thought it would be good to ask them to call on my behalf. They called and a man named Joe was extremely rude. He attempted to insult my intelligence by blaming user error and was yelling at the end of the call. This service needs to re-train their customer service staff (or just hirer nicer people), revisit their quality assurance process and think about how small things become big things.

What does that mean? It means I am amateurish at best at layout/design, but Joe in customer service, as well as the art department, do a great job at having my back and pointing out anything that needs attention. Quality is exceptional. There's always a few people out on the loading dock lending a hand. Absolutely love working with this company, I definitely recommend!

    The difference between this UPS Store just off I-40 exit 276 in Durham and the other UPS store…read moreclose to me, Meadowmont in Chapel Hill, are the hours. This location opens and closes one hour later than the Meadowmont location: 9:00am-7:30pm, Monday-Friday and 10:00am-5:00pm, Saturday. Both locations are closed on Sunday. If I need to go to the UPS Store after the Meadowmont location has closed for the day, I will come to this one. (The Fordham Blvd location in Chapel Hill has the same hours as Meadowmont.) I came here and dropped off a bag of used Nespresso pods to be recycled. The bag had a prepaid shipping label on it. The UPS Store employee gave me a drop-off package receipt (standard). During my visit around 4:30pm on a Saturday, the store was busy with a socially-distant line outside and everyone mask-compliant. There were two employees and only two to four customers inside the store at a time. The employees were polite. They worked fast and efficiently. This is UPS Store #5399. It's sandwiched between four businesses. The parking lot in front can get congested. I suggest parking around the corner on the other side of Mattress Firm. It's much easier to pull in and out there.

    For the last eight years, I've handled preparing and printing award certificates and officer…read moreinstallation certificates for my organization. I've always been able to go to Staples and get them printed same day - even while I wait. This year, they wanted to put me off four days so I had to look around for someone who could do the job same day. Minuteman said they could definitely get the job done for me so I drove all the way down to South Durham to get the job done. While I was in the store there was confusion about whether they could do it or not - one guy knew what was going on and another, presumably a manger, didn't. It took some time before they finally agreed to go ahead and print the order. I was told it would take an hour and that there would be a rush fee. No problem. I was called back a little less than an hour later and told everything was ready. When I inspected the certificates I found that four had some kind of ink mark on the edge of the paper. Apparently, the one and only person capable of doing the work had just left for their lunch break. I was told if I wanted them printed cleanly I'd have to wait at least another hour. Bruce - the manager - told me he didn't want them to take the rush job because mistakes happen etc... Either take the gig or don't. If you take it, do it right. Don't make excuses when you don't. If you do make mistakes, offer compensation or do something else to make it right for the customer. I paid fill price plus the rush fee and four of my certificates are not to the standard I want to present. Apparently, they couldn't really care less about it.
