I recently moved here from San Clemente and decided to go to Great Cuts and Colours. I was greeted by Ruby, loved her immediately and made an appointment for the next morning. Since then I have been back 6 times, my husband and sister also go there. Both Ruby and Armida are always professional and make you feel like family. Their prices are are incredibly cheap for the excellent job that they do. The place is always clean and welcoming. I have the bad habit of always calling at the last minute for an appointment. Ruby always takes care of me regardless how early she has to come in or how late she has to stay. I did read the comment of 11/27 but cannot see how the place would have been dirty when they had just opened 7 days before. If the person was happy at Haircutters why would she come specifically to this location to look for another place???? I agree with the rest of the reviews. If you want to be treated with respect and given excellent service go see Ruby or Armida, they are both amazingly talented lovely ladies. By the way they both speak perfect englsh!!!!! read more

First off I have to say Congrats to these two women for starting their own salon!! I have been getting my hair done by Ruby for quite a few years now. It was great to know that she has her own place now, I have always loved her customer service. She she constantly smiles, and is easy to talk to. Now for me, I love a hair stylist that can be my go-to "girlfriend." As for my hair, she always does a fabulous job, My color is always executed the way it should, and when my hair needs a trim, she knows just how much to cut, unlike some stylist who say they will cut an inch off and actually cute more!. I love my long hair, and she helps me keep it long and healthy! Ruby alo introduced me to Brazilian blow outs, now this product works wonders! It always leaves my hair shiny and healthy looking. Let me start this off by saying this place is filthy nasty dirty.. i wanted to try a new spot as i was going to the haircutters off of 79 as well and it has been a few months since i had been back due to the high cost that a woman armida had charged me. i come into this new location to see that there are two dingy chairs at two stations, and a trash can in the back really pathetic. only to find the woman behind the chair was actually Armida again. i felt so akward and had to run out before she noticed who i was. I then went back across the street to see that the haircutters was a completely cleaned up and i mean new stylists improved prices and cleaner. the staff is happy and energetic, i would def say go to the hircutters over this hole in the wall crappy salon. I made a great decision choosing Feathered Hair Salon. After almost 4 years of not stepping into a salon,I made a leap of faith.I went from long hair down to my butt to a short angled inverted bob. Not many stylists can get this right but, Keri Mariano did my hair and she was FanFreakin'-tastic!!! Love her spunk and hair skills. She knew what I wanted and made it happen. I walked out from that salon feeling light as a FEATHER!!! Aida at the front desk was just wonderful and motherly. Not the overbearing nosey kind either. She asked the right questions to get a feel of what I wanted and was just an amazing aura to have when you walk in. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a color, cut, or amazing style. Trisha was so helpful! I was visiting my son from out of town and being almost 89 years old I was having a difficult time being away from my own shower and familiar bathroom facilities. I needed to just have my hair washed and we found Trisha! She was able to accommodate me on the same day I asked and when I went in Trisha was so friendly and professional. I felt completely at ease as Trisha's hands were very gentle as she throughly washed my hair. Afterwards she complemented me on my hair coloring and gently blowed dry my hair. Stephanie has been my stylist for over a year now and I never want to lose her! She brings Beverly Hills to Temecula! Every time I leave after seeing her, I feel on top of the world. Stephanie gives me EXACTLY what I want, and more. Her cuts are about precision, class and style. The colors she uses are perfect on me and NEVER once did she damage or over-process when highlighting. I love Armida! She is awesome! I see her all the time and so does my husband. I won't see anyone else! Everyone here is very, very nice and service is excellent. Elevise and her mom are lovely people. Very knowledgeable about extensions as well, although I have not used them for that. Give them a shot! I think you will be very happy. I, of course, recommend Armida. Several here are bilingual as well. They also frequently run specials, which they advertise outside the salon, and I believe, elsewhere! You can't go wrong. Trisha did a great job taking the time to recommend, plan out and discuss the new hair coloring and cut I thought I was looking for. Trisha took notes and came up with the perfect hair color for me and did the work needed to make it happen! Feathered Hair Salon was my favorite salon to go to in LA, I was devastated when I found out they moved, but I just got my hair done at the brand new Temecula location and I am SO happy!!! The place is beautiful, with complimentary coffee and wine during your appointment! Evelise is my go to stylist and she is such a pro, she nails my color and cut and extensions every time. My hair stays healthy and is finally growing after years of trying to get it to be long because she really cares about the integrity of your hair. Highly recommend this place! This was my first visit to a Salon outside of Santa Monica, CA in nearly 20 years. I made an appointment with Trisha and I felt like I was in the hands of angel. She created the perfect environment and made me feel right at ease and comfortable with her personal level approach. WOW, WOW, WOW! Trisha invited me at the Temecula Chamber of Commerce. My haircut came out just the way I like it but I really felt engaged as a customer as well. Trisha was available (to my great good luck!) when I did an always risky first time walk-in and asked for a simple gentleman's haircut and nothing but. What I GOT was a haircut with subtle variances that she recommended and that thrilled my wife. At the same time, through her low key yet sophisticated banter, I learned good things about Temecula, where I had never been. Some of the best gaming. Best casino buffets. Best specialty restaurants. Was visiting the area and consulted Yelp for a hair salon suggestion. When I called they said come on, they'd fit me in. I have fine hair on top and had let all of it grow long and shaggy. Trish took me right on, made a few suggestions, got busy and 40 minutes later I left with clean hair, a beautiful haircut that accented my face and not my thinning top and a blow dry with a style. I went in to get a perm. Looked around for about a few days till I came across great cuts & colours. I ended up making an appointment to go in. When I went in Ileana helped me. She did a wonderful job. My hair is really long and extremely thick but she did great. It took a few hours which isn't too bad for my hair type. The pricing made everything even better. All in all I had a great experience and recommend Ileana. read more
