We waited a year almost for the outpost in Willow Grove Federal Donuts to arrive and it was beyond our expectations! Greeted by very kind and knowledgeable staff . Chicken is made fresh to order omg crazy insane fresh delicious crunchy seasoned to perfection juicy to the last bite! Fries are seasoned , flavorful and perfect for dipping. Insanity perfectly indulgent lunch seated indoors. Donuts are like nothing you have ever had . Made freshly on premises flavors vary day to day but guaranteed never to disappoint! I had patronized Sansom Str C.C. location for 10 years before 2020 and it was a weekly go to . No matter if you are going lunch take out or just picking up your soon to be favorite donuts you will be coming back again and again! Entire location is perfectly spotless clean and free parking is available just outside the door! Enjoy your adventure! Love This Experience ! Ambiance is hipster meets Gen X and seating inside is counter or table for 4 :))

This is the type of chicken i could get at my middle school lunchroom. I had such high hopes but was SO disappointed Go to literally any other chicken place. It looks like frozen chicken with cheese slapped on. Would not recommend!!

I have had Federal Donuts (both at the original location and Northern Liberties) in the city many of times and it was some of my favorite chicken and donuts. This was not that...at all. Dry- ass donut (and the wrong one I asked for) and an awful chicken sandwich on ice cold bread, and a slice of ice cold unmelted cheese. Even the wrapper was cold which was a bad sign even before biting into it. I was excited for this to be opening near my home but pretty sure I'm not coming back.

Even though the donuts are good, the service leaves a bad taste. Donuts are way too expensive to be treated so poorly

This was a tough one...if I was basing this solely on food, 5/5…read more However...the atmosphere is a large open floor plan with dull and dated decor. But easily overlooked for the AMAZING food. Server was VERY friendly and kind. My real problem is they ripped me off. Mom got a cheesesteak for $20 I got the lunch special for $14. Really easy to figure out the bill right? Nope! I gave waitress a $20 bill and put Ty's rest on a card. Well her and the manager insisted that $19 should be put on the card bc they are charging 4% for card (which 4% of $14 is like under .50. They both insisted and couldn't show me a breakdown or explain anything at all. I won't return for that reason. Dishonesty is not good business practice, but food is just off the charts AMAZING!!! Sad to cross this one off my list.

OMG.. Delicious cheesesteak!…read more Because I wanted to try a bit of everything. This is what we ordered.. -Double Bacon Smashed -Cheesesteak with both wiz and cooper cheese with fried onions- it's a must! -Cheesesteak Mozzarella sticks! YUM! So I'll start of by saying everything was delicious, well seasoned and just simply amazing. The staff / server who took care of us , was such a sweetheart... asked if we needed any suggestions from the menu and was attentive. The place is a nice size with lots of seating and even offer outdoor seating. Which is nice for summer evenings. The cheesesteak at this place has got to be one of my favorite. I absolutely loved it. The smash burger was delicious too. It was melty, well seasoned with pickles , lettuce and a smash sauce. Really good too. When I can't decide which was my favorite, you know it was good lol. Definitely go check them out! You won't be disappointed! Will be coming for more soon!!

Heading to a different place for happy hour we got side tracked as we passed Gloria's and turned…read morearound to check it out. Glad we did! It is a huge place. Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! That surely made her day extra special and memorable.

Visited Gloria Sports & Spirits during happy hour and ordered a mix of happy hour items and regular…read moremenu offerings. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The Good: Gloria Fries Gloria spice, Cooper sharp cheese sauce, truffle parm aioli. Easily one of the highlights. Well-seasoned, indulgent, and flavorful. The dipping sauces were very good. Especially the cooper sharp cheese sauce. $8 happy hour price, normally $10. Truffle Shuffle Pizza EVOO, mozzarella, mushroom, truffle honey, rosemary. The best of the three pizzas we ordered. Balanced flavors, well-executed, and this pizza truly delivered! Definitely worth the $10 price, otherwise $19 regular price. Boardwalk Pizza with Pepperoni Bianco Di Napoli sauce, mozzarella, fior di latte, parm, oregano. Solid pizza with good flavor and balance. Paid $12 happy hour price, otherwise it is $19. Just Okay: Stuffed Grape Leaves Mediterranean-style dolmas with lemon rice. Fine, nothing memorable. $7 1/2-Pound Smash Burger Two smash-seared patties, Cooper sharp cheese, LTO, umami sauce, toasted brioche bun. Decent burger, but didn't stand out considering the price of $16 Not So Great: Margherita Pizza Bianco Di Napoli sauce, fior di latte, basil, EVOO. Came out burnt (as shown in the photo), which is hard to overlook. Fortunately we only paid $10 (happy hour price) regular price $18 Jumbo Wings Ten pieces served with buttermilk blue cheese, celery, and carrots. These should not be labeled "jumbo" as there isn't anything jumbo about these wings. At $1.50 per wing, they're overpriced and not worth it. Final Thoughts: Gloria Sports and Spirits describes itself as an elevated dining experience, but that mostly seems to translate to elevated prices. I would only recommend ordering from the happy hour menu. The pizzas aren't worth the nearly $20 price tag, and the wings are neither jumbo nor a good value. One final note: root beer is apparently the only soda without unlimited refills. It's $5 per order, which isn't disclosed until the bill arrives. An unpleasant surprise. Overall, for future visits I'll be sticking strictly to the happy hour menu. And that's all I can recommend for anyone else when visiting Gloria Sports and Spirits.
