One of the best wineries I've been too. Server was very informative and gave extremely generous pours. Red Wine was very delicious. I'm from California and generally drink northern Cali wines and Temecula wines. This winery was amazing!!! If your in the area, it's a must stop! Cheers!! read more

. This was the first places we stumbled upon on our road trip in the hills of North Platte Nebraska and we quickly fell in love! . The landscape was gorgeous and green, the surroundings were peaceful and serene. . The wine tasting is in a quaint house-like building, super cute and new, that overlooks the attached winery through large windows. . Our hosts were kind, generous, knowledgeable about the wine, and helpful with some travel tips for the area. . I grabbed two bottles of wine, one red and one white, and a new wine glass! . This sweet winery has a picturesque backdrop and if you're ever near the area, this MUST be a stop on your list!! read more

We are road tripping from Lincoln to Laramie, WY and stopped in to Feather River to take a drive break. The drive up is just as beautiful as the winery itself. The wine was amazing. Michelle served us and was very helpful and a treat to talk with as well! There will definitely be many more stops to this venue. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped at Feather River Winery on our drive from Minneapolis to Denver, and I thought it was wonderful! Off the beaten path for sure, but only 10 minutes from the I-80 exit in North Platte. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the tasting portions were generous for only $5. The wines were better than I was expecting - definitely not comparable to wines from northern California or Oregon, but pretty darn good for cold weather in the middle of the country grape-growing! read more

I love Jake. We were rushing from Lexington and he welcomed us with a smile. I wasn't a fan of every wine but liked the distinct differences. I would advise a covered outdoor space for sipping wine but it's a great place!!! And again, Team Jake!!! read more

We were visiting family in North Platte and my mother-in-law mentioned Feather River was a quick drive from the house. We were lucky to be there when it was not crowded and enjoyed the wine tasting. On our trip back to Omaha from North Platte, we decided to stop by Feather River for a tasting. It was a bit out of the way and a little sparse when compared to the other local wineries. It looked like a house sitting next to a vineyard. Unfortunately, there were few places to sit outside to enjoy the vineyard and the scenery (or lack thereof). The server was very nice and allowed us to try as many of the wins as we'd liked for the cost of a $5 tasting. I am definitely not a wine connoisseur but I've had enough to know what I like and what I don't. None of the wines that I tried were good enough to make me want to buy a bottle to take it home. I will say that the place was pretty busy on this particular day so they must be doing something right. In my opinion, it places in comparison to some of the other Nebraska wineries like Whiskey Run Creek, Soaring Wings, and Slattery Vineyard Estates. read more
