Then, we made the best decision we've ever made and went to see Dr. Sos & his wonderful team (Ella & Natalie) at the Sunshine Veterinary Clinic. I honestly believe that they loved our little man as much as we did. I speak in past tense as we recently lost our little mate to a heart condition, but we honestly believe that we got at least another two years with him thanks to the care given by Dr Sos. The care and concern shown towards our family since the passing of our beloved family member has been above & beyond what anyone could ever expect. This lovely team really, really care! I cannot thank Dr. Sos, Ella & Natalie, enough for all that they have done for us and I highly recommend them if you want your pet to be well looked after and cared for. Still charge Consult Fees like they're some sort of specialists. You need a money tree with these scammers or just find a better solution. This was the last straw, this clinic charged me twice for consultation of an ongoing ear infection in my dog. Last time I go there! So unhappy with their rubbish service!

Unfortunately, the vet informed me that F4 vaccine was on back order and nil stock?; and informed me my cat had just received the F3 vaccine? AFTER the procedure had been completed. I was in total shock. I was extremely annoyed by the dishonesty and being misinformed by information- I received no call prior my appointment from reception of no stock and was not informed before her vaccine! The vet acknowledged my upset and stated he should have told me before the vaccine. This was a service not based on trust and integrity. I informed the vet (Dr. Ibrahim) that I required to cover my cat with towel during vaccine and she has her vaccine from the bottom side. In this instance, i felt i was not listened to. Instead, the vet remarked "Normally that is not required? we will see how we go?".....I said "No?? I need to cover my cat with towel during vaccine to make her feel safe. I had a failed vaccination last time because the vet didn't handle my cat properly and with proper handling technique! and i found this technique worked safely and allowed my cat to not be scared?" at this point, I felt i was not listened to and had to EXPLAIN myself!! this was frustrating! Please dear customers...If you want your beloved cat to go to a vet, please do not take him/ her here! they showed poor communication, was disloyal with my consent to vaccination type and this presents as a misconduct issue. I will take my business elsewhere but not this clinic! Rate 1. Also, long waiting times 40 minutes ++!!!

This is a small practice so don't expect bells and whistles in the facility for example, but rather personalised friendly professional and genuine care, kindness and skill. With a policy of no bookings other than for procedures, I have been surprised by a very low waiting time compared to other veterinary practices I have attended in Melbourne's suburbs. I was also amazed by the stitching skill on my pooch after surgery - I think a plastic surgeon couldn't have left any less of a scar or straighter a line. Although we first think of this as only cosmetic it made a huge difference to the comfort of my dog and therefore her healing time as she wasn't always licking or scratching as they often do when wounds are irritating them.
