Has some seating and a good selection of baked goods. Got the pineapple bun with red bean. Shame they do not have just a normal red bean bun. Milk tea is actually decent! Impressed by the food selection here and the staff are kind. Enough seating for 4 people.

The Pork Bun and Roasted Pork Puff were delicious! The Curry Beef puff was okay, and the Ham and Cheese croissant was good but could've used more meat. The tapioca pearls in my Mango Green Tea were stuck together in one large lump so it was kind of hard to drink. The flan was flavorless, hard gelatin and the opera cake was a little dense. The cafe itself is cute, but it's pretty deep in the casino so hard to find. The service was okay, the ladies didn't really talk to us as they were yelling at each other.

New Years Eve, 1030 at night and they had heavenly desserts. I chose the strawberry cake and the red velvet cake. The strawberry cake one hands-down. Very light fluffy and tasty. There wasn't a lot of seating here so I sat outside of the restaurant on a bench enjoyed a couple bites with my cup of coffee that I got from the restaurant. Very nice little bakery to get something sweet.

Fay Da Bakery adds variety when it comes to desserts at Foxwoods. This Chinese bakery is located across from Noodles in Rainmaker Square. These pastries are in a visible display case with clear translated labels so you can swing by, grab the buns, egg custards, sesame balls or sponge cakes with their handy-dandy plastic tongs near the bags and trays. Or if you're fancying those Asian picturesque cakes with those delicate frosting, mousse, or fruit tarts, they're located behind the counter. Just bear in mind, the prices are much higher here than a typical bakery in Chinatown. Hot Grass Jelly Milk Tea- It's simply just a grass jelly tea bag with milk which was okay. Could be worst and be a powdered drink. Hot Dog Bun- The bun is sweet but a little stale and the hot dog was dry like it's been sitting there for awhile. Overall Service: Old Asian people who are rushing to get back to gambling really don't care if you're waiting in line, oh they'll cut you. With that being said, you would think the cashier would say something. Nope! Also, when I asked for Hot Grass Jelly Milk Tea, they didn't know what it was when it's on their menu until I pointed it out. Sigh.

This little bakery reminds of me living in south east Asia. Staff is super friendly and the 2 pastries we got were fresh and tasted great!

Fay Da has so much to choose from!! Last time I went I got the matcha cheesecake and a Thai tea with tapioca! Both were delicious, especially the cheesecake which was super moist. The Thai tea was really yummy, but my boyfriend and his sister both got fruit teas with tapioca and they were VERY sweet, but if you have a sweet tooth I'd go for it! I wish there was a bit more seating, but the awesome food is worth it! Worth a try if you're at Foxwoods!

Fay Da Bakery has all of the classic Chinese baked items you would come to expect: Cantonese Egg Tart, Flavored Mochi Balls, Melon Pan, and so much more. While they have the variety, most of the items I picked seemed a bit more on the stale side. That being said, I came during the end of the day and the baked goods no doubt had time to sit. Their baked creations which they kept hot held up well, with their beef curry puff pastry being some of the best I have had (flaky, crispy, and filled to the brim with curry beef)! As an added bonus, they also serve a large variety of bubble teas and smoothies. The bubble tea was serviceable enough, though the boba themselves were a bit on the overcooked side. Nevertheless, they still retained some of their "bounce" and were definitely soaked in honey. I would likely come to Fay Da again the next time I frequent Foxwoods and its a welcome site given how rare Chinese baked goods are in CT!

A fun place for unusual Asian pastry. I tried something familiar, a pecan tart, it's great trait was it wasn't overly sweet....and had a unique taste.

This the lady who just didn't get it, at all.

Omg! This place is the worst tasting food. They can't speak English and wouldn't know customer service, even if they were serving it along side their food. Will never go here again.

The food is never fresh, the customer service is horrible, and they barely know how to make tea. Not coming here again.

I've eaten here many times and have always had great experiences overall. However, during my most recent visit, I was a little disappointed. I felt misled about a few upcharges that weren't clearly explained when I ordered. I asked for an omelet, and when the server asked what kind of cheese I wanted, I assumed it was included but later found out it was an extra charge. I also asked to add avocado, which I expected to cost extra, but I didn't realize it would be nine dollars and actually come as guacamole with tomatoes, I did not ask for or want tomatoes and was not told they would be there. Good thing I do not have an allergy. The food was plenty and tasted good despite the tomatoes. I took half homebecuse I was full. The decor is beautiful and the service was friendly and attentive, so I didn't want to make a fuss at the time. I will definitely still come back, especially for the cheesecake, but I do hope they are a little clearer about add-on pricing in the future.

The $5 cupcakes might be the next best deal, but the one I tried wasn't that good. It looked delicious but it didn't really live up to the hype. I've yet to try the cheesecake because I find it hard to believe that a $9 slice of cheesecake is worthwhile. But I'm sure I'll try it at some point.

LOOK NO FURTHER - A Thyme to Cook is the best catering service you can find. They happened to be…read morethe first one I called and the first thing I booked after we chose our venue, Saltwater Farm Vineyard. I called other catering options, but I always went back to the first conversation in my mind that I had with Juli. She really painted the picture of what I wanted for my wedding. Our wedding date was 10/4/24 and Juli said, "Okay, so it's fall in New England. Your guests arrive to apple cider and water before being seated in the vineyard." I was hooked. A Thyme to Cook's reviews spoke for themselves, but I also felt extremely lucky when I was paired with Paige as my coordinator. Not only did she make the day of my wedding run as seamless as possible, but she also answered all of my paragraph long emails leading up to the wedding. She was the most important person I was working with throughout this whole experience since I was planning the wedding myself and not using a planner. Because of her I felt confident in how everything was slowly coming together despite having no idea what I was doing myself. She helped me work on timelines, ensure I had all of my vendors set, and was instrumental in making my dream wedding come to life. I was complimented as being a very chill bride and I have to say that's mostly in part to Paige and being so incredible at her job. We did so much work up front and she knew my vision so I was able to trust her and watch it all come to life. The food itself is also incredible. Not only will the food and drinks taste amazing, but also the presentation of them is something your guests will rave about. To be greeted by the apple cider station (with the option to spike it) was a huge hit and great way to introduce our guests to our big day. The cocktail hour ran super smoothly and the food was a huge hit. I have never seen a larger piece of steak at a wedding reception and it was just as good as our tasting experience. One thing I was also very excited about was our cider donut wall. It was the perfect fall dessert for our guests to enjoy and also snag on their way out. Also shout out to Sarah from the catering staff who made sure the bride and groom's glasses were always full, we never had to go to the bar for a drink or food. I cannot recommend this caterer enough. I promise you will be in the best of hands and your guests will be blown away by the experience. If you book A Thyme to Cook, know that you're getting much more than a caterer, you're getting a vendor that will help walk you through the entire process and it's worth every penny.

Three highlights were: The appetizers - my favorite part and nothing I'd ever seen before at a wedding, our plated dinner which was punctual with the steaks and fish perfectly cooked (per our guests), and the waitstaff who went over the top to deliver amazing service to us and our guests. In a word, impressed. We would hire ATTC again and again.
