Message went unanswered. Sent an email, finally got a call back and referred to yet another doctor who doesn't take my insurance. Called back and left a message that has so far gone unanswered. It's been about 2 months at this point. It's not like I am in pain or anything. Oh.. Ill just take some advil and use lidocane as recommended. Totally needed a doctors advice to take some OTC crap... like I didn't think of that. These people don't give a shit about you or your pain.

The pain would happen all timed of the day and night without warning. It was so bad that it would wake me up in the middle of the night. I was also experiencing headaches that were piercing and no joke!! I was referred to Dr Raiszadeh by Worker's Compensation who related he was the best in the business. I, of course was skeptical since it was Worker's Compensation saying so. Well, let me tell you something, I am 110% with Worker's Compensation!! He performed surgery to fuse C3 to C7. This was major spine reconstruction surgery!! A very complex procedure required extraordinary skill and patience. I was extremely fortunate to have Dr Raiszadeh. He was thorough from start to finish making very clear what needed to be done and he sprang into action knowing the significant risk to my health and safety this injury presented. I can't thank him enough for his challenging surgery. The after care, like anything else he does was phenomenal as well. I highly recommend him to anyone suffering the way I was to go and see him!! You'll find that he really cares about his patients...he'll take expert care of you. By the way, as complicated as my surgery was, I retained full range of motion! Also, the scar on my neck used to access my cervical spine is no longer visible!! What does that tell you!! Surgery happened in March 2018. I wrote this review in September 2018. Don't wait any longer, Call him now!!

No efforts in communicating with patients. It is my first appointment with the clinic. I was…read morereally thrilled to visit this new clinic as it was for me. I arrived on time, checked in, and because the front desk lady said because I was also on my phone when I was checking in she skipped me. She said because I was on my phone. I was not rude to her at all, and yes I was on my phone, but even though I was on an important phone call from social security disability administration office which I'd been waiting for over a year for. As I mentioned, because right before I walked into the office I received the call and was trying my hardest to not be rude to either party, I decided to keep the phone close to my ear and respond to the disability officer as promptly and politely as possible. When I directed Myself to the front office assistant, I said hello, did not disregard her questions, and was professional to her. Right before i walked away from the window at the front desk, I told her I'd be right back, it seemed to me she heard me. I ended up walking outside because the gentleman was asking me for some information I had to give him for my claim in the car, which was right outside, when I came right back in she told me she skipped me because she thought I'd left. I did Mention to her I had told her I'd be right back, she looked a little upset at me and told me three different things as I was trying to tell her my situation. 1st reason for her dropping my appointment-You left., 2nd., you were on your phone.3., I did not tell her that I'd be back. She went on to tell me the doctor had a meeting at a specific time and she cancelled my appointment due to all of the above. She didn't even provide me the time of day to explain to her my situation. She ened with telling me she canceled my appointment because I was on the phone very rudely she answered as if she would have gotten attended because I was on my phone when I was communicating with her. I know it is rude for me to do that, but I do know how to multitask and I am professional. I too am a professional woman just because o was not behind that window and I was a patient during this encounter, I still provided both parties with the upmost respect and time they deserved. I was given the option to sit and wait for the dr to finish his meeting and then he would see me. I said that was okay. Granted if he had a meeting and they had to cancel my appointment for his meeting, I did not step away from the office not even 10 minutes for them to cancel my appointment, nor did I receive a citrusy call to see if I was okay and if I was going to yet be seen. There were no efforts in communicating with me at all. This is my first initial appointment and now I don't even know if I want to continue seeing them. I will give them another chance hopefully my entire time here is not the same every time I visit. I will be hopeful and pray that this was just a terrible misunderstand and miscommunication somehow. I truly understand if he had an appointment after me, I just wish they would have made me feel like I was an important part of their community as well and given the same courtesy and kindness so we could have established a most respected relationship. Hoping for the best. If not I don't have many options here in the Imperial Valley though if I do continue to have these problems I will take it up to the agency who provides medical care and medical staff, as well as for looking for a new dr elsewhere. Wishing for the best!!

Unprofessional and unreliable…read more It took the staff here over a month to schedule a followup. They seem to have either lost my original paperwork or were simply to lazy to get it, but either way I had to fill out an entire new patient packet upon returning, which I regret doing. Obtaining basic documentation such as visit notes required multiple attempts. The notes were incomplete and required revision when I finally acquired them. Unable to perform basic services such as referrals. Ive been to several physical therapists due to chronic injuries I've sustained during my time in the military, and this is easily the worst I've ever seen. Yuma is about an hour away and I would happily spend the time to drive there rather than go back here.

I am more than satisfied with the Physical Therapy I get at Spine and Sport!…read more 5 months ago I had a shoulder repair which had me immobilized for 6 weeks. I was comfortable in the sling, but worried about my recovery. When my therapy started Dr. Perakis assured me along the way of what I could expect, and the time it takes to reach milestones. I was never pushed past what I felt able to do. My progress has been so steady. As a Figure Competitor, I require all the small muscle groups to be functioning. They don't miss any details. I actually just visited my surgeon's office this morning. She did strength tests and checked my range of motion. Her exact word were, "You are doing much better than most patients at this point." I knew that already, but I wanted her to say it. I, honestly, tell anyone who will listen about this place. I highly recommend it for a thorough therapy for whatever your ailment may be. And, the people have really good energy. It's so important when you're healing. If you're looking for a Physical Therapist, you won't be very pleased with the care you receive at Spine and Sport in El Centro, CA.
