THEY ARE VERY RUDE HERE!!! I was told my shirt would be ready by Saturday, so I called today (Sunday) simply to get an update. The man on the phone informed me it was not ready--which is fine--but I would have appreciated being notified. What was frustrating was his response afterward. He said, "I remember you bringing it in and I told you we would need more time." I replied that if I had been told that, I would have noted it in my calendar. I wasn't calling to argue--I was only asking for an update. Instead of taking accountability, he became defensive and attempted to blame me, which felt both unprofessional and unnecessary. He then said, "Well just come pick it up then, I'll give it to you." I never asked to pick it up--I was simply requesting a status update. Very unprofessional and lacking any skills in Customer Service. The current new tailor and the manager would not honor the work that the prior tailor had done to my dress. The first two employees I spoke to told me that Pattie no longer works there and they wouldn't honor the work she had done on my dress. I already paid close to $50 to have my dress altered, which was fine with me, but Pattie forgot to do the shoulder straps. When I pointed it out, I was told Pattie no longer works there and I would have to pay again if I wanted the straps shortened, even though I had already paid for it once. When I asked for the manager, the manager came out and basically argued with me and came up with 100 reasons why I would need to pay again if I wanted the straps shortened. Mind you all they had to do was cut 2 inches off the length of the straps. I had already spent close to $1000 on alterations for garments in just the last 12 months. This is separate from what I've spent on dry cleaning. Not only was that the most asinine thing I've ever heard, but they were very rude and argumentative. I spoke to each person very politely and very clearly as I explained I had already paid for the dress to be altered, and the person who worked on it, which was Pattie had simply forgotten to do the shoulder straps. They had my receipt on their computer and they could see everything. It wasn't until I told her that I would never come back and that I was going to write a review about this experience that she said all right she would do it for me. It was unbelievably unprofessional, unkind and incredibly ignorant. To lose a customer over fixing a simple shortening of a strap and to treat them so rudely is why I can see they only have a two star rating. Please read the reviews before you step foot in this Dry Cleaners. I will never go back there. Whether I had spent five dollars there or $5000 the way they treated me was disgusting. So this is just about the alterations at the Calabasas location and mainly just the tailor. I'm sure the dry cleaning is fine based on other reviews. Everyone I met at the front was super nice. I went to get some simple cotton khakis hemmed. The front desk directed me to the tailor. I walk over and she's just talking to her friend for a couple minutes. Okay cool maybe she's got an order. They're just chatting about her family now and its been a couple minutes now so I just speak up and say I need to get my pants hemmed. She glares at me and just continues talking to her friend. Finally she says "What?" as if I'm bothering her. I just repeat myself and she just says to put them on. I look at her and ask "Is there a dressing room?" She just rolls her eyes and points behind her which I guess was a door. Hard to tell when all the walls and doors are windows. I put them on and walk out, she's no where. Wait another 10 minutes looking like about to put on a polo with my khakis and start manning the cleaning presses. She finally returns and gives me a pickup check for 10 days. Okay fine, pretty unprofessional and I would never dream of treating my clients this way but maybe she's good at her job. After a week and a half for a simple cotton khaki hem job I come back, fee is $38 and they're not even ready. After 10 days. Good work takes time I guess. She pops up and says she can do them in 15m. Wow makes me feel real glad they're charging that much AND she's now going to rush the job? I just left. I just rebought the pants and am going to have my other tailor do them. Fazio can keep my pants as long as they don't get my money or any future business. I picked up my clothes with someone else's dress had to go to the back to look for mine. Fazio in Calabasas is a disorganized joke. Brought in $350 Hugo Boss slacks to be altered. Supposed to be ready in 1 week. Came back the day after it was supposed to be ready. They could not even find them. I called later that afternoon they said they found them and I could pick them up anytime. I went back the next day waited 20 minutes in line only to have the cashier tell me they're not ready he can't find them he has no idea where they are. Came to this place after I just moved to the area. our old dry cleaner would charge maybe 5-10 dollars an article of clothing . I recently had four suits tailored and the tailor did a good job on three of them (3 stars) but Fazio lost the pants for a brand new, and expensive, Canali tuxedo (-1 star). I've been waiting several weeks for a call from the manager to let me know how they plan to resolve it. I have had the worst customer service and experience ever with Fazio cleaners. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and I've used them several times but never again. I do not like to give a bad review to any business especially during our current Covid times but they just don't care about their customers. This week I called before I went there and asked if they could alter the sleeves on two sweatshirts and they told me YES and they would be done by Saturday. I said great I am leaving out of town on Sunday so my wife dropped them off for me on Wednesday morning. I decided to call on Thursday just to verify and confirm they would be ready on Saturday and they confirmed again a second . Needless to say, I showed up on Saturday and there was no manager working and no seamstress. The person at the counter told me that they were not even looked at yet. To make it worse I asked for my clothes back and they had tags on them with the date of pick up and a tag stating PROMISED CUSTOMER SATURDAY PICK UP. IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 stars I would. Reception person said you will pay at the pick up. When I came to pick my shirt up the price was $12.28. asked why is the price almost triple than you told me over the phone and she said $5.25 is wash but dry cleaning is $12.28 Ok. when I remove my shirt from plastic bag at my home I was shocked. My shirt was 2 sizes smaller and one side shortMer than another one. This is Italian expensive shirt $350 and I had to cover it in plastic bag and throw in trash can. I think Calabasas Fazio cleaners washed my shirt in hot water and destroyed it. First: their business strategy is provide their customers with wrong pricing to get more customers and then when you come to pick your stuff up you will get tricky transaction like I didn't understand yo when you called. But it's not ab the money but they destroyed my favorite shirt and no responsibility from this ugly business. I brought a very expensive trouser, jacket, and blouse to be dry cleaned, but the blouse and jacket must have gone into the laundry. The shrinkage of the blouse and jacket were so extreme that I couldn't even get them on. I asked for a monetary consideration to go buy the same or similar pieces. I said I would bring in the receipt, so they could understand my outrage. They simply refused, so neither I nor any of my friends use their services. As I was leaving, there was a man rushing to go in. He asked if I had left clothing, and I said no, I was asking for replacement value of some clothes they ruined. Misleading company. They have had weekly coupons they email for years. Originally, the coupon I used was 50% off shirt laundry when washing 6 or more pieces. They then increased it to 8 pieces...fair enough. Recently, they reduced their coupon to 30% off...which, again is their decision. What really upset me is that they did that in conjunction with a ~20+% increase in their laundry prices without any notice. I was told that when I questioned why my bill had almost doubled for the same amount of pieces. So the use of their coupon today ends up being about the price a regular priced laundry shirt cost a couple months ago. All these changes made discreetly so the customer wouldn't notice. read more

I dropped a sport jacket at Fazio Cleaners, Calabasas for alterations. I came to retrieve it two days after the recorded promised date from Patty, the Tailor there. The jacket was visibly in pieces laid out on a table, & clearly not completed when I came for pick-up. I was told to come the next day. The alteration was ghastly without going into detail. I discussed politely with the Tailor, concealing my utter dismay, & discussed an alternate way of altering the same jacket. I was told now it would be ready the following Thursday for sure by 5:00pm. I called at 5:05pm on the second "ready-date," & to my dismay, Patty said "it's not yet ready." Since this was the second time the jacket was not ready for pick up when promised, I asked her when she could 'For certain' have it completed & ready. Her response shocked me; "Do you really need it that soon?" I guess I am wondering if Fazio's owner or manager even checks online ratings, because I am finding that most people who took their tailoring there & recorded a review online have had the same problem. Don't they care about their customer service? Is no one who is performing poorly expendable anymore? Dropped off my items on a Monday morning and was told it would be ready the following week on Tuesday after 5pm. I came in the next week on Tuesday morning thinking they might be able to give it to me earlier and i handed my receipt to the lady and she gave it back to me and pointed at the date and i replied back saying that was today. She then said to "come back after 5pm". I came back later that day after 5pm to pick up the 4 pairs of pants i had dropped off a week ago to find out that not only could i not take at least one or two of them with me but, none of them were finished. The tailor had not started on any of the items i dropped off a week prior to the pick up date. The tailor and another lady told me to come back the following morning as my items would then be done. When i came back the tailor was unsure of which items were mine as she told me she lost the tags to my items so she wasn't sure which ones belonged to me. Came in over 2 weeks ago to get 3 of my dresses fixed with a zipper slider on all 3 dresses and a replacement of one zipper for one of my dresses. They gave me a week pickup, when I went in after a week of he dresses weren't even looked at. They told me to come back 5 days later and when I did my dresses were still not ready. The lady that takes care of sewing promised me she will have them ready in the next 2 days. I came in days later to get a bill for $105.00. They charged me $35 a dress! I have used this cleaner a few times for formal wear that has to be pressed. They messed up the press the previous time, so when I took it for cleaning most recently, I asked they fix it. They noted it on the ticket. When I went for pick-up the press was still wrong. I asked them to fix it and left it again overnight. When I returned the next morning, they hadn't done anything, and tried to tell me they fixed it. I showed them the error and asked for it to be re-pressed while I waited. They came back 5 minutes later, and had added a second crease to the same spot, making it even worse! I asked for the manager, who then had an attitude. The tailor came over as well, and rolled her eyes. This business is full of unprofessional workers and they will not get your dry cleaning right. I will not be returning. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would . The manager Gaby was sooo rude and because of the way she handled the situation where my blue jacket was destroyed I am not going back ever again. Basically I took my favorite blue jacket to get dry cleaned and they destroyed it ( see pictures attached). When I saw it, she said I'm sorry your jacket was ruined. When I told her that is not acceptable it was my fav jacket, can I claim for the insurance, she looked at the tag and said " well it is H&M jacket so it shouldn't have been very expensive how much was it anyway? I needed the dress by Tuesday, they said, "no problem" The dress was not only ready when I went to pick it up, they couldn't find it! When they finally did find it, they agreed to have it ready the next day. When I picked it up they had CUT my daughters sash and ATTACHED it to the dress??!! They were only supposed to move the clips on it and take the dress in, she was devastated. The only positive thing I can say is that after I saw what they had done, they didn't charge me.
