Haven't been to a Fazoli's since I was a young person living in Waco! Didn't even know they were still around. I vaguely remembered I really enjoyed it and figured I'd give it a try. Magnificent!! The cashier was spectacular. The food was great and they have a very decent military discount. Love this place!!

Side salad

The Kid at register tried to serve me a salad that was brown and wilted, when I brought it up to the kid he went back and brought me out another salad (pictured) saying this is how salads look and there's nothing wrong with the brown and wilt that it's because the salads come frozen. He assured me that it was how salads look. If they are tough that this is how salads look I'm scared to eat there again. Who knows what else is (normal) there...

I travel over 30 minutes often to get my fazoli fix! So yummy! A little place with a big taste! Unlimited breadsticks! Need I say more???

Decided to stop for lunch with my husband since we work nearby. We both got the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce and upgraded with a soda and a piece of pizza. Food was hot and plenty. Pasta was a bit more than al dente but it was tolerable. They brought us a lot of breadsticks. 9 to be exact. They're my favorite. The come out hot and garlicky. Will return.

Miss having Fazolis in Houston. So when we found out there was Fazolis in San Antonio we were thrilled to try. Unfortunately we did not know it would be connected to a gas station. Food was good but could be better. We were sure nothing was made fresh from scratch. But it was ok.

Found out they had a Fazolis here as I was visiting SA. Had fazolis a while back when they still had one in WI. I was expecting the same quality but I feel like it different now taste wise. I ended up getting the chicken carbonara. It was alright wasn't the greatest. It also came with unlimited breadsticks when you dined in. The breadsticks were super soft but super salty.

On our way to Louisiana for a friend's wedding, we planned our trip to give us an opportunity to stop here at Fazoli's since we no longer have them in AZ. I was a little surprised to find it attached to a travel center, but the restaurant was very clean when we walked in. We ordered and didn't have long to wait for our food. It was every bit as good as we remembered. The bread sticks were soft, fresh and flavorful ( and if you dine in, you can have as many as you want while you are there ). We had orders of chicken fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti, and pizza. The portions are huge, the food very tasty and fresh, and the whole experience was wonderful. If you are feeding kids, the portions are definitely shareable. (Now if we can only convince Fazoli's to come back to Phoenix we'd be set!)

You wouldn't think a restaurant attached to a gas station would offer the best food or service, however this place is just incredible. The staff is excellent and the food is delicious. Clean restaurant, plenty of seating. Overall great experience.

Dinner with the family. Something new is good. Amigables, clean I not expert but the food is good flavor. What u think?

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

I started with a Hugo spritz, which was light, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted to kick things off. Later, I had a carajillo, and it was just as perfect--smooth, rich, and a great way to wind down the night. We couldn't get enough of the burrata... so much so that we ordered two! It was incredibly creamy and paired so well with the fresh toppings and bread. Definitely a must-order. And of course, we had to end with dessert--the tiramisu was unbelievably creamy and indulgent, with just the right balance of sweetness and espresso flavor. Absolute perfection. Between the cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and delicious food, Renzo's is such a gem. Highly recommend for a chill night out or happy hour with friends!

Coordinating a big table can be tricky, but the service here was *outstanding* from start to finish. Our server kept everything organized, drinks refilled, and plates coming out smoothly without anyone feeling rushed. Everyone in our group felt really well taken care of, which made the whole evening relaxed and fun. The food was just as impressive. Truly every person at the table seemed to love what they ordered -- we had a lot of "you have to try this!" moments being passed around the table. One thing I especially appreciated was the Caesar salad. I noticed another review mentioning the anchovy flavor in the dressing as a negative, but in my opinion, that's exactly what made it great. For me a Caesar should have that briny anchovy depth, and this one tasted freshly made and perfectly balanced. It felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Between the warm atmosphere, truly fantastic service, and food that everyone enjoyed, it made for a really memorable evening. We'll absolutely be back! Thank you Renzo's for taking such great care of us!

Not too hot, just that easy breeze rolling off the river like it's got nowhere else to be. I'm there with my daughter and family, and the world's walking by boats cruising, people laughing, a little chaos, a little charm... dinner and a show, no ticket required. Now the food real Italian food. Not the kind that just throws red sauce at you and hopes for the best. This is layered. Garlic that actually means something. Rich, buttery sauces clinging to perfectly cooked pasta like they're in a lifelong commitment. You taste herbs, you taste depth it's the kind of Italian food that makes you slow down mid-bite and just nod like, "Yeah... they got this right." Drinks? Smooth enough to keep ordering, strong enough to make you question your life choices in the best way. Service was dialed in. Nobody missing, nobody stressed just right there when you needed them, like they were reading your mind or watching you a little too closely... either way, it worked. And the atmosphere? That's where it gets dangerous. Because you sit there watching the River Walk roll by, the noise, the laughter, the movement... and suddenly two hours disappear. You're ordering dessert you didn't plan on, another drink you don't need, and nobody at the table's in a hurry to leave. I came for Italian food... ...and ended up staying for everything else.

The ambience within the premises is also lovely with that of a cellar vibe, low lighting (at night) and of course the water which works well. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. Menu-The menu was quite extensive. However, would not normally attend a place this pricey, but it was a special occasion & you tend get what you pay for. Meals- We ordered the Capellini Pomodoro Crudo & the Spaghetti ( Spicy ) The red sauce is delicious on the spaghetti. The Crudo, it was a little disappointing. It hardly had any roasted tomatoes in it and large chunks of mozzarella that never melted. The olive oil was very present & not much else. Would have been better tossed with some of that spicy tomato sauce! (see pics). Note-Advise you to make a reservation! We were fortunate: as we went late in the evening, no wait time, seated outside & they were still fairly busy. The restaurant offers a private cruise dining $ experience. So we went online and made a reservation. Upon arrival, we had a large round table set for 10 ready for us. Our waiter, Rami, was really nice and worked hard all evening to take good care of us. The restaurant itself is along a quiet area of the River Walk in an old stone building with tons of charm. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a group dinner. As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. I was excited for the Goat Cheese Pizza with balsamic onion, pistachio, and saba. The thin crust, however, was almost too crunchy and a bit tough to eat. The toppings didn't stand out as much as I had hoped, likely because they were overbaked together. Overall, we had a lovely dinner with great service, a charming atmosphere, and good - but not great - food. 4 stars for now. I would return and try again.

However we realized quickly EVERYONE was waiting outside and they had clearly overbooked or had some issue. Finally, after waiting 20 minutes we were sat. The waittress was kind and let us know the kitchen was having some issues so food would be a little delayed between courses. It was about 60 degrees outside and we kindly asked to turn off the outside fans which were on full blast. Once. Then again, and again, and again. After 5 attempts asking various people we gave up and the waitress let us know she couldnt turn them off because their iPad control died. We werent upset at this we were just upset we kept getting different answers and no explanation for our entire 2+ hr meal. We finished the entree and were waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes until we finally just flagged down a waittress and asked to get the check and desert to go because we were ready to leave. We waited another 10 minutes before someone else brought us our desert but no check. We asked them for the check and then the original waitress came back with our check and another set of deserts. At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. Would have appreciated more effort into making sure we were taken care of considering the meal for 2 totaled almost 300$. The only reason this isn't a one star is because of the kind waiting staff.

As far as the food, we had the fried mozzarella, which was essentially a log of cheese deep-fried and served over sauce. It was delicious, but the cheese-to-crust ratio was a bit heavy. The Caesar salad looked better than it tasted. It was very wet, if that makes sense, and the lettuce seemed soggy. Now for the Wagyu ragu. This almost made me have a seizure, and not in a good way. It was extremely salty and completely inedible, so we had to send it back. The waitstaff was very accommodating and agreed that the salt level was way off, so we replaced it with the carbonara. I'm not sure if that's what authentic carbonara is supposed to taste like, but I did not enjoy it. It tasted burnt to me and had too much pepper. I also didn't care for the shape of the noodles. Last, we had the Americano pizza. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. I just think that if you're going to advertise a pizza with meat on it, there should be more than one piece of sausage per slice. As far as the service, our server was fine. Not particularly friendly, but straightforward and efficient. The manager (or another server) was helpful when it came to replacing our dish. Overall, I would not go back. The location is great and the vibe is nice, but the food was a miss. Save your money and go somewhere else.
