The front receptionist staff at Clinica del Pueblo in El Centro we're great I rate those ladies 5 . I urge anyone needing a procedure done to get lab work, x-rays and an MRI. In November 2021 I saw Dr. Gostich he said I had a cyst so he removed it. A few days later stitches we're removed. I continue to call the office and have follow up appointments because the incision is not healing there is blood and drainage for weeks and I'm put on various antibiotics. I spent 5 months like this. Until I get care at Rancho Santa Margarita, it turns out I have nail pieces in the incision. I had to have another procedure to correct Dr Gostich procedure. read more

I don't mean to be rude, but this doctor was a complete jerk! During my first visit he recommended surgery and gave me a Cortisone shot for pain. On my follow up visit his assistant prepped another Cortisone shot without saying anything to me and left the room. The doctor entered and was about to inject me when I told him I'd rather pass on the shot because the first had caused quite a bit of pain and discomfort. He was noticeably bothered and asked if that meant I wanted to schedule the surgery, I told him I decided not to have surgery and he got VERY UPSET, saying he didn't know "why the hell" I was there and and asked me why I was "wasting his time". Really? It was my follow up visit and I wanted him to know my decision. I couldn't afford the surgery or miss work. He didn't care, he rushed out and left me sitting. So I walked out, asked the woman at the front for my xrays, which was another argument in itself; finally got them and left. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR, TO ANYONE, EVER. read more

He's pretty straight forward, and friendly. He's done 2 surgeries for me, and has a good bedside manner every time. Really like this Doctor and would highly recommend him. read more

If you would like to meet a lazy and hostile receptionist czar, then this place is for you. The hired help can't be bothered to get up from her chair to even look at a file without 24 hours notice, for no other reason than, "it's our policy." Yes, I can have the x-ray, but no, I can't have a copy of my records also. This smiling mad hatter protege cannot say whether she will or will not fax or mail records to my new doctor because, even though I told her I had only made three visits total to that office, she does not know how many pages are in the file, and she will not get her derriere out of the chair to find out, without 24 hours notice. The fact that I gave up paid work time, and called ahead that same day before driving two hours to get there is just NOT HER PROBLEM!. Rules are rules. I took my 4 year old son in to see this doctor and I completely regret it. First red flag was that upon arriving to our appt right on schedule the secretary was having a deep conversation with a friend about her boyfriend and then gossip gossip gossip. Seeing my husband and I walking into the empty waiting room didn't stop her she kept going for another 10 mins. Then after some time waiting the doctor made us wait an additional 45 mins because he was doing a new computer system training while we were waiting in the exam room. Why do that while you have a patient waiting? Then he finally came into the room and was rude and was rambling about not understanding all young kids speeches including his nephews which was brought up after not understanding my son. He's very unprofessional and needs to retire. Would never recommend this idiot. Will be going to SD for the real professionals like we do for everything else and it is most definitely worth the drive. read more
