The prices are super cheap compared to the other places and any number of people can play. They also allow you to bring your own paint, which can save you some $. We were also introduced to kickboxing and LOVED it! Even if you're not planning to be the next champion, this would be a fun way to get a serious workout.

All the staff are friendly and willing to listen to anything that we suggest to make a better playing experience for the Airsoft community in general. Personally salute them for their ability to build up a safe community of play and still allow us to do what it is that we do. Doesn't get much better and that's coming from a person that drives 45 minutes just to play here for the atmosphere.

Went to Battlecreek for my Birthday with my family and it was a fun day. We played Lazer tag and…read morethrew some axes. We were the only ones there and had full run of the place. I have spent many a weekend at a paintball field and this place has most of the features you get at one. The parking lot needs some work. There is limited parking due to debris and the parking area is a little rough but the potential is there. It could be easily cleaned up. The lazer tag field is decent and we had alot of fun but there were a few hiccups with the equipment getting it dialed in. The axe throwing area is good and also has a ton of potential. The lanes are good and targets were good but the selection of axes needs to be sharpened and they were mostly all rusty from being left outside. There was no one playing paintball at the time and I was thankful for that as 2/3 of the safety nets need to be fixed or replaced. There looks to be a single paintball field and it looked pretty decent but the netting would be an issue for the people off field. The rental markers for paintball looked like what you would expect at a field. One major negative is that there is no restroom or port a potty onsite. From my observation they need to get a porta potty, fix the nets and fix the parking lot and you would really be able to make something happen at this little place.

My eleven year old enjoyed his birthday party at Gateway Paintball Park. However, I was…read moredisappointed that our party's referee packed the gun hoppers to the gills after each battle which meant that we were out of ammo only halfway into our playtime and forced to purchase more ammo at $65 per box. The price we paid for the party would have been fair if the entire playtime were covered, but I was very frustrated at being caught off guard with this additional cost last minute. So my recommendation is to tell your ref to be conservative with the ammo or plan on purchasing at least one more box of ammo (at minimum).

Place was organized, staff was friendly, and they were a big proponent of safety. Definitely recommend getting the group reservation as everything is set up when you get there- pavilion, guns, personal ref, equipment, and barbecue needs all provided for. Gabe, our ref, knew his stuff as well as did the other staff members to make the experience enjoyable even for new players. Only thing I will say is some of the guns jammed and spit out multiple paintballs on occasion instead of shooting, but it didn't ruin anything and is expected with older and rented equipment. Looking forward to coming back here again soon.
