It's a bit cozy, but the sightlines are solid and the venue's top shelf sound and lighting makes sure the main act will look and sound good. Please arrive early if you want a good spot.

Retro theater is going strong…read more This small movie theater is still alive because of the college as they give a great student discount on tickets. If they didn't have that I am not sure it would stay afloat. Here you have to buy directly at the ticket counter or prepaid online, but no assigned seats so you need to go early or you risk not being sat with your group. The screen rooms are not stadium seating so its a slight lower slope. A seat in the back at this place is actually the best. The seats are leather material but do not recline or have any features like adjustable arm rests -- just a comfy chair. The concessions are mid and lack luster so I recommend eating before your film and just enjoy a box of candy and slushy there if you need to. For accessibility it's decent with the accessibility parking on the side. They need automatic doors. The bathroom smelled awful so I just washed my hands and got out.

This is a small movie theatre in the city of Columbia and overall it is good for what it is! It is…read morevery small with only a few theatre rooms and small concessions stand so there can be a wait to get your tickets and get inside the theaters. The prices are reasonable especially since they give student discounts! I can tell this theatre is old because the seats are quite worn but if you're just looking to see a casual movie the prices are reasonable. I cannot comment on the concessions since I haven't bought any though

The first band came out and the bass player and guitar player had them adjust their levels up. But they never turned up the vocals, so we could not hear the singer. When the next act came out, they immediately noticed and kept having to turn up the mics. Hang Your Hate and TROY put on a great show. Thanks everyone in the bands and behind the scenes.

I visited a couple of times during the course of the True/False film fest. Cute little theater! Not…read morevery large, but I was able to get into the screenings. The floor is not sloped, so if a very tall person sits in front of you, oh welllll. I will also say, the screening room only has one aisle to get into the seats, and it was a bit tight to squeeze past people if the only seats open were against the wall. I was also surprised that the bar served drinks in real glasses. Definitely saw a few broken wine glasses, which :E Sounds like I am full of nothing but complaints, but it is a nice microcinema and I would visit for a regular screening if I'm ever there not for the fest!
