She was a very immature young woman that was insecure about everything including going throughout the back yard and around the house very awkward the whole 5 minutes she was here. Before engaging me in any conversation didn't ring my door bell or knock just text me and in fact was 1 hour late to our appointment. Then after 5 minutes of conversation I decided to end our meeting as she wanted to get a friend to comeback with her. Not sure why. I later called management about how unprofessional the experience was and that if the simple task of greeting some and being discreet about passcodes was to much for their sales staff maybe their service would be just as tacky and from the look at the reviews with overpriced trashy product and service walking away looks to have been a good choice for me. Thanks but no thanks for the overpriced monstrous nightmare. Lol!!

Then wrote me up a proposal and expensive estimate for something I didn't ask for. When I asked them about what I was requesting they said they'd look into it. I never heard back. Called three months later, receptionist sent me to someone's VM and never heard back. Seems they are only interested in selling me what they want me to have, not what I need. A for selling, Fail on follow through.

So since my comment on their Facebook page keeps getting deleted I figured I'll write here since…read morethey cant delete it. Last night while making dinner there was a knock on our door. I looked through the peep hole but since I didn't recognize the man I wish answer. He continued to knock, ring the door bell, knock, tell for someone to answer the door for at least 5 minutes before someone finally went outside. It was one of your reps trying to get us to reactivate our service. I'm sorry for that was beyond rude. If someone doesn't answer the door it's for a reason. He also kept insisting to come inside. Extremely unprofessional and We will never be recommending the service or reactivating.

UPDATE: 03/06/2014 - If anyone reads these reviews, and you really should, I'm making this final…read moreupdate to finish the review. - I sent a registered letter with my demands. Several months later I received a notice that I was free and clear I didn't owe anything. Oh really ? So all the calls, and by the way were up to every day calls (whatever you do don't give them your cell number ) in the final week before receiving the letter. So fight these pri_ks or better still, don't go with Vivint, Inc. in the first place. Vivint Inc And so it continues with Vivint and I'm sure everyone wants to know what comes next...... a Joyce Black called saying we had a problem with our account and to call (again). When I returned the call Joyce Black could not be found and another agent said we owed 98 dollars on our account. I was then transfered to billing and cancellation. I re explained that we had given them no less than 3 phone calls within a 3 month period before our 5 yr contract was to be completed (starting to feel like a jail sentence) and several months before end date a REQUIRED confirmation letter. I was told they didn't receive the letter till a month later! So, many minutes later of details, the agent said all was good, no problem on account but now asked that my wife also contact them (again) on cancellation. Agent then went on to try and sell me a wi-fi alarm system ! Flash forward 2 days and get another call from Joyce Black and to call back. I had my wife field this return call. When she did, and asked for Joyce Black, she was told Joyce wasn't there or some excuse (it had been only 5 minutes since their call - beginning to think this person doesn't exist) - and then the agent on phone, Cory, started in on the 98 bucks over due on our account. My wife explained that this was already handled on the first phone call to agent Rose. Back to the 98 dollar account..... - and my wife said for agent Cory to note that she was calling to once again confirm cancellation. Agent said my wife would have to call back during the hours that Joyce Black worked, mountain time. We verified the date on our letter sent and looked over our phone calls to verify the calls made previously to cancel our account on the anniversary of our 5 year contract. So today I contacted my lawyer. He indicated that records of calls made from us and the confirmation letter, even if they didn't get it till later, was sufficient enough notice on our part for the cancellation. Lawyer also questioned why a confirmation letter was even necessary since when we called we had to tell then our personal information and the secret pass to our alarm account. Just to catch everyone up here - Vivint continued their attempt to collect after the 5 yr contract was completed, final payment made, and multiple heads-up phone cancellation calls and a submitted confirmation cancellation letter. They then load up with processing fees and late fees on top of a monthly charge. This is actually what they do to other customers - see my other Yelp blog. And just remember, if they keep charging after your contract final date and you have contacted them to cancel, you will most likely spend months trying to get your money back if ever.

I just closed on a home that included a home warranty. I contacted the warranty company yesterday…read moreto schedule a locksmith and they set up a service request for me. They automatically went with this company and sent the request to them. Within half an hour I was contacted for my availability, and once I provided it they scheduled it immediately. They came out this afternoon and did the locks for three doors, six locks total which is the max the warranty covers. Our locksmith's name was Alex and he was super friendly. He arrived on time and was polite from start to finish. He explained the whole process to me and told me how the old locks worked and how the new ones will work since they were built differently. He took his time with his work but still got it done faster than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. He made sure I tested the new locks with the new keys so I could be sure everything was all good, and it was. I had a great experience with this company from start to finish. The scheduling was painless and fast and the technician arrived within the estimated window. I was also notified when he was on his way and I was able to track his progress so I could tell when he would arrive. I'm not sure why other people had bad experiences in the past, but my experience was nothing short of perfect. I would certainly recommend these folks, Alex in particular, to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly locksmith.

No work was performed, and no one answered the phone when I called before, during, and after the scheduled time. Edit: the agreement was the locksmith would arrive between 10:00 am and 11:30am (see screenshot). When 11:30 hit, I called their phone number to ask if the locksmith would arrive soon, and if I should stay past the appointment window. There was no answer. In fact, I still have not gotten any call-back from the multiple voicemails I left three days ago. I understand that things happen, and something appointments need to be rescheduled or delayed, but communication is an important part of making that happen. You cannot expect a customer to remain past an agreed upon window if you do not contact them to extend it.
