Which it appeared to be. You get rice/veggies then you choose your protein. They list chicken, filet, shrimp, steak, and beef (I think) with a price next to it. It states "Choose Two". I wanted to be clear so I asked the waiter "so, I pick 2 meats and I still get it for the lunch special price?" And he said yes. But then came my bill. It was over $30!!! So I asked him about it and he said that I'm paying for each one (essentially you are buying 2 meals). I said "but it says choose two and I asked you before I ordered". He said "yea but you don't have to choose two" and I was like "then why does it SAY choose two and why didn't you tell me when I asked you??". Don't get me wrong...the food was good. But that plate certainly was not $33 good. I could have went out and had an actual filet mignon with sides and a salad for that much. I mean it's all cooked on the same griddle at once with the teriyaki so essentially the entire meal has the exact same flavor (it's not like the steak tasted like a flame broiled steak). I really did enjoy the place very much and I can't say enough how excellent the service was (our waiter was awesome as well). I just felt very deceived by the wording on the menu as well as the waiter not telling me. As great as he was...he absolutely knew that I was asking specifically if I was paying for the shrimp and the steak separately but he didn't tell me. So he did 'make the sale' for the restaurant but sad to say the money that would've been his tip went to the bill instead for him essentially charging me for 2 meals.
