The waiting room was a bit worn and old but grumpy, old Cujo did not object to the condition of the reception room, as she was busy complaining about the condition of being in a cat box. Dr. Chiang's assistant doubles as the receptionist and often the reception room looks unattended. The clinic room is clean and well ordered except for the huge number of photographs of dogs and cats that Dr. Chiang has on one of the walls. Some of his many happy patients, Cujo was another happy patient. She responded well to his treatment and she never complained about Dr. Chiang even when he stuck took blood samples. As a single vet clinic the hours are a bit odd: 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm during the week only.

That's how much I love this vet, I've been done over by others. But from now on I'm taking all my pets and family's pets there! And from Zoe; meow you and you guys are purrrrrrefect!! Fank you for fixing my sore eye, mouth and sneezing nose! Xoxo

There's never a fun way to spend your Saturday afternoon and hard earned cash, when a vet is…read moreinvolved. It usually means that you have a sick pet. And being a Saturday it's going to be a really sick pet too. When I noticed my youngest fur-child rather unwell on a Saturday morning, I rang the first local vet that I could find. A reassuring vet talked me through the potential issues and told me to call back later if things got worse. Things did get worse. So off we went a walking to meet the nice new vet. As a childless woman in her late 20s most professionals, vets/doctors, do seem to take pleasure in pushing aside your concerns as misspent youth and nothing more. Thankfully the vet nurses and vet himself had skipped this class at vet 101 school. The staff listened and took into consideration my concerns and vague descriptions. During the entire consultation the vet clearly explained terms, any expected costs and alternative things we could consider. All the while handling poor Toby with the utmost love and attention.

While she is a complete jerk 90 per cent of the time, I still love my dear cat Manu (named after…read moreFrench chef Manu Feildel) and therefore need to give her the best possible care. Enter Brunswick Central Vet Clinic. Here she gets her regular check ups (and hates them), I get to ask questions about her behaviour (why is she so obsessed with boxes?) and can stock up on healthful cat goodies. She is finicky little princess and will only eat the fancy, expensive stuff from the vet (which is fine because it's so much better for her than stuff from the supermarket.) You can easily make an appointment in the morning and get in only an hour later - it's a tweak more expensive on the weekends so try and get in on a weekday if you can. Oh, they also have a puppy school!

It was lucky for me that Brunswick Central is only a short distance from our house and it was recommended by friends. After several visits I started to notice also the attention they give my pet when I come in with concerns. They ring you after appointments to check in on how the furs are going and are able to fit you in fairly quickly. When I take my dog in with concerns, they listened and assessed her thoroughly. Lots of real cuddles and treats to make them feel comfortable so vet visits are never too scary. I joined their pet care package too ( you pay upfront every year ) and you get all the worming and flea controls included and a nice reminder when they are due, their regular vaccines, and consult fee if you need to attend the 24 hr emergency care partner clinic. Ive always felt comfortable and have trusted them with my furbaby. The clinic also run a small group puppy school but ring ahead as they get booked out

Dr Robin with his experience, knowledge and confidence made it easier for us and Lucky, as we have lost faith and trust in previous vets. He took the time to explain everything for us. He was honest, genuine and his care showed that he has the best interest at heart for us and our pet. We knew straight away we could trust him with no doubt, and the outcome shows. Dr Robin had saved Lucky's life. My family and I will always be grateful. Words cannot express enough the way we all feel right now. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our beautiful boy Lucky. Dr Robin is an amazing Vet Surgeon, his professional and carrying. We highly recommend Dr Robin and his team to any pet owner, they are amazing, professional, thoughtful and caring. Preston Vet Clinic is the best Vet clinic, we wouldn't take our pet anywhere else. Thank you so much Robin from the bottom of our hearts
Wrong antibiotics given and my cat got worse! I bought my cat to this clinic with a UTI as my usual…read morevet was closed at the time. He was given a blood test and a course of antibiotics as precautionary as they could not get a urine sample. This costing me $250!!! I was told the next day that the blood test showed his kidney levels were up and to come in for another blood test in two weeks. A week later (after the course of antibiotics) my cat was in so much pain, unable to urinate and swollen genitals. It was very distressing. . I took him to my normal vet and he said the drug given to him was totally inappropriate and it was therefore doing absolutely nothing to treat my cat. The vet also said according to the report that was sent, that the kidney levels were actually well within the range. Obviously this was a load of scare mongering and an attempt to get more money for further unnecessary expensive blood tests. This was all very distressing and could have been easily avoided if the correct care was given in the first place! I feel so duped and that my emotions and worry for the health of my cat were played upon at a vulnerable time, in an attempt to get as much money out of me as possible. My cat was not cared for correctly.

Dr Tim checked her very thoroughly and listened to us about her symptoms before his diagnosis. He emphasised that if it was open pyo he'd have to operate straight away, but luckily we caught it early. We agreed in his treatment plan to delay surgery and administer antibiotics so the infection could come down and minimise risk for surgery. She's now off the antibiotics post surgery and doing very well. I'm so relieved, given how dangerous it was.The worst that's happened to her before was a split claw. Thank you Dr Tim.
I am writing this review to shed some light on Glenroy Vet Clinic. Our 16 year old Maltese dog had…read morebeen seen over a number of years by Dr Tim. She did have a heart murmur and was put on meds a few years ago, under the care of The Animal Referral Hospital and doing extremely well, as I also introduced a holistic approach to this condition and must state once again miraculous improvement to her condition. Then we kept up occasional visits at Glenroy under Dr Tim. On the 9th of April 2024 we brought our little dog to Dr Tim as she had stopped eating and drinking on the previous day and were worried. She was showing signs of lock jaw and stiff hind legs. Dr Tim assessed her and literally told us she is old, frail and its time, but we were not about to euthanize our little dog. So we asked him to administer an arthritis injection thinking that her stiff legs were getting worse from that. He also recommended a steroid injection to increase her appetite. The next day things were getting worse, so we thought there is no other option but put her down as Dr Tim stated on the previous day. So made our way to Glenroy Vet clinic and that was the end of our little Maltese dog. This is the worst decision both my wife and I have ever undertaken. I was not in a good place after that and my mind was ticking, thinking something was not right with Dr Tim's diagnose, so made calls to two animal hospitals and 3 other larger vet clinics. I stated the issues our dog was having with its locked jaw, stiff hind legs and not been able to eat/drink. All of them said your dog seem like its got Tetanus and needs urgent medical attention and must be brought in immediately and put on the right Meds well that's too late. We have now euthanized our little dog on the miss diagnose from Dr Tim. After a discussion with Dr Tim, what I have stated above with other vet clinics ( TETANUS) he stated that he has never heard and come across Tetanus in dogs. Well Dr Tim for all the years you have been a vet your knowledge falls short, you have miss guided us to putting our dog down on your wrong diagnosis, you even admitted to this on the phone conversation we had after euthanizing our dog and to make things worse apologized. That's not going to bring back our dog. Now I'm not the type of person to criticize others and leave negative reviews, but this has taken its toll on me knowing we put our dog down unnecessarily. Its been 2 weeks now, I am not sleeping and feeling very stress thinking about what has taken place. Dr Tim our dog was not old and frail you have mentally destroyed us. Dr Tim if your not certain about something you should have referred us on. So I'm putting this out to all you pet owners 1
