This was by far the best place to get home cook Italian food. A group of us decided to eat here…read morebecause it was convenient and seemed kid friendly. We were from out of town attending a funeral and it was close to our hotel. No one left hungry. In fact, we all left and was ready for bed we were so full. We could barely walk out to our vehicles. First, for starters, the Caesar dressing for the salad was absolutely amazing. We had asked the manager if we could purchase a container of it to take home. It's their homemade Caesar dressing and you could taste the artichokes. It was delicious! They served complimentary bread with the usual olive oil and seasoning for dipping. The bread wasn't to hard or too soft, it was just right. I could eat the whole plate by myself. I ordered the salmon with their homemade dressing on the pasta, it was so yummy. At first, I contemplated because it was an Italian restaurant and I was ordering salmon... but I came with a group of people who all ordered a number of different dishes, so I knew I would get to sample all the other dishes. I tried their meatball spaghetti and many other dishes I can't remember them all. But every bit of it was delicious. We thanked the owner for their service. We barely had room for dessert, but we ordered them too. The tiramisu was the best. Highly recommend this restaurant. You will not regret it!

A friend of mine chose this relatively new place, and I'm glad that he did! It was my first time…read moreeating here. We split a side salad, and I opted for the balsamic dressing. It, the red onions, and the variety of greens made for a delicious starter. The restaurant must have run out of black olives, because overly salty Kalamata olives were instead placed on my salad. My friend and I settled on sharing the LaBocca's Favorite Pizza, which was topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon, green bell peppers, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, red onions, and Roma tomatoes. The pizza's crust tasted homemade, and was delicious. The toppings were really fresh, but I found the olives far too salty for my palate. Our waitress provided efficient and friendly service, refilling our drinks periodically. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated, with murals on the walls; and there was a baby grand piano topped with flowers. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would like to return again in order to try more of the menu options! 3.75 stars rounded up to 4 stars.

The salads come out swimming in dressing, so order light no matter what. Our entrées were a mixed bag: the cheese pizza was rubbery, the lobster and shrimp gnocchi was oddly tomato-heavy and fell flat, and the chicken piccata -- while decent -- was watery and served over a thicker noodle than you'd expect. If you're in Jonesboro and craving Italian, this is your only sit-down option, so sometimes you don't have a choice. Just load up on appetizers and temper your expectations for the main course.

My friend and I dined here recently for an early supper. It was my very first visit to this…read moreestablishment. We were both craving salads, so I had the whole-sized Greek salad. Mine was a bit disappointing, as it merely had black, sliced, pizza olives on it (as well as tomatoes, lettuce, etc.) Just a few Kalamata olives would have dramatically elevated the salad. My friend's house salad looked far more flavorful, and he said that he enjoyed it. We split a personal-sized pizza, with individualized ingredients for us on each half. However, it took awhile for our pizza to arrive. Initially, somebody else's small pizza was accidentally delivered to our table, but our waitress caught the mistake and took it away. I would have eaten it, though. The ingredients used on our shared pizza were both flavorful and fresh: pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and red onions. During their Friday early-dinner time, the establishment's atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant. I liked how this out-of-the-way joint had a friendly, neighborhood vibe to it, and that it wasn't jam-packed with college students. I was impressed that live music began at about 6:00 pm. A guitarist/singer going by the name Madison Ellen (Mothershed) adeptly covered tunes from various musical eras. She even took song requests. Her voice had a very pleasant tone, and her guitar-playing was quite impressive. I look forward to buying her album when she releases it in a few months! Our waitress, Lindsay, was friendly, informative, and efficient. I would be pleased to sit in her section again. I liked how she was open to feedback about the food menu and bar offerings. (For instance, I suggested that they offer more than merely the inferior O'Doul's as their sole nonalcoholic beer selection.) Three-and-half stars, rounded up to four stars; mainly due to the nicely relaxing atmosphere, as well as the excellent live music without a cover charge. I recommend this eatery, and hope to return again soon in order to try more of their pizzas.
