I eat Slims about once a week. It's located right next to my office. So on busy days where I need to grab food fast and get back to work I order online and walk over to get it. I've tried several different things from here. Let me tell you about my favorites. The highlights. There are three. 1. The chicken tenders with sweet Thai chili. This sauce is the best if you ask me. I sometimes go for mango habanero. But my absolute favorite is the Thai. I'm not even going to comment on the chicken. It's fried chicken. It's pretty good. The end. 2. Fried mushrooms. Look, I know it's not for everyone. But my absolute favorite thing about Slims are this mushrooms. I get them every damn time. They're horribly unhealthy. They're freakishly greasy. But, omg, they're amazing. 3. Strawberry lemonade. No longer available. I hope they bring this back. Their strawberry lemonade got me hooked on lemonade. Never was much of a fan until I decided to go out in a limb and try it. I instantly fell in love. Man, of all the chicken places I think this is the best. I know people are super in love with Christian Chicken - and I like them, too - but I just think Slims is better. Sorry bout it. Go give it a try. Funny story, my bosses boss (a senior chief with the navy) came to town one day to visit my office. I was out of the office all day so I never really saw him. The next day he called me. He said, "PS3, have you ever tried that chicken place?" I told him I had. He said, "Have you tried the cayenne chicken sandwich?" I told him no. He said, "You need to try it. That's all. I just wanted to tell you that, bye." It's funny because he literally only ever calls me if there's a problem to fix. This day he just wanted to brag in Slim Chickens. Lol read more

The quality used to be significantly better, as well as the service. We stood at the counter for a very long time waiting to get served and the food took forever to come out. The salad I got was very old did not look up to quality at all. read more

I ordered a hungry meal and when I opened the box there were 2-3 roaches inside of the box. I pulled around back went inside and was refunded for my two meals two desserts and never returned. ROACHES read more

Went here on my home from a long trip and I thought the food was good. The atmosphere was decent per say. The service could've been a little faster but other than that it was okay. read more

Food was delicious. All the kids were happy with their food, rare occasion. Place was clean. Waitress was very nice. Reasonable prices.

Awesome chicken. But what did you do to the potato salad? It used to be so good. But now it is pethy like it has been frozen or something. Put it back the way it used to be. read more

On point every time! Tender chicken, excellent sauces and incredible service! In the summer time the strawberry salad is so yummy. read more

Great food. Found it by mistake since they were the only decent place open after 10 pm.

Went today with my son. I ordered sandwich meal then asked what he wanted. He replied 6 wings. When the girl brought order to the table it was my meal and a box of 6 bbq sauces...no wings!! So, that same girl said she said order back but I know I said wings! Like hello, who orders 6 sauces to eat. She had a rude tude to begin with. Why work with people if you hate it?? After fixing order food was not hot and bacon tasted bad. I won't bother going back again. No thanks. read more

They were very busy the night I went in and the drive thru was wrapped around the place so opted to go in. Parked on the wrong side of the building and found it challenging to make my way around to the entry. Once inside however the place was simple but very nice and the folks taking orders very nice and helpful. I ordered wings with a side of mushrooms. Everything was very tasty and they arrived quickly. Fresh and hot all entrees arrived. I lobe returning next time I'm in town. read more

I came here for lunch during my visit to Jonesboro. It was fairly empty surprisingly. I've visited a Slim Chickens back in Texas and I was a fan of the food which is why this place was a safe bet. The chicken was tender and the house sauce was delicious. The place was a bit on the dirtier side: sticky floors and dirty tables. It seemed that there weren't that many employees that day either but that just may be the norm at this location. Overall, decent food for a quick bite to eat. read more

Ordered 5 chicken tenders with their hottest sauce yesterday. It was mediocre, but I ate it because I was hungry. Today I woke up to food poisoning. I have been throwing up and in pain all day. Thanks Slim Chickens. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Last time I ever go here. read more

Come here with new friends who are locals. Can honestly say...generic. the one and ONLY thing that stood out was their Mason jar desserts. Other than that it like every other general fried chicken fast food restaurant. Sure, it was clean, pretty fast, and nice service but really...generic. Fried chicken was hot and fresh. Fried pickles were way over salty and over cooked. The coleslaw was fresh and nice. Clean restaurant in a strip plaza. Honestly that is about all I have to say. Generic. read more

Amazing and good and the food is good I love the chicken strips and the fries are on point

Omg! Omg! Omg! This place is the best chicken in all of Jonesboro! Service PERFECT! Clean restaurant including bathrooms! I love it!

Casual eatery in a strip center bay on Red Wolf Boulevard near ASU. Fayetteville-based chain started in 2003, franchised in Arkansas / Texas / Oklahoma / Hand-breaded Chicken Tenders / Buffalo Wings / Handmade Dipping Sauces / Sides / Dessert / Order & pay @ the counter, then your meal is cooked & served hot. I've seen this location with a line out the door on Sundays after Church. On a Friday night during Football season, it's practically empty. read more

Just finished eating my wing meal and they were horrible. Very dry and very little meat. Will never go back again. My son had wings and tenders and he said his tenders were so dry he couldn't eat them either. read more

Always a reliable place to go whenever you're hungry. Always a safe option! My recommendation is the chicken strips!

Always delicious chicken!!! Fast and friendly service and always hot food! Never had anything bad from here but I absolutely love the lemonade, tenders and honey mustard!!! read more

Great wings! And other selections like their chicken salads are great too. The wing plate is eight wings, fries, and toasted bread. I'm a sucker for the wing plate and a fried pie. It's a nice quick stop. I love the soundtrack they play. It's a mix of blues and old R&B. read more

Delicious Delicious Delicious Chicken Wraps!! Friendly and fast Service. Very Affordable Pricing. The interior of the place is really cool also. Great Popular College Eats place in Jonesboro, AR. Definitely Recommend for anybody to check out. Also gives me that warm comfort food feeling when I eat there. My girlfriend first showed me this place and I'm glad she did! read more

I love this place!! They have pretty fair prices but there is nothing fair about their chicken because they are crushing the rest of the competition!! I am not from the area so I was skeptical going anywhere but zaxbys. Slim Chickens goes above and beyond to make their food great. Everything from the wings to the tenders and the fries. read more

Very pleasant experience as soon as my wife and I entered the restaurant. Everyone very nice and helpful, food was perfect will definitely be back read more

Food is really good but workers have been impolite a couple of times already. I don't know if there's been a change in management or what. The manager at the window (her name is Lucky) trying to cover up for an employee called Lawryn just made up that an inexistent employee had been the impolite one on the speaker. Lame way of handling customer service. Respect has to be the #1 rule. read more

Grub Hub did not deliver my extra order of fries and Faith was the kindest person and stayed open past close and let me get my fries !!! GIVE FAITH A RAISE !!!!!!!! read more

I've always loved slims! Food is always great but service is hit or miss at this location! It takes a little longer because they "make everything fresh" but totally worth the extra time and money! I think there has to have been a change of management or something over the past couple months. Employees went from great to acting like you're bothering them! read more

Pretty good chicken, but did not enjoy the fact that literally with every bite I had grease getting squeezed out of the tenders. They were tasty, don't get me wrong, just a little too greasy for my liking. Fries were typical and bland. Sauces were good! read more

Chicken tenders are VERY good especially with the spicy BBQ dipping sauce My husband ordered the Cayenne tender sandwich and it was just mediocre, so he will definitely be ordering the tenders next time. Also really love the shape and flavor of the fries. Customer service was also great through the drive thru. Will definitely go again! read more

Food and service were pretty good but nothing really stood out to me as special. If I want chicken I usually go elsewhere because of the variety or its better tasting. read more

The food is good and fresh. The chicken itself could be seasoned better but don't be mistaken. It's the best chicken restaurant on the area. Nice quiet atmosphere but easy to miss if you aren't looking in the right spot. Has many nice little shops in the area, though many are furniture and appliance stores. read more

Went tonight with the family and our fries were so salty we could not eat them. Explained to the manager and all he offered was that he would watch his employee. read more

My review tonight isn't about the food, but the service. I'm sure all kitchens can crash. But being 1 out of 4 people in the drive through me being the second car. I waited 20 minutes for my food. The inside wasn't busy, I counted 5 heads, and watched the beginning of despicable me on the DVD player in the car in front of me along with starving kiddos. After the SUV in front of me was served it took another 10 minutes for my food. If you want to be served promptly or are in any kind of hurry do not dine here. Although the cashiers where very nice and seemed frustrated with the kitchen. Either the kitchen cooked the chicken individually piece by piece or was half assing their job. Which if I owned this store I would have fired them on the spot. I'm sure there are plenty of people in Jonesboro looking for jobs that would actually do them. read more

I love their food, but their drive through is so painstakingly slow that I could have left after putting in my order, gotten food somewhere else, and come back before the first dude in the drive through got his meal. There were 2 people in front of us and barely anyone inside, and it took me 22 minutes from when I placed my order to when I got my food. Unacceptable. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town...definitely in my top 5. If you are in the area, you must go here...maybe for a quick lunch. I usually get the Chicks Plate with fried pickles, slims sauce, and cayenne ranch. read more
