I booked my cat in for F4 vaccine Booster (4 weeks after the initial F4 vaccine) and i told the vet I'm getting her the F4 vaccine. Unfortunately, the vet informed me that F4 vaccine was on back order and nil stock?; and informed me my cat had just received the F3 vaccine? AFTER the procedure had been completed. I was in total shock. I was extremely annoyed by the dishonesty and being misinformed by information- I received no call prior my appointment from reception of no stock and was not informed before her vaccine! The vet acknowledged my upset and stated he should have told me before the vaccine. This was a service not based on trust and integrity. I informed the vet (Dr. Ibrahim) that I required to cover my cat with towel during vaccine and she has her vaccine from the bottom side. In this instance, i felt i was not listened to. Instead, the vet remarked "Normally that is not required? we will see how we go?".....I said "No?? I need to cover my cat with towel during vaccine to make her feel safe. I had a failed vaccination last time because the vet didn't handle my cat properly and with proper handling technique! and i found this technique worked safely and allowed my cat to not be scared?" at this point, I felt i was not listened to and had to EXPLAIN myself!! this was frustrating! Please dear customers...If you want your beloved cat to go to a vet, please do not take him/ her here! they showed poor communication, was disloyal with my consent to vaccination type and this presents as a misconduct issue.
