I was visiting the animal shelter nearby and needed some coffee! I ordered the Federal latte with almond milk and it was delicious! I asked for less sweetener and it was perfect. My brother ordered the vanilla oat latte and he liked it as well. I was o glad to see that they had almond bites, they're legit my fave! The location is super cute and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will deff be returning!
Stopped by Federal Coffee and tried the Maple Cream Latte and the Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte. The coffees were okay overall. The Maple Cream Latte was fine, but the maple flavor wasn't very strong, and the cream on top was a bit light. The Sugar-Free Vanilla Latte tasted like it was made with a standard grocery-store sugar-free creamer, which wasn't great. Overall, it was just alright--probably won't be coming back.

I stopped by here after the gym wanting to support a non-chain coffee place. Really cute corner where you order in one window and pick up in another. I had an espresso and a veggie burrito. The service was super friendly! The espresso was good and served in a small paper cup which I liked. The burrito was all right. They also had a bunch of yummy looking and creative flavor pastries that I will target next time. Love the sidewalk tables and community of mellow people and dogs who frequent this sweet place. A good way to start your day!
My girlfriend and I stopped by Federal Coffee early on a Sunday morning. The coffee was decent, and the shop itself has a nice vibe. It's a cool little corner spot with some outdoor seating and a neat mural. You order at the walk up window. I didn't have any issues with finding street parking. I found a spot pretty close without any trouble. The service wasn't there though. They were finishing up an order for the customer ahead of us, so it didn't seem very busy. Still, the baristas seemed more focused on their own conversation than on being welcoming. It came across like they were rushing through our order just to get back to talking with each other. After we ordered, no other customers showed up until we were about to leave. It's a one and done spot for me but still a cool place to check out though, especially if you like all pink everything.

It's delicious! I would go back just for that. My iced latte was also great! Cute little outdoor area if you are grabbing something to go.
Cute corner coffee window! I'll stop here occasionally for their famous matcha with pink milk, which is just as gorgeous as it seems on Instagram. The matcha is well-made and strong. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait for the drinks, but it's always worth it. And while they're well-known for their coffee and matcha, don't forget to get some of their amazing pastries! Parking is a bit of a challenge here and just a heads up that there isn't any indoor seating; you'll have to sit outside if you want to hang around.

She put vanilla syrup then ice then oat milk then the espresso then 4 tablespoons of cream too that costs $2 !!!! First if you get a latte with cream top it's meant to be sipped on. But since she didn't mix the syrup and it's all at the bottom I wasn't getting the full experience of having a cream top latte. They charged $10 for 1 latte to make it incorrectly and only give like 4 tablespoons of cream top! Expensive and not trained well on how to make a proper latte. Poor experience. And the latte was mid.
New favorite matcha spot! They use some of the highest quality matcha I've seen for a coffee shop on the west side (Ippodo Ikuyo). I always grab an iced matcha latte with oat milk and they never miss! No parking lot, but pretty easy to find street parking on Pico or in the nearby neighborhood.

Federal Coffee is a very cute bistro right on Pico just east of Bundy. The vibe is urban chill with excellent caffeinafed drinks and I enjoyed my burrito and pastries. Service is excellent by a professional staff. There's no indoor seating but I like the cute tables on the sidewalk surrounding the Cafe. Recommended.
I'd say the coffee here is pretty mid, and unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. I stopped by on a gloomy Sunday and was met with less-than-friendly service from the baristas. To top it off, they didn't have coffee sleeves and told me they were out--huh? This is a coffee shop, right? How does that happen? I feel like I was catfished because I was expecting my drink to look as good as the drinks on their Yelp page, but that is not what I received. Overall, not impressed. The drinks look good but the excitement stops there.
Solid spot for good coffee and awesome pastries. Nestled on the corner of Federal and Pico, in between a number of businesses and residences, Federal Coffee has been around since 2021. Step up to the Order window and try not to get too distracted by the glorious pastries from Chaumont (of BH). There's patio seating, kitschy and charming in pink and green. Happy to have Federal recommended to me by a nearby business. Nice little piece of solace in the busy, hurried city. read more
My friend and I went to Federal Coffee's bright pink coffee shop for some early morning refreshments and were happy with everything! They have some baked goods from Chaumont Bakery, including a delicious chocolate chip cookie ($5.75) which I recommend. They use Sight Glass beans in their coffee and have a solid cold brew. Important to note, they only have outdoor seating and no bathrooms so this is more of a short hang type of spot, then a camp all day to work spot. read more

Found this place on TikTok for the pink coffees, decided to take a friend with me to try it. They do NOT have any inside seats! Sadly it was a sunny but a colder day so this did cut our coffee date short. I did ask about the pink flavors and it sounded like it was just food coloring, which also made the hype less exciting for me. I ordered my coffee hot and it wasn't pink so I assume it's only for the cold drinks that can be pink. My server also wasn't able to make a cute art on the top, she apologized which is fine but again didn't add to my expectation. The service was overall good and the coffee came out pretty quickly. It was so windy that the umbrella outside fell on the streets as well. Overall the hype didn't live it up for me but it wasn't a bad coffee. Maybe I will need to come back on a sunnier day! read more

Been wanting to come and check this place out for a while and it's worth the drive. It's a cute little place with outdoor seating only, which is great. Parking is a mission but if you're planning a quick pick-up then you should be good . Service is quick to order which is always a plus but overall it's a nice little spot for chill and enjoy a good breeze or have fun with the photo ops. read more

Woman working register very sarcastic and rude for no reason. Rolling eyes and being condescending. Kind of ironic since this place has "F- Ice" signage up on the windows. That is cool and hip, but maybe train your employees to treat everyone equally? Food looks old so we chose not to get any. Ambiance was confusing. The building is painted bright colors, but everything from the floors, to the wall, counters, tables, and neon signage is dirty and covered in dust and dirt. Maybe the owner takes the hands off approach. Or maybe the owner just needs to hire employees that come to work and not gossip and belittle customers. Coffee was ok. They got my order wrong twice so I gave up and just left. read more
Finally found the perfect coffee spot and so close to my apartment!! Love their lavender mocha! The matcha latte was just ok. Would def go back and try their cold brew when the weather in LA is not rainy and cold. Their pastries were also delicious and almost sold out in the afternoon. Highly recommend!! read more
I love this place! Just a heads-up: there's no indoor seating and the outdoor spots are pretty limited. Finding parking in the neighborhood can be a bit of a hunt, but it's totally worth it. One of the coolest things is they'll make your coffee pink for free--how fun is that? The coffee and baked goods are delicious; I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. Plus, the mural on the wall is super cute and makes for a great photo op with your coffee. I've been back so many times that I've lost count. It's definitely become one of my go-to spots! read more
Such a cute little corner spot! Very close off the exit to the freeway. Love the pink of course!! Who doesn't? Friendly staff and fun music playing. Handful of 2-seater tables scattered around and a bench available. Plenty of meter parking and couple of 15 min parking right in front of the shop. :) very convenient!!! First time here and the menu was easy to maneuver. this is a cashless shop so please keep that in mind when visiting!! My large matcha with the customizations was around 9.50 and the vegan cross isnt was almost 6. The matcha latte was amazing! Not too sweet and I love that the lavender syrup is house made. Such an underrated contribution to coffee shops. The matcha is quality you can tell by the color and taste. Of course how cute is the pink addition to my latte?? 9/10. Wish it was a bit creamier and it would've been 10/10!!!! The strawberry vegan croissant was insane! Tasted so fresh and can we talk about presentation??? 9/10 for me only because I wish there were MORE strawberries inside. The topping was delicious and perfect amount of sweetness. Flakey and filled with flavor. I snagged the last one and im so happy I did. Can't wait to come back and try other items! read more
Came here as a party of three on a weekend. It was not busy, which was great. We parked down the street. There is no indoor seating. Very fast casual vibe. Our drinks were made rather quickly. There was only one staff member. I ordered the Iced Pink Matcha Latte. It was a standard drink, which if you love the color pink, is perfect and cute. They didn't tell you if the drink was going to be pink, so I clarified and asked. I wouldn't say this is a noteworthy coffee shop. read more
I was really excited to try this place for their famous pink drink, until I found out it's just food dye! It's a regular latte with food dye. But the coffee was still really smooth. Pros: Fast and friendly service! Cute building and convenient location. Got the ice cold brew coffee, which was nice, refreshing and not too acidic. There were dairy free options like almond or oat milk. A few places to sit down outside and enjoy a drink with the very amusing scenery! I do like the walk up option. Cons: They had very few pastry options, and definitely no vegan options sadly. read more

It was a little bit over priced imo, but I feel that's pretty typical for LA. The staff were all really sweet and the place was super Instaworthy. Parking was easy and coffee tasted great. read more

This is a very cute little coffee stand. They do have outdoor seating only but not in the rain. The service is very cheerful, welcoming and polite. The coffee was so good. The almond croissant was very delicious. This almond croissant taste so good it brought me back to the memories of the almond croissant I had in San Francisco. The two women were so polite this morning and very helpful and recommend. I adore its charm and efficiency as a stand, they are incredibly quick. read more

Very cute coffee shop for a quick stop. They only have outdoor seating with a few umbrellas, so not ideal if in the middle of the day or with a larger group of people. The tables are small round ones with 2 chairs each, so seating could go quickly. The drinks themselves are great though! I got the matcha latte with almond milk and simple syrup. The hint of sweetness cut through the bitter matcha and was overall very refreshing. read more
If it's pink, I'm like totally there. Lol. I have had this place bookmarked for some time now. I was in the area so, I decided to get a very well deserved latte. Easy to find and easy to find parking. I saw at least two or three spots on the street on my walk over to this place (which wasn't a very long walk). I thought the drink could be better. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and of course, I wanted the pink aesthetic so I got it with the pink coloring. I felt the drink didn't justify the $8.00 price. I've had so much better for a lot less. I didn't think much of this drink. In fact, I didn't even finish it, which says a lot. I'm not sure if this is how it's usually made or if they were just having an off day, but I didn't enjoy it. Super cute spot though. read more
Being in the area, and wanting a coffee, I decided to try out Federal Coffee because of the great reviews. First off I love the design with lots of pink & tile & mural... it's super IG friendly :) I ordered a Gibraltar and it was very good :) You order at a walkup window and they have no indoor seating so I decided to sit at one of the sidewalk tables. The weather was so nice I decided to get a little work done while enjoying the coming and going of many dogs that brought their humans by for a treat :) The barista was friendly and made my drink fast. There is only street parking but I had no trouble finding a spot a block away. read more

I found another delicious coffee spot to add to my favorites! While driving around West LA, we spotted Federal Coffee. We busted a U-turn so quickly. There was parking right in front just waiting for us. The coffee shop is a walk-up, and you order through the window. The menu is short and sweet, which worked for us. I love the colors and the cuteness vibes this shop gives. I absolutely love the pink!! Hubby and I ordered an iced vanilla latte. They offer outdoor seating. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to take a seat. The sun felt amazing! Our order was ready in less than 5 minutes. Our first sip was mind-blowing delicious! It was sooooo yummy! We finished our drinks and got ready to look for a cupcake spot. As we were getting ready to head out, hubby decided to order another coffee. He got a cold brew coffee on tap. Sneaky sneaky, lol. read more
Super cute outdoor coffee place! We ordered by the window and they everything is considered an add on after the drink of choice + flavor + alternative milk flavor. I ordered the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and it was pretty good, not too strong. There are no restrooms since it's an outdoor coffee place. It was a great post-hike coffee drink. read more

What does the pink milk taste like?
I was just told that the pink is a coloring with no flavor... it makes their signature color but doesn't alter the taste of the coffee... which is very good :)
