Well...Unfortunately I too had an rough ride with these guys. I did understand some of the mentions of rude staff. However Despite previous reviews, I gave it a go going through the Uber app. But I would not recommend it as Uber is allowing some false advertisement on the exact details on how the Uber fleet system works. The guaranteed rate you see @ $1400 per week is what they want for you to pay for the car weekly rental rate. That is not your weekly pay rate!!!!! Now due to the extreme poor quality of the vehicles Federal Lime will require an mandatory purchase of AAA through their QR code. $100.00 additional Secondly You'll be provided several sets of keys, but you immediately noticed that no matter which vehicles you're gonna pick it's gonna be rough they're gonna be very dirty no gas or very high mileage interior damage body damage, but no one is gonna verify the damage with you. Video the car! Next The vehicles will be between 2019 and under. Millage 250,000 plus. My overall experiences is quite a lot of stress as I tried to use two different vehicles within 7 days one cost excess of oil cost the other shook so hard with mind you customers in the car we was terrified once on freeway. So when we got the car to the lot, the tire was literally gonna come off and the mechanic had said they were not sure why that car was released. They've been having issues with that tire.!!! needed to pick up another car so I could work guess what I got the same car give them back to me. I turned in in the first place. and the mechanics not being able to verify if it had been worked on or not, so I took it being hopeful! Try to survive Last note is whether you're able to make money with their vehicles or not, they'll begin to start calling you 2 AM 6 AM 9 AM midweek telling you to give back their car now due to your lack pay seen on the app by them, but with the full weeks pay! They know there are problems with each of their vehicles and they're not safe. Drive backed into my car at the Southlake Westin....He had an expired insurance card. It was at least a trail...but that insurance had expired and the agent didn't know who wrote their new policy. Owner/Boss (according to Raffeal) was going to pay me instead of going through insurance. They are not being cooperative. Acura Hiley said it would be just under $2,000 (camera broke behind the grill from the impact and the safety systems would need to be recalibrated). I will remove if this gets settled, but I'm getting a feeling they are not reputable. read more

I started renting from Federal Limo about six months ago... I not only drive Uber black now but my life has been completely changed. Cars have issues ‍especially when you drive them long periods of time.. if you're a driver in the city you realize you're on the road for long hours on Friday and Saturday nights... I want to change anything about those except for maybe having a little bit more cars on hand.. in case accidents happen or car breaks down.. is been great with me and like I said my life is been changed.. I hate the reviews that I see because it not all true? A lot of people are just upset because they probably just going to get the service they wanted because they thought they were owed it .. I'm not writing this from being a customer but their limo driver just almost killed my husband and I. He decided not to follow traffic laws and merging norms. Long story short we were merging onto 75 from 35 and he almost drove us off the overpass because he refused to slow down at all and preferred to cut us off despite it being our turn to merge...he was apparently in a much bigger hurry and needed to be 5' in front of us...exactly what I want in a limo company...aggressive, dangerous driving w no concern for human life. He then flipped us off, honked and sprayed his back windshield wiper so it would spray our window. Nothing says Christmas spirit like vigilante spite and road rage... My 18 year son's flight was cancel and he was stuck in Dallas and had to get a cheap hotel nearby. He called Federal Limo to book a taxi to return to the airport this morning. He was quoted a price the night before $35 plus tip. The taxi showed up and it was an Escalade not . The driver told my son that they were short staffed yet when he got to the airport he demanded my son pay him $52 plus tip. My son told them that was not was agreed upon. My son was completed overwhelmed, intimidated and was bullied into paying. Federal Limo took advantage of a kid that was stranded. Poor form!!! read more

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before I booked. I called them to pick me up to the airport. OK, so the guy didn't say his company name, just said "Good evening" big *** Deal! Even thought I called only two hour in advanced, They came to pick me up five min before. The driver, Oded, was nice and the car was clean. He helped me with my luggage and even gave me a bottle of water. I also booked them two weeks after to pick me up. It was a different driver this time but same good service. I guess he had some overbooking issue, but they seems like a great local family business. read more

Federal Limo gave me a quote for a sedan from Love Field directly to a home address in Benbrook. It actually ended up costing about the same as Uber, except I was able to schedule it in advance which was important. I was worried my 90 year old grandmother was gonna get stuck at the Airport, so I put a lot of trust in Federal Limo. Shawn at Primo Limo gave me a quote of $250 for the same trip (vs $103 with gratuity from Federal). Primo Limo had more Yelp reviews, but there was the huge price difference. With federal, I sent an email for a quote. I got a quote the next day, and communicated back and forth to smooth out the details. I then followed a link in the email, entered payment information, and created reservation. I gave specific instructions to the scheduler for the driver to meet my grandmother at baggage claim, which didn't happen. However, they did call her cell phone which she didn't have turned on. She said the driver was very friendly, helped with her bags, and delivered bags to the door of her destination and made sure she got in ok. Overall, the price was really good, communication was fair, driver was timely and professional. I would definitely use the service again. read more

Avoid this limo company.... After seeing other reviews, this company has an issue with overbooking nights and not keeping reservations. A friend bought a groupon for a Christmas light tour in Highland Park. After making reservations for 7pm, our reservation was pushed to 8 pm. At 7:54pm the night of our reservation (with 8 adults and 7 young children all waiting and ready to go) the driver calls to tell us it will be 8:30. We are not happy, but we accept it. At 8:20, we get another call that our ride has been pushed to 10pm. Being a school night for several of the kids and way past bedtime for the others, we tell them that it is unacceptable. We called the manager who was immediately defensive and rude. We then decided that since they were unable to accomate us appropriately, we expected a full refund. My friend said she ended up going through her bank to get the refund. None of us will be utilizing services from this company. read more

A year ago, I had a great customer experience with them. Calling them back a year later, the driver was 45 minutes late, causing a considerable crimp in our evening plans. The owner of Federal Limo in Dallas, Texas, (Oded Gabbay) has proven over the years to be a scam artist. From providing faulty limousines to clients, to misrepresenting the condition of his limousines that he rents and sells. When selling them, he misrepresents the condition of the limousines on ebay and/or craigslist, takes a deposit, and then when people come see that the vehicle is a piece of junk, the people ask for a refund and he says NO. This past December he scammed me big time and then I found out from talking to other people that left deposits, he took deposits from approx 7 people and refused to refund the deposits. Do the homework and find the bad reviews on this company. He brags to be a 2017 Angies list premier provider and he has bad reviews on Angies list and he has bad reviews dating back several years on ebay regarding things he sells. I schedule a bus pickup for my family of 10 people with Limos.com. They contracted the pickup to Federal Limos. I called the night before to confirm everything was scheduled since it was a 5:00 am pickup. No one showed up. When I called I was advised that the driver never even got the bus and that it would be at least an hour before they could get someone out. I had to load up 10 people and 11 suitcases into two cars and rush to make our flight. I think my review says it all. read more

Stay Away from this company!!!! Horrible booking issues. Thanks Groupon for giving me a refund!! I called this company 3 times to make sure my date was available. Each time they said yes. So I purchased my groupon and did the online reservation. Twenty four hours later I called to find out when I would receive my final confirmation. The guy said they were behind and it would take him a few days. So I called back a week later and was informed that they would not confirm the reservation until 1 week out. I asked "why not is it available?" The guy said "well it is available right now." So my reply was "if it is available now then why can't you just confirm the reservation so I can solidify my plans." He stated "we do not confirm reservations until a week out." When I asked why he stated "Because we prioritize our bookings." I quickly understood that he meant, ***We wait to see how many reservations we get and take the best ones first. So even though your little 3 hour slot is available now if we get a 5 hour that overlaps, we will take the 5 hour no matter how much earlier YOU booked your reservation!*** When I asked him if that is what was going he tried to deny it. I said "if that is not true, send me my confirmation now or cancel the reservation so I can make other arrangements." Guess what? He cancelled the reservation. If that is indeed your policy, it should be stated on your website!!! Because by the time they call you back to say that they AREN'T going to book you because they found a better job, it's too late to find someone else!! Don't waste your time calling these people! Update to my original post: Federal Limousine must be desperate to get these bad reviews off of yelp. They have been constantly emailing me and asking me to take off the review. I told them no. I bought a coupon through Entertainment Daily Deal and made a reservation for a 2 hour ride that later they took back and told me they could no longer apply the coupon or allow me just a 2 hour ride - that it had to be 4 hours--going against our original CONTRACT. I canceled the reservation and received a confirmation of the cancellation. I posted my awful experience in dealing with this company on yelp. After seeing my bad review they sent me an email offering me the 2 hour limo ride they promised me from the beginning if i would remove the bad comment. I told them "No thanks. Please stop emailing me." They then sent me the following threatening email: From: Federal Limo federallimo@yahoo.com Date: August 29, 2011 8:46:32 AM CDT Subject: 28. advertising consent Reply-To: federallimo@yahoo.com 1. according to this email you aware about chapter 28 of our agreement. 28.Advertising/Review Consent- Use of Federal Limo name,logos or pictures must have Federal Limo Consent, violation will result in $10000 Fine. 2. WE did offer to honor 2 hours and you refused. 3. Please send us $10000 or remove your review. Thank you I have done research and have found the following information: Companies file or threaten defamation suits as a way to suppress information they don't like. They do it so often that the suits have a name: Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation. But you have the power to turn bad publicity into worse publicity. If a company threatens you for posting a bad review, post their threats. Send us any threats or cease and desist letters you receive. Chilling Effects keeps a database of these, so make sure you send it to them, too. I see that there is another person that has had a similar experience with Federal Limousine and the company has made the same threats to them as well (their comments posted on yelp as well). You cannot be sued for expressing your opinion on yelp or any other opinion board. Federal Limo did a great job! We used them for after our wedding to drive the wedding party and friends home from the venue as most of us had been drinking during the reception. They were quick and concise, we gave them the addresses for our stops and got on the road. The driver was knowledgeable and courteous. I will definitely be using them again. After a well planned evening with friends and family for a Christmas light limo ride, this company not only failed on our evening but, they were rude too. They were more than 90 min late after we already agreed to delay the originally booked time. They took no time removing my negative post on their FB page. If they could service their customers as quicky would be great. My friend and I booked this event together well in advance and we had several people waiting and all of our children. What a disappointment. We booked through groupon and paid in advance including a substantial gratuity and fee. I spoke with someone while completing our reservation and they said they have been doing this for 15 years. This is hard to believe with how they handled our situation so unprofessionally and treated us very badly. Horrible limo service, horrible customer service and a bunch of lies. The limo looked good. Too bad no one got to ride in it. After the way the driver came off so rude, there is no way I wanted my family and friends in that car. Not to mention it was almost 10 pm. Most people and companies start shutting off Christmas lights at 10 pm. We should have been ending our evening at this time. We were not going to subject our already sleepy and disappointed children to a 2 hour ride with a rude and disgruntle driver. He also said he had been driving for 6 hours. VERY DISTURBING EXPERIENCE...PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE RESERVING!! (sorry so long) My husband booked federal limo a week in advance for my birthday. My initial impression was that the manager/owner was nice and accomodating...We paid a $100 deposit to reserve the stretched excursion- that was expected. The driver arrived before on time- that was great! When the driver stepped out to greet us- not so great!!! I was mortified at what I saw: He had on an orange and green stripped, teddy bear stocking cap with large ears on top. He wore baggy, unpressed khakis, a cowboys or miami dolphins starter type jacket and some type of casual boot like shoe. Did I mention the driver's front teeth were all rotted out?! On top of all of this madness the floors in the limo were dirty!! Before we got in I asked the driver why were the floors so dirty? He responded, "maam I'm not sure, my boss called me to pick ya'll up and I grabbed the keys and headed your way." I said, "well do you guys check the car before you leave to ensure cleanliness?" He said, "well I will be more than happy to go now and clean it out for ya'll." I declined because we had a schedule to keep. Honestly, even though the driver was dressed inappropiately he was real nice! The driver was also very patient and accomodating. On Monday morning while getting dressed for work I decided to call the company to thank them for arriving on time and of course to bring up my few concerns The owner/manager answered the phone again and seemed nice and happy when I expressed my gratitude regarding them being on time and the driver being so nice. However, once I brought up the dirty floors and the driver's unprofessional appearance he became immediately defensive. His exact words to me were, "In my driver's defense, I called him out of the blue to pick ya'll up, he came directly to my house, grabbed the keys and made it to you guys on time. I'm not sure what state my driver was in or where he was when I called him, but he did me a favor. I was supposed to be your driver but I had a late night that didnt end until 4a Sunday morning." I felt like Scooby Doo, Brrrrr?? So I then asked, "Are you saying to me that since your driver was called in on his day off it should be acceptable for him to dress unprofessionally and not check the limo for cleanliness? Do you all not have a standard dress code? Do you all complete a vehicle inspection before heading out for a route?" Did I mention that the entire time I asked questions the owner/manager continued to interrupt me? I was totally suprised by his reaction because he seemed nice in the beginning. I guess I expected him to say something to the sort of, "I apologize. I will address the issue. What can I do to accomodate?" Well obviuosly that would of been like asking for the moon!!! I was sooo baffled by the experience. The last thing I remember saying to the now very rude owner was, "I didn't mean for this to become a long drawn out debate, I am getting ready for work, I have to go...thank you." I'm sure he stayed on the line for at least another 5 min before he realized I hung up. Seriously he was barking so aggressively he didn't hear much of what I said once I brought up my concerns. Like some of the other reviews stated: This company is sketchy & unprofessional. I would never use them again! Even after the experience I wasn't going to write a review because I was very pleased with the driver's kindness and his willingness to accomodate me and my guest. And I feel kind of bad for bringing up his appearance but the owner/manager's response left me no choice. It's very obvious that the owner has never taken any type of customer service training. Customer service is a very important piece of being successful in business. When people are satisfied with your service they will tell about 5 to 10 people, however, when they are dissatisfied they will tell about 50 people. Do not use this company! I purchased a Groupon for a byob limo ride to see the Christmas lights in Highland Park. I got a verbal confirmation and several email confirmations. The day of the event (12/17 at 8:30pm), 19 friends and I were eagerly waiting to get picked up. 10 minutes past the reservation, no one had shown up so I called to get a status. I was told that they would try to reach the driver to get a status and call me back. 5 minutes after that, I still hadn't heard back so I called again. The guy said he'd tried calling the driver 5 times but couldn't get a hold of him. He stated that he had seen the driver leave, so he was going to try to reach him again. A little while later he calls me and says he still can't find the driver, but he can send another car which will take another 45 minutes. At this point, it was already late on a weeknight, so I told him to cancel the whole thing and refund the additional "gratuity and tax" that was charged to my card and I have emailed Groupon to get a refund. After reading the reviews I now see that this is not a one time fluke for this company, but rather the way they do business. I only wish that I had taken the time to google this company before I got 19 other people disappointed by such an awful experience. read more

Bob always calls 3 hours in advance to confirm pick up and provides flight info along with weather updates. If you need to use Federal Limo then Bob is your man!! read more

DO NOT USE THEM!! Last night was my 40th birthday and 7th wedding anniversary. I had scheduled this outing way in advance, on 8/26/13, and in my instructions I explained what we were celebrating and provided both the address of our hotel and the address to the restaurant we were going to, it was important to me that this went smoothly. The driver was 16 minutes LATE. We had reservations for dinner at Bob's Steak and Chophouse at 8:30, he showed up at 8:16, he was supposed to be there at 8pm. When he showed up he HAD NO IDEA WHERE WE WERE GOING. He didn't know we had reservations for dinner at a restaurant, he didn't have the address. He was clueless. We gave him the address, after I called the restaurant to tell them we would be late and he still fumbled around on his phone/GPS to find it. The limo was musty, old, and had NO MUSIC AND NO DRINKS. No water, no cups...NOTHING. After dinner, once we came outside to the parking lot, he was no where to be found. I sent a text message to "Issac" and was told the driver was on premises, it took about 10 or so minutes for him to come to the front of the restaurant to get us. On the ride back to the hotel, his driving was jerky, and on two separate occasions, cars were honking at him. When we finally got back to the hotel, it was such a hassle with the payment. After all of our trouble, he offered us 30 minutes extension to our ride!! It was a horrible experience!! The driver blamed dispatch for not sending the directions to him supposedly and the dispatcher (Issac) blamed the driver. Then, he gave me a $20 discount! Seriously? I paid $250 for NOTHING!!!! Just a hassle. If your JOB is to be a driver you need to know where the customers are going...that's your JOB!!! Will make sure no one I know uses you and will post this same thing review on all of the limo transportation sites. read more

This company is beyond terrible... I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE IT 1 STAR if it was an option!!! I purchased a groupon for the holiday lights tour from them and they were less than helpful and not to mention rude!!! The first time I called the phone line was messed up and had a lot of static. So I called back and spoke with someone to ask them about the availability. The guy said that the day I wanted was all booked and he was helping another customer so I should check the availability on their website (in a rude way). I went on the website to book a different day and the website didn't work the 3 times I tried... everytime I filled out the information and hit continue it just took me back to the main page!!! So the next day I tried to book it again on a different computer and got past the part of filling out the first page and then my credit card information and aggreed to the terms, but when I hit submit reservation it took me back to the main page again!!! I decided to call to make the reservation and a very unfriendly man that I could barely understand answered the phone. I told him I needed to make a reservation and I had tried online but their website wasn't working and he told me that the website was working and I should do it again. He even said he would walk me through it and while on the phone I went to the website and as he insturcted me on what to do I told him I had already done all of that 4 times now. Then he decided to try to book the day I wanted over the phone. Well he changed the date 3 different times even though I said I wanted the 27th he kept saying different dates like the 19th, 22nd and 23rd!!! We finally got the right date (I think) and I gave him the pick up address and then he proceeds to tell me that he doesn't service my area!!! I would have been more understanding except that I had asked the guy the day before when I called if they serviced my area and he told me to check online to see if my zip code was within the 20 mile radius. I checked and it was (16 miles to be exact)!!!! Needless to say I was done after that. MY ADVICE: THIS COMPANY IS REALLY SKETCHY AND IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM. A friend of mine purchased the latest groupon for Federal Limos and tried to book it for an outing with no luck and a lack of professionalism from the man on the phone. She never received a call back and was told originally that "they cannot confirm the booking until one week prior to the event." What kind of company is this? Do they just decide what is convenient for them or which party would be more fun to drive? It should be a first come, first served basis, booking confirmation should be immediate. This is the most unprofessional company I have heard of and I looked at the recent reviews for the company and it seems like quite a few people who purchased the same groupon had the same issues or worse. Do not offer this groupon to your clients if you CANNOT HONOR IT WITH PROFESSIONALISM. No wonder the BBB is receiving numerous complaints.
