For a quick, easy and cheap Italian fix located in the boonies at a truck stop, this is the place to go. The food isn't the best but it ain't the worst. Spaghetti, lasagna, baked ziti and pizza are my go to items. Oh and who can forget about their breadsticks? They're actually better than Olive Garden. Only downside ,their salads are pre-made so it may have things that you might not care for, like mozzarella. Service is usually hit or miss and there is plenty of room and tables to sit at. read more

I was on my way to get my favorite food from Fazoli's and they have the nerve to tell me "sorry we're closed" when there was 15 mins left till closing time. The place closes at 9pm not 8:45pm. Don't recommend this place especially for the way they spoke to me. read more

Haven't been to a Fazoli's since I was a young person living in Waco! Didn't even know they were still around. I vaguely remembered I really enjoyed it and figured I'd give it a try. Magnificent!! The cashier was spectacular. The food was great and they have a very decent military discount. Love this place!! read more

The Kid at register tried to serve me a salad that was brown and wilted, when I brought it up to the kid he went back and brought me out another salad (pictured) saying this is how salads look and there's nothing wrong with the brown and wilt that it's because the salads come frozen. He assured me that it was how salads look. If they are tough that this is how salads look I'm scared to eat there again. Who knows what else is (normal) there... read more

Really felt like having pasta, and remembered how much we liked Fazolis When we got take out before. Ordered two baked spaghetti's, as combos. One with salad. One with cheese pizza. Very unorganized employees. Took forever for someone to take my order, and when we started to eat. Was not in the least tasty. Very dry spaghetti, with some melted cheese. The salad had what I call ugly lettuce, brown edges, thick pieces from the core of a lettuce head. Won't be stopping by again. read more

So just had it for the first time and truth be told never again ... I ordered the Chicken Alfredo they brought it out and it was extremely watery almost like a chicken Alfredo soup. They brought back another one a little better . But wasn't any better as far as the food tasting good . Sauce is extremely bland . Chicken was really salty . Decided to stop for lunch with my husband since we work nearby. We both got the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce and upgraded with a soda and a piece of pizza. Food was hot and plenty. First time at a Fazolis. Will be back! Whitney was fantastic! Exceptional service with a smile from the moment we walked in. Got our order exactly right and followed up with us several times to make sure we're were alright like we were like at a more upscale place. Found out they had a Fazolis here as I was visiting SA. Had fazolis a while back when they still had one in WI. I was expecting the same quality but I feel like it different now taste wise. I ended up getting the chicken carbonara. It was alright wasn't the greatest. It also came with unlimited breadsticks when you dined in. The breadsticks were super soft but super salty. read more

This is unbelievable they gave me a lot of pasta with a little bit of chicken and I asked them for more sauce. They say that I have to pay for more sauce when they barely put sauce on the top of my pasta. Plus, the lady was rude. And not to be racist. It was a black lady that said that I couldn't get more sauce on my pasta I thought all Black people supposed to stand together but honestly, I see that they don't. On our way to Louisiana for a friend's wedding, we planned our trip to give us an opportunity to stop here at Fazoli's since we no longer have them in AZ. I was a little surprised to find it attached to a travel center, but the restaurant was very clean when we walked in. We ordered and didn't have long to wait for our food. It was every bit as good as we remembered. The bread sticks were soft, fresh and flavorful ( and if you dine in, you can have as many as you want while you are there ). We had orders of chicken fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti, and pizza. The portions are huge, the food very tasty and fresh, and the whole experience was wonderful. If you are feeding kids, the portions are definitely shareable. (Now if we can only convince Fazoli's to come back to Phoenix we'd be set!) read more

I absolutely love Fazolis!!! I lived in north texas and they have this faster food Italian place all over. This one doesn't have a drive through but it's worth a stop!!! They have really delicious food and great prices. We got a family meal and it comes with two pasta dishes choices. We got spaghetti and fettuccine Alfredo. It also comes with a family size salad, we got Caesar. We got 8 breadsticks and it's a lot of food!! All for $26.00 It's a really good deal. They have salads and tons of Italian options !! Let me start off by saying we drove from the Dominion (30 miles) to go to this Fazolis lol. We were excited that San Antonio finally opened one, I mean those breadsticks! This location is connected to a truck stop so I didn't know what to expect as we walked in. The dining area was clean and welcoming. After placing our order, the food was delivered promptly by the manager, Latisha (I believe) who offered us freshly grated parmigiana cheese. I don't know if this is the normal procedure at Fazoils however I don't recall ever being offered cheese on any prior visits to other locations- it was a nice touch. The food was delivered at perfect temperature and amazing as always. Latisha (I hope that's her name) checked on us two or three times by offering hot breadsticks and clearing our plates. For a second I thought I was at Chick-fil-a or even an Italian sit down restaurant with a server. I previously worked in hospitality and managed a restaurant for over 10 years, so service and attention to detail jump out at me. This location was exceptional and Latisha and her staff did an amazing job making our dining experience extremely enjoyable. read more

Pasta was somehow greasy (?) when it arrived to our table. Pizza slices took 40 minutes to get to us (?) when all they were was pre-made looking slices that had been run thru the oven-you can tell because the cut crust edges were crispy like they'd been cut way before hitting the oven. Good thing my teenage son will eat almost anything after waiting that long for it. Breadsticks were pretty much the only item in our order that we actually found tasty. Cashier & server was great, bless his heart, he was working his butt off. But the cooks & whoever else was "working" definitely didn't give a crap. The server even told us that one of the cooks "is pissed off, so I'm not guaranteeing that he'll put your sauce to the side even though I put it on the ticket". Sure enough, my alfredo came to the table with sauce on it, and chicken (which was not ordered nor paid for!). Sent it back only to get the greasy half-warm plain pasta back with a little cup of sauce on the side. I felt bad having to ask for every little thing from the guy who was actually busy doing his job (like some salt, and some cheese to sprinkle on the nasty pasta) but since they haven't gone back to having those items on the table, it was necessary to ask for it & it be brought to our table by the server. read more

Had the smoky chicken carbonara. It was burning hot, had a GENEROUS amount of chicken and veggies. Plenty of sauce, and lots of melted cheese on top. I didn't feel like they were trying to "fill me up on pasta" if you know what I mean. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, the chicken was seasoned well. The bread was soft, warm, and slightly crusty with a light garlic flavor. Food came out quick, cashier was friendly, tables were clean, not a thing wrong with this place! A+++!!! read more

Worst fettuccine chicken alfredo I ate. Noodles were over cooked, alfredo sauce was like soup water. Bread chicken pieces, really? I'd rather pay $2 for a Marie Calendars chicken alfredo than eat this again. This is my 2nd time eating at Fazoli's, 1st time at this location. 1st time at Fazoli's was in Lexington, KY which I wasn't too impressed but this experience has definitely help made my decision to avoid this restuarant. read more

I've missed Fazolis since they closed the Houston location and I'm so glad to have one close since I've moved to San Antonio. There really isn't anything quite like it, quality, affordable, Fast Food Italian. I'm a big fan of the baked spaghetti, and the bread sticks are pretty great. It's really the best (and probably only) sub-$10 Italian Food you'll find. read more

This was my first time going here. Its like a fast food Italian resturant. I got spaghetti with Spicy tomatoe sauce. It was realllllllly good. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because I needed a bigger portion. I would have like more! The bread sticks were soft and good too. I got the side salad with house dressing. It was a sweet Italian dressing. I am still a little hungry though. Lol read more

I am OBSESSED. I've lived in San Antonio my entire life and had not heard of this place until today when I was craving pasta but did not want to leave the comfort of my own home. Favor Delivery recommended this restaurant so I decided to give it a try!! I got baked chicken parm, pepperoni and cheese breadsticks and a aide Caesar salad all for $12!!!! Omg. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. Would have appreciated more effort into making sure we were taken care of considering the meal for 2 totaled almost 300$. The only reason this isn't a one star is because of the kind waiting staff.

It did look like a nice place to sit and have a few drinks, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I'll probably give it another shot, but maybe not.

When the owner/waitress brought out the bread, I took a piece and was told, "The bread is for people who bought food. If you want bread, buy some." Considering that our family was there with a party of around 20 people and has been supporting this restaurant for years, it was surprising and disappointing to be spoken to that way. My own family members at the table were offering me bread, yet I was made to feel unwelcome over a single piece. It felt like being told that people can't share food at the same table, which seems unreasonable. To make matters worse, my cousin also had a negative experience regarding the tip. Because the gratuity wasn't added to the receipt, the owner reportedly wanted to see proof of the tip before the party left. My cousin was planning to leave a cash tip on the table, but asking a customer to show or prove their tip is inappropriate and unprofessional. The food is still excellent, which makes this experience even more disappointing. However, customer service matters, and after being treated this way, I don't plan on returning.
